  1. Sometimes I already have an underlying form in use (one that has check boxes) that I want to make fillable. Since the form already has check boxes, when I add a check box using Prepare Form, the borders can look chunky if I don't get the edges perfectly aligned. Making the fill and line transparent will still fill my underlying check box (part of the form design) but won't try to add a new box overlay.

  2. Hi! I have ADHD and dyslexia. I think it's kind of vital to improve the reading experience at the Acrobat reader. Microsoft has done a good job with the Edge epub reading features, would be nice to have some of these features to improve reading acessibility.

    1. Open this PDF in Adobe Pro
    2. See "bad stream" error.

    Any other PDF reader (Chrome, Evince, Mac Preview, GhostScript) opens it just fine, but Adobe Pro is unhappy about it.

    Is it a bug in Adobe Pro?

  4. what happened to the old mark up tools? highlight text with note, delete text (red line through), etc??
    I used those extensively previously, and this new version is pretty useless without them

    Can you use Strikethrough text or Add Note to replace text to create the red line through .
    If you have any specific requirement of a new annot , please let us know the exact use case for the same .
    If the use case is not met by existing annots, we shall add this requirement to our product backlog.

  6. Please activate forward-button (without any additional key) instead of help button to be continued with the return-key – so you can easy save the settings of the new link.
    At the moment the return-key opens the help file.

  7. Every time I open Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, I get the following error: AcroCEF.exe - Application Error. The exception unknown sofftware exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x00b6d101

  8. Add a Delete / Clear "button" .
    Sometimes, after the details have been filled out, we want to print it or just save, but we want to leave the form open for the next customer.
    Please add a visible "button" option, which will have the option to choose whether to delete the data filled out in the last box or in the entire form, so that the form is ready to be refilled.

    If you are the author of the PDF form, you can add the button with “Reset Form” using the folllowing steps

    1. Prepare Form > Add a button.
    2. Open Properties and goto Action tab
    3. Select Action – Reset a form and choose the fields you would want to reset.
    4. Close and save to have the changes applied.

    Alternatively, You can also add a reset form button with javascript:
    this.resetForm(); However, this will not allow you to choose the fields.

  10. This is currently an error that we are experiencing. We are doing shared reviews and this was working fine several weeks ago. We were able to previously send out pdf's for review but now we are receiving this error.

  11. When attempting to enter a text box in the top RH corner of a document the tool covers the area the document I am editing. Have the tools we want to use permanently displayed

    revert back to version 9 format.

    The workaround for this is to click on the text properties icon bar to hide the properties so that you can easily see the text box.
    Please let us know if this works for you.

    For the second ask, can you explain the issue again as we are not clear with the ask here.

    Hi User, Thanks for reaching out to us.
    Are you facing this issue only for highlight or for other annots as well ?

    Can you uncheck the commenting preference “Automatically open comment pop-ups for comment other than notes” and try to create another highlight. Please let us know if this resolves the issue for you.

  13. Hi,

    I have an Action Wizard doing the following:
    1. OCR
    2. Optimize
    3. Save the file
    When I run this same Action on two separate Machine against a folder with a lot of PDF files in it, after running for a while, say doing 100 - 300 files, if fails. The DC Student version gives out of memory dialog box error and stops and the Pro DC version gives a dialog box saying "There was an error opening the document...." I will attach the screen shut of the error I get.

  14. Hi,

    When including Enhance Scan in an Action Wizard and running it against a folder with Multiple files in it, repeatedly prompt and ask for the next file... I don't want to see that prompt, like when I am OCRing I can uncheck the Prompt check box...
