  3. Its a Bug.
    After saving an excel or PDF, Firefox tries to open it. I have to go to info and change the app to Acrobat...again and again, even after setting the preference.

  4. Want to selectively delete individual lines from the RECENT LIST without deleting the actual files from my HD or Document Cloud. As it stands now the Recent List gets so long as to be a nuisance. At least allow clearing items after a certain period of time.

    Please try the following steps after updating your Acrobat to the latest version:
    1. On the recent file list, Select the individual files using the check mark on the left.
    2. After the selection you’ll see the option “remove from recent” on the right, select the same.

  5. I absolutely hate the new email sharing. The previous version was so simple! This one is slow, cumbersome and often crashes. Give us the old way!!!

  6. Since "upgrading" to Mohave, I simply cannot get my Adobe Acrobat Professional to open. I get the spinning beach ball for several minutes (yes minutes). I then check Force Quit and invariably, Adobe Acrobat Professional is "not responding". Adobe says the two are compatible, but I do not think so.

  7. Why can't we email from the PDF like we use to. If I pull up a PDF and want to email it to another person it does NOT give me access to our Outlook email contacts to select a person to choose from. It only give me our internal email addresses. No Bueno. What am I doing incorrectly if it is still an option.

  8. Using Acrobat PRO DC 19.008.20074
    When I open Adobe, Combine files, add the files I want to combine, either PDF or other word, excel, etc, click on Combine. What I end up with is a "PORTFOLIO". The thumbnails are all visible on the navigation pane but the actual PDF that was supposed to contain all the pages I just combined, there is only the first page, no other pages. I create Board packets with this feature. It has become a big headache. How do I get this to work.

  9. This new "cloud" is so horrible I don't even know where to begin. Seriously considering cancelling services. Dashboard is useless if it doesn't show who you are waiting for it to be signed by. Why does it keep defaulting back to NO FILTER after I set the filter to Waiting For Signature. There is no progress with this update at all.

Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
    Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?

  12. I always used the tick box while reviewing, using a filter so that comments I processed also disappeared. It was an easy and intuitive way of editing the source text with the help of the comments in the PDF. After the last update, the tick box is gone and now hidden. You have to click the dots in the top right corner of the comment, then select 'Set status' and then click the status. That's THREE clicks instead of one. NOT user friendly, NOT intuitive, NO improvement. Please give me back my tick box!

    Hi,
    Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Could you try the following and see if it resolves the issue:
    1. Right click on the left hand pane.
    2. Select Tags.
    3. Select the first item in the list labelled ‘Tags’.
    4. Press Delete.
    5. Now try and delete the pages.

    Also, could you send the PDF for us to analyze?

  14. While installing Photoshop and Lightroom today, the installation screen showed that I had an existing install of Acrobat DC. I've never heard of Acrobat DC... so I assumed it must be part of the Acrobat system - and I elected to update the installation by pressing the "update" button. Unbeknownst to me, it uninstalled my Acrobat Pro XI and installed a trial version of Acrobat DC.   15. Hi, Yesterday when I opened Acrobat DC, and I viewed comments, I could check off the comment as completed right there in the comment's own panel. today when I opened the same program, in order to mark a comment as completed, I have to open two levels of a flyout menu.
    How do I unbury this check box so I do not have to add twice as much clicking to my proofreading process?

  20. The GIANT icons! The in-app sending that doesn't work! The childishness of the design and interface! The distance from the powerful controls that I have come to use and count on from decades of using Acrobat pro and seeing it grow in capacity and power.

    I open this, save a document, send a document, reset the screen again to show thumbnails, I curse you all.

    How can it be both harder to use and more childish?
