  1. I downloaded purchased PDF files from Teachers Pay Teachers. Adobe Acrobat opens them. I can view them just fine. When I print, however, the job is processed, a printer icon appears showing 1 job is being created, and then the icon disappears. It doesn't appear to get to the printer at all.
    I can print with the text editor just fine.
    I am using a MacBook Air with MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 operating system. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (first time I looked, was using 2017 version, now says continuous version????)

  3. When opening files in SharePoint Online in Adobe Acrobat desktop via the Adobe Acrobat for Microsoft 365 app, there are way too many clicks - three for opening and three for closing outlined below.

    It would be great if these clicks could be eliminated via preferences; the most important to eliminate would be Version Comments on Check In and the click to "Desktop" after it opens in browser Acrobat.

    1. Click on the applicable file in SharePoint in browser to open (this one make sense of course)
    2. Click desktop to open the file in Adobe Acrobat desktop rather than…

  4. Adobe esign is completely broke with recent update on forms that are filled out and then sent for signature. After filling out the form, then click send for signature, everything gets wiped out, and all that is left is a "text" box. There was a work around by using the online portal and dropping the filled form into the loader, but now that's broke too. The only fill and send for signature means we have is through the mobile app, but I am sure that will be broke soon too as they continue to push this latest update. This…

  6. I've updated from 32 to 64 bits Adobe acrobat Pro and the user interface experience is terrible:
    * I don't find anywhere the add textbox.
    * I don't see the number of pages nor the present page number
    * I cannot add a button to take snapshots and to take an snapshot I have to go to the text / tool search. I cannot find the option in the menus.

    I miss a lot the 32 bits user interface. I loose a lot of time looking for commands that where easy to find in the 32 bits version.

  7. We started seeing this Save error on 12/30/24 with no change on our end other than keeping Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader up to date with current version (2024.005.20320 64-bit). PCs OS is both Windows 10 and 11 pro. Our network share is DFS but testing done on non-DFS storage doesn't exhibit this issue nor does local storage.
    Users edit a file on their network share and click the Save diskette icon expecting for the changes to save. Instead, they get the following dialog boxes and the following error:

  8. I'm using Windows 11, 64-bit. Auto-updated the other day and now I cannot use my cursor, it turns into a large black square. I tried reverting to the prior reader version but I wasn't successful. I tried capturing a screenshot but of course the square disappears with the print screen function.

  9. Copy/Paste does not work with special characters (used in Spanish, French, German, Danish etc.) anymore. Instead of letters it just leaves blank spaces in the document. Here is an example:

    Copy in Acrobat Pro DC:

    "Nous vérifions volontiers la possibilité d'une telle
    production spéciale pour le cas individuel."

    Paste in any other program:

    "Nous v rifions volontiers la possibilit  d'une telle
    production sp ciale pour le cas individuel."

    I have tested this on various different computers running macOS Monterey 12.1 and Acrobat Pro DC 2021.011.20039.

  10. Where are those buttons hiding now? There should be buttons to take you to the first or last page of a document. Previously you had to turn them on, but I can't find where to turn them on now with this awful UI. Someone mentioned finding a way to put it back to the old UI, how is that done?

  11. The fact that there is no format painter on Adobe is insane. Microsoft has it, google has it, it seems like everyone has it except you. why don't you? It would save so much time. Just put the dang thing.

  12. I have 2 problems with the New Adobe update.
    1) There is No Way to Reverse Print so the doc does not have to be HAND Reversed to be in Readable Order on my HPOffice Jet Pro 7740.
    2) There is No way to Print Both sides on my printer HPOffice Jet Pro 7740

  13. When adding a sticky note to a document, it faces the wrong way. I wish there was a way to rotate it so the talk bubble faces in the direction of the text, as well as resizing it, or at least, allow it to scale with the text. If I resize the document, the icon doesn't appear to stay locked. I've use the arrow on the bottom but would prefer the talk bubble.

    Is there a way to adjust the orientation of these icons?

  15. Acrobat DC recently started to crash every time I open two PDFs. It just closes all the windows without showing any error messages.
    Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. I assume this is associated with some recent update, since this bug started to appear in the last one month. Would anybody know how to fix this?

  16. Brief description of the use case:
    starting from Adobe Document cloud in a SharePoint online environment I click on the "Desktop" button to open a PDF file in Adobe Reader.
    A selection window appears where i can start Acrobat Reader or download & install the app.
    The download button is highlighted in blue, and encourages me to be the better choice.

    Error indication:
    The application is already installed by 100% of users. Due to a lack of permission on the desktop, Acrobat Reader cannot be downloaded and installed again.

  17. I recently had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro and I would like to be able to remove the icons and replace them with text only menus. If I wanted to look at hieroglyphs I would tune in the Stargate series on MeTV.

    Is there a way to change preferences or an add-on that will remove the box-of-crayons-colors icons and display text menus automatically? I don't use the application often enough to memorize the mouse-over texts. It's tiresome enough dealing with texter's shortcut abortions of the English language these days. I'd rather not have to play a game of…

  18. The current two machine limit is much lower than what is offered by other subscription services. iTunes allows 5 per account, for example. Having one person use 3 machines regularly is not uncommon. I use a work desktop, a home office desktop, and less frequently, a laptop when traveling. It is very inconvenient to have to constantly sign in and out on these machines. I would urge Adobe it increase it's limitation to 3-5 machines per license purchased.

  19. I have customized the Quick Tools bar, but it only appears to the right of the other tools in one ribbon, therefore there isn't enough room for all of the custom tools to appear all the time. I am constantly having to hit the three dots to get to my most frequently used toold. I don't appear to have a way to move my quick toolbar below the other one, or to the right of the screen.

  20. The Line Spacing in Acrobat DC is so much more difficult to work with. Its much harder to complete forms with the set 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 2.0 etc. options. Adobe 9.0 Pro was so much easier to work with. Not all lines are equal. The option to adjust line spacing with by click on the line spacing icon was SO MUCH EASIER. Please consider making this an option again.
