  1. When on-boarding new customers, it is required to receive backing data for identification purposes as part of anti-money laundering requirements. Currently, this is not allowable via the Adobe Sign service when requiring a form to have a signature. It would be extremely useful for this to be available within the financial services sector and I am sure many other service organisations. Should you require further clarity, I am more than happy to assist.

  2. A back button (while saving your changes) would be so helpful! There have been instances on a document where I forgot to add two signers and have to start completely fresh after adding all the signature spots! OR if you miss the step of adding a password at the beginning step, you have to start all over again!

  3. The doc comparison needs to be improved. It doesn't recognize that hyphenated words are in-fact the same words. I have an example but am unable to upload a screenshot.

  4. We need to be able to replace a shared document with an updated version, without sending out a fresh set of links to everyone.

In a collaborative process, where a document is getting lots of review comments, eventually it becomes crowded and it's time to take on all the comments and republish version 2 (or 3 etc).

Acrobat Pro DC does not allow this. We have to issue every reader with new links - this is tedious and error-prone for the document creator, and confusing for the recipients.

I tried deleting pages and replacing them with new ones -- but…

  5. Please incorporate a language translator into your application, similar to the many web browsers have, it would be a really useful and beneficial application for all users. Thanks and regards.

  6. I would like to view documents designed with a cover and spreads as two up. There is a two up option currently, but I want it to ignore the cover.

Currently you can only do this by changing the document settings, saving, quitting and reopening it.

I don't want to edit the document to change the view, and I am unable to do so with restricted files.

  7. For the millions of corporate/government users who use Microsoft Windows, the taskbar is near black. The new Adobe Acrobat (black) logo is difficult to quickly identify. Perhaps a different color would be ideal, maybe a light gray?

  8. In the Adobe SDK Extension to the PDF (ISO32000) standard, Extension Level 3, there are several Array structures that encode a series of control points for Geospatial measurement.

In particular, we are interested in the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays in the Geospatial Measure Dictionary.

Since the elements of these arrays are PDF number objects, we can only expect a limited amount of floating-point precision to be preserved by PDF reader implementations (which typically represent PDF number objects as either 32-bit integers or 32-bit IEEE 754 single-precision floating point). This amount of precision is often insufficient for workflows that involve recovering…

  9. The form below is an Adobe PDF printout from an Excel spreadsheet. For some reason, fill & sign always adds unwanted, mandatory fields to my document, they just appear, and I have to delete them every time. I send this form for signature dozens of times per week, so this is becoming more time consuming the more I use fill and sign. Your help with this bug would be most appreciated.

  10. Would love for alt text to be part of the searchable text in Acrobat's "Find" function—whether that's alt text that's been added in Acrobat as a tag or has been set up prior in another program (like INDD).

    Hi,
Thanks for connecting with us. We have taken you suggestion and we have kept it in our radar. Currently we do not plan to implement it in near future but you may see it coming in future releases.

    Thanks
    Rachit

  11. Currently when you have more than one thing opened and you want to get back to it and you don't have Adobe open it brings up all your tabs and then you have to click on the specific one. I want to have an option that allows you to just click on the program and for it to open right away on the last tab you were on rather than having that extra step of clicking on the specific PDF ever time

  12. I have a lot of documents to scan, save, and upload and I wish that Acrobat DC would put a little confirmation box so I can remember if I have performed the OCR already, because for some reason it is easy to forget and there seems to be no way to confirm the OCR has been performed and no way to set Acrobat to provide such confirmation.

  13. A page-wide reticle centered at the pointer location to easily read plot axes. Especially useful to digitize graph data.

Extra feature: Click, and the reticle stays centered there, allowing one to zoom in/out to read axis for instance. Click again to free the reticle.

Extra feature: Angle of the reticle should be customizable in the case of tilted scanned documents. Width of the reticle line as well, why not :)

  14. It would be very useful to be able to scroll 2 pdfs simultaneously as in office tools.
Best would be to be able to scroll side by side with the possibility to do it Synchronously or not (in case of different number of pages).

  15. We get documents form a few of our clients in metric sizes. But we only print in English sizes. "Fit' or "shrink to fit" in the print screen works but it alters the sizes of the text and results in off center paragraphs and blocks of text.
Would be nice if we could just go to a tool that would reposition the images and text to fit on standard English sizes.

An alternate solution might be if we could reflow the text onto blank standard sheets (and resize images with handles) as needed.

  16. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - crashes on me occasionally, despite upgrading RAM on ThinkPad to 32GB. Sometimes unsaved files will reopen, but not always. I read online that a temporary folder is created. Why does it delete itself when you close Adobe? Defeats the purpose of saving back-up file.

  17. In MS word or ppt, if you click 2 hypens -- and then a space, it turns the 2 hyphens into an em dash. In google docs, you have to select substitutions and find the right dash (it's a pain, but you can do it). In Acrobat, I want to insert an em dash and I can't see how to do it, so I'm stuck using 2 hyphens -- and it looks very unprofessional.

  18. Hyperlinks that span more than one line create multiple OBJR tags.
Reproduce: Create file in InDesign with links that span more than one line. Export to PDF/open with Acrobat. Find tag. Link will have two OBJR tags (or more if the link spans more than two lines). This is a bad experience for users of assistive technologies.
Sometimes manually fixing tags (deleting old links and creating new OBJR tag) isn't sufficient and designer has to resort to editing in the content pane or even using the Actual Text override to get the link to be read by assistive technology properly.…

  19. Lightroom needs to bring back the function that allows you to organise your presets into folders. I currently have hundreds of presets from different creators and they're all jumbled up in a complete mess and I have to scroll through every single one to find the one I want. This needs to be prioritised as it's slowing down workflow for I imagine thousands of people.

  20. Frequently receive a message from Windows Security as "Unauthorized changes blocked"
Controlled folder access blocked C:/Pro.../ETD_GetSMART.exe from making changes to memory"
Could you help me informing what is that and what to do?
