  1. Return Menu Tools to the Side where they belong. They are next to useless now. Put actual menu items under the menu drop-downs instead of extra steps to open what should be a drop-down. Sorry - I hate the new look. Hate it. I should not have to navigate away from a page I'm working on in order to get to tools. I should not have to spend half an hour to discover you apparently no longer have this option. Security tools, if still in existence, should be obvious.

  2. using saveAs in Adobes JavaScript, e.g.:
    this.saveAs(arrDocPath.join("/"));

… results in the attached error message, if path or filename contains exclamation mark (!) or dollar sign ($) – both valid characters in all leading operation systems.

Using GUI for saving of course is possible. You have got reported an adequate problem with commas 2009 which has been fixed nine years later. Would be nice, if fixing this problem would be possible some faster.

Please let me also express my astonishment, that while fixing the comma problem nobody seemed to check other – from operation systems point of view also valid –…

  5. In Forms having a signature that requires a save every time is too much when their is multiple signatures especially when the form does not change between signing. the fill and sign is better however it does not work with the button reset a form. So having a field form similar to the text but allows the user to write by pen or finger that is also clear able should be an option.

  6. Alt-Tab should switch between EACH PDF, not just the application. (Like other apps such as Word, and many many others. You are just not that important, just another viewer. Adobe is not a main application that people use, just a utility, so make it fast or it will be replaced.

  7. I need to make transparent buttons with HTML links in most of my documents. Someone forgot to program this in the DC version.
Create a square button and set the line and fill to transparent. Please fix! It is causing a host of issues for us.

  8. Please create a 64-bit version of the Adobe Acrobat Professional for the Windows platform. I work with adobe files that are greater than 10,000 pages quite frequently and although my computer has 24 gigabytes of DRAM, the program cannot utilize my computer. For example, I have legislative transcripts that I compile by the session, and I would like to be able to use a single PDF file while doing my research.

Please, give us Windows users the type of PDF performance found on Macs.

    Thank you.

You may be getting this error because the same pdf file is currently open in some other program e.g. it may be open in browser or some email Clint

Requesting you to close other application and again try this scenario.
Please get back to us if you again face the same issues.

  10. I would like to protect our company reports from being edited (mainly text), however, I would like my clients to be able to combine our report into their appendices.

  11. I couldn't export a document I had just opened in Acrobat Pro DC. But it wouldn't do anything, not even a dialog to let me know what the next step or requirement would be.

  12. It would be helpful to be able to resize the Button Properties window in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Currently the window barely has enough room to display the contents. Resizing would help allow for much quicker form preparation workflows, for example, making the window larger could help minimize the need to constantly use the scrollbars in the Actions tab.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Kindly share with us your machine details and Acrobat version.
Also please provide us some sample files and a screenshot of the exact error

  17. I'm unable to print any pdf files from Acrobat DC to the local network printers. I receive errors: "the document could not be printed" and "an error occurred while printing the document". I am able to print to the printers from other programs. I've been able to print pdfs from Acrobat DC to printers in the past.

  19. I use the Adobe Acrobat DC to secure it with password so I can prevent the document from being copied or edited. However, when I upload it to Google Drive, it can turn into an EDITABLE document on One single Click. What is the use of this type of encryption?

Is there a way that I am missing out on that can help achieve secure the document from being copied or edited with such ease because I haven't found any.

    Thanks

  20. Please make it easier to move text. I have spent hours (and am developing RSI) trying to move text that I have moved before - it takes dozens/hundreds of clicks to get the box around the text to show sufficiently to grab it and move it. I spent the $$ for AA Pro DC, so thought such a basic thing would have been fixed .... Please let me know when it is fixed so that I can edit my document without wasting any more time - I have a week or so before it goes to the printers ... Thanks
