Ineffeciency of update
A week or so ago, I went to prepare Adobe documents as per usual. Apparently an update was done. This update has severely slowed down my productivity. When I combine pages to create a document, I have to wait for Adobe to recognize the pages. Once that happens, I have to click on "save". Then I'm required to re-name the document (click and drag over the name given by Adobe) and click "save". Previously I could name the document while it was merging and could hit my enter button on the keyboard instead of having to use the mouse to…

Restore Fill & Sign to desktop version of Adobeep1gd@@r
Fill & sign is not available on the downloaded version of Acrobat on my new computer, despite being on the latest version on my old one. I have tried adding it to the tool bar (using the pen nib icon), but it does not show when I save the toolbar.
This means that the only option to sign documents through the desktop version is via a certificate which requires one to sign up to a paid subscription option, or by creating a digital certificate which is long-winded and time-consuming.
Fill & Sign is available on the online version, but…1 vote -

AI has ruined your whole desktop app
These constant prompts to use AI have totally ruined Adobe Acrobat for me. They're disruptive. Also, my workplace uses Acrobat for sensitive work documents - we are required to maintain confidentiality - I can't risk potentially having AI trained on my documents. I'm saying goodbye to Adobe Acrobat permanently, and using Xodo moving forward instead. Xodo is not shoving AI at me daily. I'll be encouraging my whole office to switch too. See ya!

Since Update 18.11.2003x - Cannot open PDF - asking for Password
Multiple Users - Multiple PDF files. Mixed Windows 7 32/64bit and 10. All versions of Adobe Acrobat DC. Since the update 18.11.2003x when opening a PDF within IE it's asking for a password. Chrome is not an option.
Our current workaround is removing all adobe apps and reinstalling before the update. Then disabling the auto update.
Looking for long term solution.3 votesRight status is Implemented. Resolved is used when we resolve an issue with help, educating the user, providing workaround etc. Actual work from our side in this case – hence Implemented.

REVERTING MENU SETTINGS OF TOOLS DURING AN UPDATE = REALLY BAD
Reverting the menu settings for the TOOLS to the users settings after an update.
-should be done as part of each update.
-put as an obvious option when exiting any setup of tools in the menu system to backup the registry somewhere as i have just now been advised of. really not a good option.want a reason for this, arrange for more feedback with me.

New update has glitches with split screen
After latest update, when creating a PDF, the program switches screens. I have split screens for a reason. I want Adobe to STAY on the screen I have it on. Very annoying. This did not happen before the update.

Ctrl-F feature broken in new update
When perusing a PDF file, using the Ctrl-F feature to search the file for a word or phrase causes the entire program to shut down completely. Started on new update yesterday for the PRO DC Version 17.012.20098 update.

Bug Report: Cannot select first page of a multi-page PDF as icon for a button
This is a bug report for Acrobat Pro 2017.
When creating a new form "button" with an icon appearance, it is not possible to select the first page of a multi-page PDF as the icon image.
- Create a new button field
- In the Properties dialog box for the button choose the Options tab
- Choose "Icon only" from the layout dropdown list
- Click the Choose Icon button and select a multi-page PDF
- Try to select the first page of the PDF as the icon image.
- Only the 2nd or later page can actually be selected (even though the first page…

This update sucks
The sidebar pops up EVERY time I try to do something and I can't see the file! WHY??? My job is infinitely harder because of this. I also can't use the Ctrl S function to save. This is literally maddening.

Enable Adobe Pro 2020 perpetual to automatically select PDF icon for imbedded PDF documents in Microsoft Word
It would be helpful to have Adobe Pro 2020 default to the PDF icon when inserting a PDF as an object and then displaying as an icon in Microsoft Word.
It is possible to search for the icon and set it manually but it will always default back to C:\Windows\System32\ole32.dll, making the user have to manually set the icon every time.
Thank you

Fluent Icon design for Microsoft Office add-ins on Windows
The Acrobat section in Microsoft Word's ribbon uses icons that do not match the native design on Windows or Microsoft Office. A new icon set would look nice. It's just a few icons, so it would not be a lot of work.

STOP Surreptitiously Installing McAfee on Automatic Update
While the fact that Adobe provides McAfee security for free as part of Acrobat is nice for those that want it, those of us that don't should not be forced to have it installed. Personally I hate McAfee. I use a different company for my computer/internet security and it's expensive, so when McAfee self-downloads and declares itself the default security system on my computer it makes me very unhappy.
Basically I just wasted a bunch of time and money because I thought I had the Yahoo search redirect virus on my computer. Turns out even though I had uninstalled McAfee…
