"Auto detect pen hardware to enable markup" missing from settings
That setting is missing for one user and present for a newly created user.
How do we get it back? When it's missing, the use of pen-based entries is horrible. When it's present the pen-based activity is fine.2 votes -
Pop ups
Stop putting advertising throughout the Adobe suite, and get rid of all the pop-ups that are slowing me down and bloating the software. I pay for a subscription and do not need your horrible "suggestions" - I just want working software. I am sick to death of closing random pop-ups and suggestions I never asked for.

Why can't I copy the text just as it is in my original document?
I am trying to copy both Thai text and Burmese text from a Pdf document. But these are not recognized languages in this Adobe program so it tries to copy them as English and makes a mess of them. Why can't the text be copied over as it appears in the original document? Then, I could use Google translate to change that into English. There is no need for Adobe to recognize the language being copied, just copy it exactly as it is in the original document.

Text Box Formatting Errors-Acrobat automatically changes/combines existing text boxes
The link above is where this conversation is listed. You need to fix this. It makes everyone who uses your program angry and it messes up so many documents. It's ridiculous trying to do anything with it because it automatically chooses to move where the text boxes are when created in Acrobat. It's not acceptable to just say this is not an editing program. It doesn't matter. The product you provide does not fulfill the needs of your customers and it is causing MAJOR issues when trying to do just about anything related to text boxes.

Update/republish shared document with SAME link
We need to be able to replace a shared document with an updated version, without sending out a fresh set of links to everyone.
In a collaborative process, where a document is getting lots of review comments, eventually it becomes crowded and it's time to take on all the comments and republish version 2 (or 3 etc).
Acrobat Pro DC does not allow this. We have to issue every reader with new links - this is tedious and error-prone for the document creator, and confusing for the recipients.
I tried deleting pages and replacing them with new ones -- but…

"Read Only" message cannot be closed
When I open a document, a blue bar with a "Read Only" message is displayed near the top and the only way to close it is to click "Enable Editing". Older versions allowed the bar to be closed by clicking the "i" icon on the left (what an idiot had such stupid idea???).
BTW, what editing??? Which part of the word "Reader" don't you understand? Adobe Reader is a tool for viewing documents, not editing them!!!

CHANGE THE USER INTERFACE BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION
I detest this radical change in your user interface for Acrobat. You have destroyed a good product that I use dozens of time a day. There is zero benefit for me from the messed up interface and all manner of difficulty.

I cannot stand the new Acrobat DC menu system
Acrobat Pro used to be one of my favourite apps. Now it is slow and unwieldy. It grinds on RAM. I absolutely hate the new user interface. I loved it 1x version back. With all the unnecessary additions this behemoth is an ugly horrendous brute. Please just bring the last interface back!!!

Adobe hates users
Adobe clearly hates users and wants all subscribers to go away. Garbage UI that has only gotten worse over the years. Less usable, less functional, more cluttered up with trash that doesn't work. Thanks for nothing.

malware
I did NOT give this app permission to install McAffee Malware on my PC! This is absolutely unacceptable. I will be uninstalling immediately. Very poor business practice from Adobe. McAffee is notorious for being garbage, bloated software. I won't do business with a company that puts it's users intentionally at risk. I'll be cancelling my creative cloud subscriptions and my company will look elsewhere as well.

bug
Huge resource hog and cannot export Combine PDFs. Go to save and a blank window appears. Adobe DC is a piece of garbage. I've seen nothing but problems after XI. It's gotten slower, more buggy and the interface and process of using is even more cumbersome than ever. If your idea was to cause more users to spend more time on your software... good job! Mission accomplished! Now I need a solution since you've totally ruined me being able to use it for anything. Oh, but I pay for keeping it updated.

Is there a possibility to load the old menu from Acrobat X?
I would like to load the old menu from Acrobat X, is that a possibility?
Or could we have the choice of installing X instead of DC in the creative cloud subscription.
On a side note: the Moran who changed the menu should be fired...1 vote -

I have a defective PDF (downloaded).
I got a garbage Word docx back from export (attached). When I paste a copied line into MS Word the font is 1 point. But it prints OK.
Is there a way to detect the problem and repair it?1 vote -
New design feels like something programmers did to justify having jobs. It's terrible.
I have reverted to the original for now, but if forced to permanently switch to the new look, I will stop paying for it. Not sure how rearranging everything and hiding some tools is supposed to make thing more efficient. I don't think I have ever witnessed such a terrible "update" to any program ever. My idea is to fire whoever's idea it was to do the redesign.

AutoSave is horrible on macOS — edits persist for days, then are permanently lost
I edited a PDF in Adobe Acrobat on macOS over 10 days.
My changes consistently persisted when I closed and reopened the file, including across app restarts. Because of this, I reasonably assumed the file was being auto-saved or at least checkpointed. However, when I eventually closed the document and selected “Don’t Save”, all edits from the entire period were permanently lost. There was no recovery option, no AutoSave file, and no previous version available.
What’s confusing is that the app does retain edits for days, which strongly suggests they are saved somewhere. There is no indication that these changes…

scanning
I normally have to scan 5 to 8 pages with OCR using the feeder on an HP9015E printer. Why not have a one page setup and then one scan button.
Try it sometime yourself. It is a real mess especially with the auto bed option instead of a setup for the feeder.

Why does Acrobat default my phone pic to an unusable zoom level? Cannot save to single page view.
Import a jpg from phone. Creates pdf so big i have to mess with zoom continually. Adobe used to just have it as a single page view regardless. What am I missing?

Large comment list makes Acrobat unusable
A document with over 1000 comments become completely unusable because of lag. Even when creating an archive version.
Creative Cloud has become a disaster.
