  1. When using the Geospatial Distance Tool with certain files, Acrobat sometimes goes into a busy state (dimmed window, spinning cursor) for long periods of time.

If you wait, it eventually comes back, but it can be a long wait in certain cases. I have two files that cause this problem.

Worth noting: if you turn off 'Path Intersections' in the 2D Snap Settings preference group, the issue still happens, but is greatly reduced.

  2. This is challenging, but I'm sure you could manage:
Many texts that I need to OCR have been scanned from books, so the text is curved. Right now, Acrobat only recognises text in straight lines, so it jumps lines when highlighting and copying text.Would be great if Acrobat Pro could judge, e.g. by analyzing the borders of text boxes, that lines of text are not perfectly straight.

  3. Unable to get or publish comments to Adobe Shared Review PDF on SharePoint 365 with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

    Details:
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20064

When I open Shared Review PDFs hosted on SharePoint 365 I see the message:

    • Could not get new comments. Adobe Acrobat did not get a response from the server.

    • Adobe Acrobat cannot connect to the Review Server: 13.107.136.9

This appears to be the same error and message other users are reporting since October 2018 when setting up new Shared Review PDFs using SharePoint & Adobe Acrobat DC. Any updates on this would be…

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for reporting the issue and apologies for the inconvenience caused.
We have been working on this and let you know once we plan to deliver the fix.

    Regards,
    Arvind

  4. Hello,

Adobe products have different ways to zoom the document in or out. One classical way is holding Ctrl-key an pressing + (plus) oder - (minus) for zooming in and out or 0 (zero) for fit to screen. This is still working in Indesign and Photoshop, but not anymore in Acrobat. There are no reactions to +/-, and with 0 the document will be zoomed in but not fit to screen. Can you fix that please?
    Thank you!

  6. Your SAAS model is a crock, but your persistent tracking is worse. It is absolutely offensive that you will charge me again and again while simultaneously disabling the program because I don't want to sign in again and again. I've started looking for your replacement.

  7. We need a keyboard shortcut for "go to the next sticky note." This would prevent my having to scroll through the comments pane if I have a lot of callouts and text boxes (in addition to sticky notes).

Sorting the comments doesn't work; I need to be able to see the text boxes and callouts as I'm reviewing the sticky notes.

  8. After I fill in and sign the document, it won't save. The circle just spins forever until I eventually give up. Now I have to physically print the document and then scan it in, very frustrating and costing me time.

    Hi,

Thanks for writing to us. In order to better understand the issue can you please provide the following details:

    1. Version of your Acrobat.
    2. Are you observing the continuous circle on the save dialog or somewhere else? It will be great if you can share a screenshot.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  9. I am unable to "save as" since the most recent update. I use Windows 10 Pro. My expected result is that I can "save as" rather than the white screen I get when I try to "save as"

  10. Adobe, read this:
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/Acrobat-DC-SO-HORRIBLE-it-s-making-me-want-to-cry/m-p/7112272#M21086

Legendary thread with tens of thousands of reads and hundreds of likes https://i.imgur.com/AebZBGE.png

Then work hard for at least 3 years and come back with usable software.

Acrobat and Reader DC are pure junk, particularly compared to a competitor who in the meantime is at least an order of magnitude better. Yes, that's 1000%.

If you guys don't know which competitor I'm talking about, then you deserve all the more to become a footnote in history.

  11. It is nearly impossible to find some tools in the Tool groups, as they are frequently grouped in a way that is not intuitive. Searching for a tool such as "Zoom" would greatly enhance the customization of my Acrobat product for the things I frequently need.

  12. the recent update in October 2019 removed the multi-file sharing option which seriously decreased the convenience of Adobe Acrobat for our office. We are all very upset about the removal of this. we now need to utilize 3rd party file sharing services and we no longer need to subscribe as many account due to the removal.

    please bring it back ASAP?

    thank you
    Ariel

  13. Adobe currently has capabilities to send forms via e-mail, but this feature would also be terrific to have to send via text.

  17. When trying to add Korean text to a document, the text first appears in tiny text in the corner of a popup box that stretches across the bottom of the screen. Only after one character block is finished will it appear where you are trying to place it in the page.

It's apparent that the intent of this feature is to allow you to review what you're typing. However, the popup appearance does not seem to be customizable in any fashion, and the text is TINY. The effect is hugely distracting, painful to try to read, and beyond frustrating to…

  20. Currently the Adobe Acrobat add-on for Microsoft Outlook leverages the "received date" to timestamp the messages. It would be nice to have the option to use the "sent date" of the message instead for the timestamp. There are instances during email migrations where the top level received date header gets updated to the new mail system it got migrated to. When that happens, the received date changes on the message in Outlook. When organizations are providing PDFs for public records requests or legal requests, the queries in the ediscovery tools search by the "Sent" date of the message. Generally with…
