Right-click > Mark as Checked
In Acrobat 9, it was very easy to mark a comment as checked. You simply right-clicked on it and chose "Mark with Checkmark." Alternatively, there were also two different places in the Handy Commenting Toolbar to mark the comment as checked.
Sadly, in Acrobat X and going forward, the right-click > Mark as Checked feature was removed, as was the handy Commenting toolbar. So now the only way to mark something as checked is in the giant comment list (which is now by default vertical, as opposed to horizontal.
Instead, Acrobat has moved the only option for commenting over to the comments pane. So in order to mark a comment as checked, you always have to have the comments pane open. But if you need to use other tools in Acrobat during the course if commenting, you'll have to keep switching back and forth to get to the Comments PAIN.
To make matters worse, the checkbox is only visible if you have the comment selected. So if I need to check off a bunch of comments at once, I have to select a comment, then check it off, then select the next comment, then check it off.
But the contrast is so low between the selected comment and the unselected comments that it's often hard to find the right one in the comments pane. Plus, the colors in the comments pane have absolutely nothing to do with the colors of the comments themselves. In Acrobat DC, each AUTHOR gets a different color in the comments pane. The comments pane totally disregards the color of the comment itself.
Please Add "Mark as Checked" back to the right click contextual menu.

Why did you change the tool section, I have to make 3 tomes as many steps now to find all the tools I use to have right on the toolbar?
Allow us to put the tools back on the tool bar without having to click on tools we don't need
6 votesHello Wayne
You can just add the more frequently tools to the Quick Tools on top. Alternately you can just search for the tool you need in the Search box in Right Hand Panel.
Please let us know if this helps.

Highlighting key & search
I know how to set a default color for highlighting, and how to select from multiple colors. HOWEVER, I would like to be able to assign each color a name (ex. Dark blue = Main arguments. Light blue = supporting info. Green = Concepts). I would like these color and titles to appear in a key that I could continue to choose from easily. Then I would like to be able to search by color/issue. (Ex. If I searched for green/concepts it would show me all the text highlighted in green together). As a student and a professional this would save A LOT of time.

Headings are not being shown in the TURO tool after saving as a tagged PDF from Word
The document is being tagged, perhaps properly, but it is impossible to tell using the TURO tool when showing structure types. In the Tags pane, headings are shown as H1, H2, etc in the actual tags, but whether the TURO tool is on when the Order or Tags panel is active, these show up as text (P).
I've never seen this problem before and suspect it has to do with a recent update/release.3 votesHi,
I have shared your concerns to the Engineering team. We don’t have immediate plan for this but we have kept this in their radar and you may see it fixed in future releases. Thanks

Margin Controls bug
In the Set Page Boxes dialog, under Margin Controls, when you use the
Apply to: dropdown to switch among boxes, the top, bottom, left and right values do not update to the selected box. For instance, if I change the values for the TrimBox only, then select Bleed Box, the values I just entered display for BleedBox. however, the calculated Cropped Page size for the BleedBox correctly does not include the margins I entered under TrimBox.I also found that if I choose CropBox again, which in my sample case has all zeroes in the margin fields, the values restore to zero. Then I can click on BleedBox and see the correct all zero values. Switching back to TrimBox locks the values in again.

Editing feature is slow and choppy
I am trying to edit a scanned in PDF in which i highlight the necessary details as i put them into an autocad drawing. Every time i need to move around the page it is choppy, and every time i want to highlight one detail, the software stops and has to load (sometimes saying 'Not Responding') and takes anywhere from 5 to almost 30 seconds to recognize the command i want, and execute it, every. single. time. This is ridiculous, and wastes useful time in completing my work.

Improved scanning process.
Preprocces to recognize features of forms such as boxes with or without checks and the boxes around fields.
I scan image documents to be able to search for technical reviews or to export them to excel, access, or word. Current situation: On forms empty or full check boxes are frequently recognized as text and the text is wrong and takes a long time to correct. The same occurs with text near boundaries around form fields. If form type features such as check boxes and field boundaries can be recognized by a scanning algorithm very different from the small box scan process used to recognize text. If done many non text pixels can be removed from the pixels for the text scan eliminating many errors and speeding the text scan process. The orie3ntation information from the form features may also contribute to make text scaning more accurate. There is perhaps in the current text scan process many lines of code devoted to difficulty caused by non-text form artifacts. Knowledge of form boundaries can also contribute to the recognition process. Some non text blobs and imperfections located too near the boundaries ought to contribute to the presumption the it is non-text. Horizontal field lines can contribute to the likelihood estimate that some unknown blob is text if that possible text is at a 15 degree angle or more to the box orientation. I am attaching an image showing my version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I do wuiswh to end saying this is a fantaqstic prodiuct already and has improved a great deal since I first started using Acrobat.

Can we have the old one back. This is too cumbersome.
So hard to use and wastes so much of my time looking for things.
I just need the preview/navigator on the side so I can rotate or crop and a highlighter in the tools and the hand to move the page around. Every time I open a file it defaults back to nothing I can use. Please bring back version 109 votes -
add comment shortcut on the toolbar
Add "VIEW COMMENTS" shortcut to toolbar?
- Is this gone? I can't seem to find where to add it PERMANENTLY.
- We use Acrobat for proofing and I have to reopen the "view comments" on EVERY FILE our to see any corrections listed in the comment boxes.7 votes -

In Team licensing, activations should be linked to a combination key of emailId and computer name or someother unique key parameter
The team license has an assumption:
One license can be assgined to one "emailId", which can be activated across two computers.PROBLEM:
Consider a person who has 4 computers, all of them belong to the same person (same EMAIL ID).
In the admin console the admin assigns 2 licenses to same "email Id".The user activates 2 out of 4 computers with one license.
Next, upon trying to activate the 3rd computer with the second license with the same "email Id", the activation fails. This is an incorrect licensing design.
Idea state: Even in a non-commercial team license situation, the serial number must be generated to uniquely identifying the installation. This unique installation must be validated against the acceptable number of activations and then authenticated.
The authentication cannot be based on the EMAIL IDs.

5 votesHi,
Thanks for the feedback. I will put forward your feedback to concerned team.
There is a workaround for your issue to use email alias for the same email ID. For example in gmail user has ability to create aliases as youremailid+account1@gmail.com, youremailid+account2@gmail.com and mails sent to anyone of these will land in youremailid@gmail.com. Something like these can be setup for your teams. And, you can use above two “different” email ids as two Adobe IDs for the same person.
Thanks,

Warning when closing multiple tabs in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC should give a warning message that multiple tabs are being closed. This helps just in case the user has inadvertently entered a keyboard command (like Command-Q in macOS) instead of pressing Command-tab to switch to another open application.

Since we Haven’t Heard back from you for so long, We are closing this issue.
Please feel free to reach out to us for any other concerns if you have,
