    Dear Adobe team.
I wish I could print a batch of PDFs to PDFs as an image. Print> Advanced> Select 'Print as image'. If you had the option of including multiple PDFs in that functionality, it would save you a lot of work. I have hundreds of PDFs in which I inserted a watermark, and I need to send it to my client, but I don't want to take the risk of having the watermark removed. Then the solution would convert and generate a new PDF with the printed pages as an image, merging the content…

  3. Using 'Send for Signature' with added signature block. Date does not appear when uploading an image. Unlike type and draw which has the date automatically added under the signature. See tickets #0188780191 and #0188780008 on 3/21/17.

  4. The last update had issues as well. How about testing you product with pitstop (a major component in most professional companies) The bugs that exist make it unusable.

  5. When editing a document to add an image/logo you have to do this individually at the moment one at a time. It would be good to be able to do this as a batch of files that are the same document but need a different image/logo.

  6. Please make an option for a handwritten/image signature to be mandatory in order for the client to sign.

(Our clients with special needs really struggle to find the fountain pen to do a handwritten signature. So they only type their name (default setting), and the funding body doesn't pay us.)

  7. The Export PDF via Adobe Clouds PDF Pack uses a slider to select the Image quality when converting an Image to PNG, JPG, or TIFF. However, regardless of the setting, it outputs a low quality 792X1024 image. Whereas, Adobe Acrobat Pro can output 5100X6600 PNGs.

If due to subscription, the PDF pack is not able to output different quality Images, there should not be a setting for quality and it should be noted in the subscriptions comparison table.

  9. 1) Read in the attached file ("a.pdf").
    2) Select "Export a PDF>text (plain)" and save to the file "a.txt"

For me, the file is nearly empty, 14 bytes in size (see attachment). a.pdf has plenty of OCR text and cut-and-paste copies plenty of good-looking text. I don't know how a.pdf was originally created, but in any event export of text should produce something better than this I think.

  10. The redaction properties allow you to specify custom "overlay text" on redaction marks.
This request is to add a feature for "overlay image" to have an image included on the redaction marks.
    Thanks

  11. Brief title: above
Steps to reproduce the issue: highlight text in pdf, then write your comment ealsewhere (I am working parallel in Libreoffice comments). Copy the comment from there and paste it in the comment in Acrobat. It is there but invisible! I tried cmd + shift + v, tried Cmd + shift + alt + v, both of which usually work to paste simple text, but it won't paste anything.
Environment (OS, mac Os Sonoma 14 other related application versions, etc.)
    Version: 7.5.7.1 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community
    Build ID: 47eb0cf7efbacdee9b19ae25d6752381ede23126
    CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 14.0; UI…

  12. I want to have an image set at 5.5in by 4.25. I have created that with photoshop. When I move that image that is in my desired size, it will resize into something that I don't want in acrobat. Images going into acrobat shouldn't resize.

Or let me resize the canvas in Acrobat.

  14. The latest feature upgrade removed the ability to send a signed copy of a document ("copy to"). Now the only options available are signer and approver. The receiving party is neither a signer or an approver, so this has doubled my workflow and created an inefficiency. I now have to generate a second email with the signed copy to send to my recipient, separate from the signature process. PLEASE add this feature back. What you have done is NOT an improvement.

  15. I would like to insert an image from my iPad (take a photo) and then put it on a pdf. I would also like to be able to access it later on my desktop. This would be perfect for field construction

  16. Steps to reproduce the issue:

    1. In InDesign, create an A4 page with a full-page image rotated at an angle of about 2 degrees.
    2. Export PDF compatibility Acrobat 4, (PDF 1.3)
    3. Load into Adobe Acrobat.

The same error occurs on both Windows and MacOs.

For illustration I send screenshot: on the left image rendered by Apple Preview, on the right Adobe Acrobat.

Expected result: Adobe Acrobat will display the image without artifacts, just like Apple Preview.

  17. I am creating a fillable PDF and the users need to be able to add an image. I tried using "Add an Image Field" with Prepare Form, but the users are unable to add the image when they open the PDF in Mac Preview. Most of our clients use Mac Preview to open and fill PDFs we need to make this compatible!

  19. We have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on all our user machines.

For the people with a license we let them log in so they can use the Pro features.
For the people without a license we let them use this version as a Reader.

This worked out great, but now we found out a bug.

With Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when adding a signature image I go to "E-Sign" > "Fill & Sign Yourself" > "Sign" > "Add Signature" > "Image" > Browse to the image signature (.PNG) > Click OK

And we receive a warning "You…

  20. When you open an image only PDF Adobe should provide notification that it is an image only PDF. We are paperless and assume all documents save to our DMS are Searchable. If one is saved that is not searchable, it can be difficult to find. Kofax Power PDF provides a yellow notification bar indicating it's image only so our users were able to OCR it. This would be a welcome feature of Adobe Pro.
