Please allow users to stop lefthand ribbon from automatically opening in PDFsI have to open one PDF after another for hours and must close the left-hand ribbon every single time. It aggravates my RSS and badly impairs my efficiency. Can't you allow users to turn it off permanently unless they want it? 1 vote

Let sound files on PDFs open in Email attachments as they used to.I am a musician and have been using Adobe Pro to send PDF flyers with a sound bite attached to the PDF that played when the email attachment was opened. This gave an immediate result. I am amazed to find that due to an upgrade Adobe Pro will no longer do this, instead if you send a flyer to a potential venue they have to open the email attachment, save it to a file, close it, open it again, trust it, close it and open it another time before the sound can be heard. New venues are not going to do this so the "upgrade" is totally useless and I am going to have to cancel my subscription unless the original feature is re-installed. The upgrade is far too long winded to be used as a sales aid. Also in trying to fix what I thought was a fault I have been talking to your techs all last week and they did not know that the open in email feature had been removed!! If you can make viewing PDFs with sound in e-malls easier please let me know. It was a great sales feature that, as a musician, is no longer worth keeping Pro for I am sure that many other users are disappointed in the new version of Pro I am a musician and have been using Adobe Pro to send PDF flyers with a sound bite attached to the PDF that played when the email attachment was opened. Be able to adjust width of Tools Pane by selecting the frame and moving it left or right. (Acrobat Standard DC 20.006.20034)Most GUI based applications allow the end user to adjust width of a page by grabbing the frame and moving it left or right. In my specific case, I am editing forms and the Tools pane shows the field names, which is nice, but I have to scroll the window to read the full names. There is a scroll bar on the bottom but this reduces the utility of the feature. 2 votes

Editing a PDF documentHonestly, I am not sure why I was sent to this area, all I wanted was to get help in drawing a line through a word or text on a PDF document but somehow no one from the technical team was able to help. I thought this would have been a basic feature of Adobe Acrobat, but I guess I was wrong. 2 votes

Create PDF extensionAdobe Create PDF extension is no longer available for Firefox because Firefox has stopped supporting NAPI. I would like Adobe to develop a replacement for the Create PDF extension. It did a much better job of creating a PDF from a web page than Print to Adobe does. It also allowed the output to be added to an existing PDF file. This was very useful when you had several web pages that were essentially part of one subject or transaction. It allowed you skip saving the pages as individual files and then combining them as a separate step. Please bring back the Create PDF extension functionality! Intuitive Interface to Set Default FontsUsing Acrobat Pro DC is the biggest headache in the world. You have made this 1,000 times more difficult than Adobe Acrobat Pro X. Adobe Acrobat's team seems incapable to thinking intuitively. I want to create a default font, point size and color setting for all pdf documents I edit in Adobe Acrobat DC, but one must do this for each document based on the website help. if someone replies with an apparent 1, 2, 3 step, that is NOT ADEQUATE. The issue: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Team does NOT CREATE AN INTUITIVE ONE STEP INTERFACE. One should NEVER TO GO TO THE HELP PAGE. The number of times people need to go to the Help Page is directly related to the ratio of poor to good software development. Thank you. Dr. Using Acrobat Pro DC is the biggest headache in the world. Acrobat stealing my pdfs - won't return or deleteSince I did a one month trial of your e-sign function, Adobe Acrobat Reader has been stealing all my PDFs from Apple cloud and Pages. It won't return them, and I cannot delete them. I cannot access them to attach to an email. It's causing me a lot of trouble. I cannot uninstall the application either (from my MacBook Pro). And I supposed I'd lose the files if I did uninstall. HELP! I've been on hold for 20 minutes. 1 vote

Shrinking filesIt's a shame, that Acrobat makes it such a harmfully experience to lower the filesize of a pdf (coming from photoshop Artboard to PDF Export), that actually does nothing! Filesize goes from 18 MB to 17,5 MB or something (if it even works without errors you can't debug because you can't do something about it). In the end I have to buy and use third party tools like pdf squeezer (for mac).
One click, and it shrinks the 18 MB to 600 KB! Without lowering the quality!!Adobe please work on your UI for Acrobat Pro.
Or even better: Work on PDF Export options (with artboards) from Photoshop. include an abbreviation <abbr> tag in a PDF for a tooltip like effectWe create acronym-heavy PDFs at my company. We often create hyperlinks from the acronyms to the acronym list, but a better solution would be a tooltip-style effect where you could hover your cursor over the acronym and have the definition appear. This is done in HTML with the abbr tag and is quite elegant.
I've tried to accomplish this with a transparent button over the acronym and using a tooltip, but this is incredibly laborious and makes the file size explode.

Make selected comment bubble obviousI ask my clients to provide edits via PDF comments. Even as a person with normal vision, it is hard to tell which comment bubble is presently active (e.g. via clicking on a comment in the side panel). On images or busy pages it can become like an advent calendar search. The contrast of the bubble background and its dotted border are inadequate (even with opacity set to 100). Contrast between inactive and active (selected) comment bubble needs to be vastly improved, perhaps by size and not just colour. I would use the PDF comments import in InDesign instead but every time I click on a comment it zooms out my page such that I can't comfortably read my text. (I've submitted feedback on this item.)
