Constant sign in pop up is a PAIN
That frigging sign in pop up constantly appearing is a screaming pain in the butt. I open a doc and read it. I print a doc and save it. I print a doc and insert additional pages. That's all I ever do. I don't give a flying red rat's rear about the friggin' cloud. If I want to sign in I will. Make this bloody annoyance go away or I will cancel my subscription and simply use the one time purchase product. BTW don't think we aren't aware that this constant sign in and cloud **** is nothing more than you and God knows who else stealing our information for God know what purpose. That's right I don't trust you. MAKE THE SIGN IN POP UP GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remove icons on comments
When I place a comment, a trash can icon or sticky note icon appears, but those icons only get in the way of the content I'm trying to comment on. It would be great to be able to disable that feature.

Comment text fades when clicked away from, no opacity option
When using the add comment text tool the text appears normal when initially typed but fades when clicked away from. The support agents I spoke with said there should be an opacity slider for that tool however there is only the option to change color.

Fill and sign does not pull up saved signature image
I was previously able to sign documents using a saved image via the fill and sign feature. I have now installed DC and when i open the fill and sign feature, I am able to add text to a PDF document but when i click the 'Sign' button, my saved signature images do not load. The box which is supposed to contain the signature images shows up but there is no content in it.
This is happening with multiple docs. I was able to use this feature without any trouble until a few days back.
5 votesHi,
Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please provide us some more details :
1. Please make sure you are on the latest version of Acrobat. To check go to Help > Check for Updates.
2. Are you observing a blank Sign drop down in Fill and Sign app?
3. Are you able to use the Adobe Sign application?
4. Can you please try signing out and then signing in to Acrobat?
5. Are you under some network/firewall restrictions? If yes, can you please disable them and try again.Regards,

Autofill subject line in Email
I have just installed Adobe on a new PC and it no longer fills in the subject line in my EMail.
This is most frustrating as all the previous versions of Adobe Reader that i have used have done this automatically, with the name of the File I'm sending.
Filling in the subject line in a 100 plus Accounts Emails is a non trivial exercise, as i use the Subject line as a sorting mechanism and it needs to be entered identically every time for each client.

Did you guys bury my most-used feature?
Hi, Yesterday when I opened Acrobat DC, and I viewed comments, I could check off the comment as completed right there in the comment's own panel. today when I opened the same program, in order to mark a comment as completed, I have to open two levels of a flyout menu.
How do I unbury this check box so I do not have to add twice as much clicking to my proofreading process?13 votes -
Redaction Properties
It would be helpful if there was a Redaction Properties menu bar that could be more easily and quickly accessible when redacting a PDF document. The attached file is a picture of the properties menu I am referring to. If those options could be placed on a menu that was available on the top or side of an open PDF, that would be great!

Option to disable internet connectivity
Hello, I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC behind a firewall with a proxy password that changes daily. I almost never need to use any internet connectivity from within Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and I get so tired of entering my proxy password every time I want to just view a PDF file. It is particularly annoying because I always get two prompts for my proxy password. Please add an option to just stop Adobe from trying to reach the internet. I have spent hours searching the internet for an existing solution, and I can't find anything. Thank you for considering this feature request.

Bring back ctrl-A as a shortcut to select all (or filtered comments)
This was a feature in XI Pro. It went away with DC. I want to be able to use control-A to select comments. That keyboard shortcut has been disabled.

You have ruined Acrobat. Nothing works smoothly anymore. Stop updating just to do so!
Too many clicks, to many freezes, horrible updates this past year! Please get rid of unnecessary updates!

Accessibility - Table Cell Splitting/size bug
In making large, complex tables accessible, I have repeatedly come across multiple cells that I have drawn with the cell button on the reading order panel, that either include more than one cell, or create one cell that is so large that I cannot select any cells beneath it.

Singe page view, horizontal swipe to "flip" pages
Drawboard PDF's single page view allows one to swipe through pages (like "flipping" pages in a book). I find this helps with retention as it breaks apart the text, delineated by page breaks. I've tried your single page vertical scrolling view, but I found it to be clunky. A few things that would probably make this better (for the horizontal swipe as well):
Don't have the page "glued" to the screen, but put it on a rubber band -- so, as someone "drags" the page, you can see it react/ shift from the center/ default position. If the user just drags, then releases, the page will snap back into place. If the user swipes (ie, gives the page some momentum with a finger flick) with a certain amount of force/velocity, then the page "flips" to the next/previous one.
One feature I like about Xodo PDF (on Android)'s experience with the single page/ horizontal flipping of pages -- if you are zoomed in to the page to read the text (as you frequently are on a smaller phone screen), if you flick forward, it automatically places you at the top of the next page, at the same zoom level, at the same horizontal scrolling position (or, maybe it just centers on the text)? Likewise, if you flick backward, it shows you the previous page, at the very bottom of the page. I like this because you can keep reading without having to adjust your page position any more. This is probably a little less of an issue for the larger screen sizes of desktop/ laptop computers, but would still be nice to have in case one is zoomed in some and wants to keep reading at that zoom level from page to page.
As for why I'd prefer a horizontal swipe vs a vertical one -- this is more intuitive for me, having been trained on books when I read very long documents. Again, having this be horizontal helps me with retention (I feel)

restore
I frequently add comments to drawing files created in Adobe format. It works great if a person can remember to save the file every time changes are made. If he can't because the user gets side tracked and opens another file and experiences a adobe crash everything is lost. When users start editing an adobe file, it should work just like Word where it auto saves every so often so that if a crash occurs, all the comments are restored also and not just the original file.

Two large extended screens, scrolling left to right
I have two large screens extended, and would like to see documents scroll full pages left to right to be able to view up to four pages at a time and don't want the entire display to be replaced with four more pages, but want a smooth scroll from left to right, to see the context of the adjacent pages.

Edit font in fillable fields on forms
Currently, if I send a fillable form to someone, they can't change the font they enter into the fillable fields. It would be great if they could change the font to suit them rather than have to keep the font that I've assigned. OR if I could assign a font and have it appear on the PDF at their end rather than converting to a default font if they don't have that particular font on their computer.
1 votePlease select “Allow Rich Text Formatting” for the text field in the “Options” tab of the Properties dialog box.
Formatting options are available on “Right Click”
And font can be changed using the “text toolbar”, using the shortcut key CTRL+E or CMD+E.I hope this help

Add Signers at Any Point in the Process
It seems there is only one place you can add the email addresses of signers while creating the form. Once past the "add signers" field you cannot go back, say if you forgot someone. This is frustrating and time wasting as you have to start all over again if you make a mistake or miss someone.

Convert WORD files to PDF directly through Dropbox
I have Word files in the dropbox, which I need to generate a PDF. I would like to generate this PDF files directly in the dropbox .
1 voteHi
You can achieve the same by signing in with your Dropbox account in Acrobat and select the file to create PDF. Click on Create PDF button and the file would be converted to PDF.
Thanks
Tanvi
