User Interface and Navigation Layout is terrible
I HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out!

Please add Thai language support for both interface and OCR
Please consider adding Thai language support for both interface and OCR. It would be better if both the app and OCR is available in Thai.

crapy new interface
The new interface is really ****. The toolbars must be more user-friendly, and we should be able to hang in the bar at the top OR on the right OR on the left, or even be able to put it ELSEWHERE than in the working window (as in some old versions). Looks like the people who developed this version aren't actually working with their own product. Worst update I've seen in 15 years.

How the **** do you even display the page number you're on? No way to know, because no button is labeled. This **** is garbage. ********.

New interface needs changes
The new "modern" interface just doesn't work for people like myself who use a lot of plugins and don't need Acrobat for commenting or e-signing. I work in a print shop and I'm constantly reviewing and editing customer files. I need to be able to easily see the page counts, scroll through documents, check page box sizes, etc... All of these changes have made that really difficult and it slows down our workflow drastically. I get wanting to clean things up and I remember that DC was a big shift from older versions like XI that could seem very cluttered.…

Serious Bug: User interface needs reversion to prior version or option to do so
Well, sonny, back in the old days in 2022, Acrobat had this interface where you could insert a page from a scanner in two mouse clicks. That was before the new fangled 2023 version that requires making an all new document and importing it.
It used to be you'd just go to File > Insert Pages > From Scanner and, pow, zap, whoop, there'd be the pages you'd want to add.
Now that they got this new-fangled interface and first you have to find the "File" menu item. That's hidden up under the three bars. Everyone else in the world…

Restore old version of acrobat user interface?
The new interface has no easy way to set up continuous scrolling and now way to install buttons for return to previous page or jump forward like the old one. And put the menu back at the top where it belongs and make it editable.
This user interface is a disaster - how did you ***** up so badly.

Password Protect new interface
Add ability to" Password Protect" in the new interface on the web while sending a document for esignature. Or allow us to go back to the old experience, same as we can in Desktop. It's 7/17/25 today, and I last used this feature 5/20/25. Extremely frustrated that a feature I used for years can just disappear overnight.

Revert UI back to Acrobat Pro layout
No basic functionality in the top menu (Reduce File, etc.), no immediate access to a Marquee Zoom tool because the tool bar has to be opened in a separate tab every time I open a file before I can use them. I'm shocked that Adobe is still pushing on with this awful excuse for a UI. It's convoluted and a waste of user time, let alone visually inconsistent with all other Adobe products. Lots of user complaints relating to the same issues but, as usual, Adobe don't appear to want to fix it, just carry on shoe-horning what they think…

hate terrible abysmal awful childish worst ever poor slow buggy interface rubbish sucks dysfunctional fire
Glad I'm not alone. I'm a former Ux designer for a CAD company. The user interface is the absolute worst experience I've ever encountered. Take a hint from Blue Beam and design a ribbon, or get out of the business. Attached is just a tiny example. Extracting a page from a document, and I see TWO dialog boxes? On top of not being able to find anything related to production/markups, it's constantly freezing, and Task Manager in Windows is my only friend at that point.

The new Adobe Acrobat pro interface doesn't allow you to open pdf's in new windows instead of tabs.
Please bring back the open pdf's in new windows option. I use Alt-Tab to switch between documents. For some reason the development team didn't think that was important anymore and excluded this option in the new interface. Bring it back! stop taking away features.

Poor redesign of interface
Poor redesign!! Placing the page number viewed in the LOWER RIGHT hand corner is NOT intuitive.... Who lets these designers create this, without consideration of the end user? Page numbers and accessibility to see all pages (to re-sequence) should have menu banners on top.

Fix requested: Scanning with HP Pagewide MFP 577dw only allows native interface
Adobe only allows the use of the native interface for the HP Pagewide MFP 577dw. The HP Native Interface is clunky, won't save default settings, and has trouble scanning multipage with automatic document feeder. Adobe worked flawlessly with previous printer. Can you please fix? Thanks!

Bring Back the File Icon/Object to the Top App Window bar (drag& Drop)!
The new interface is nice, but I really use the drag and drop a lot as I do Graphic Design and Design production where I have multiple projects in different folders and drives. I send out approval PDFs and it saves time and hassle to drop what I see in Acrobat into my eMail and Slack chats (and sometimes copy to another folder). I hope you can put that back in some way with the new interface. Luckily tech support showed me how to revert to the old interface. :)

Please enable AI for use with the old interface
Please enable the AI assistant while using the old interface.
I, and many other users, have elected to "disable new Acrobat," however, selecting this option disables the AI assistant. If I want to use the AI assistant, I have to re-enable the new interface ("Enable New Acrobat"), close and reopen the program. Then to make edits to documents, I must do the same steps in reverse, disabling "new Acrobat." I have tried to just use the new interface, but it's such a struggle that, even though the AI assistant might save me a lot of time in reading…

The Acrobat DC “save as PDF” interface has been scrambled
My computer system is MacOS 10.14.4, Acrobat version is DC (2019.020.20099). After adding fonts to macOS FontBook, the Acrobat DC “save as PDF” interface has been scrambled.
2 votesHi,
Thanks for reporting the issue to us. Can you please provide some more details :
1. What font did you add via macOS font book?
2. Do you see this scrambled interface only on save dialog? Can you please go to Home / My computer/ Document Cloud/ Add an Account section on the left hand rail and let us know if you observe the same issue on these screens.Regards,

New Acrobat Interface does not work when connected via Windows Remote Desktop Connection (RDC)
Personally, I love the new interface as it only takes a little to get used to and then it is so much faster and intuitive.
The issue is, my computer has the new interface. I can confirm this whenever I launch the program. However I work remotely 98% of the time, and no matter what I try the interface automatically reverts to the old view when I connect via Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop Connection (RDC)
I can not figure out what would cause this to happen and its so frustrating because I want the new Acrobat! Please…
