  1. There seems to be a bug in "Acrobat PDFMaker 17 for Word" (which does not exist in "Acrobat PDFMaker 17 for PowerPoint). The chosen "Conversion Settings" doesn't work when working in Word as shown in the attached file (and I also show that things work properly when working in PowerPoint).

    I found that copying my *.joboptions file to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2017\Acrobat\Settings\Standard.joboptions" was a workaround, but obviously there is a bug that needs to be fixed.

  2. I use Word 365 of a main docment to generate a PDF, and remediate in Acrobat DC. I have to add in pages in the fron an back of the document that comprises the front and back covers (also from Word). (The cover PDFs also pass accessibility check).

    However, when I drag one page into the Main document PDF and run the accessiblity checker, all the hyperlinks that tested OK in the main document now generate a 'tagged annotations' error.

    Normally, remediating such errors is easy: you show in the content panel, find the unmarked links/annotations and tag them appropriately.

  3. In Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 10, a text annotation could not input in 2 page layout with scroll.
    Firstly, input text with text annotaion tool to left page. Secondly, input text to right page. I could not input text to right page.

  4. When selecting text or illustrations, ACROBAT DC (v 2019.012) does not highlight anymore, instead the selected object is pixelated in seeming random colors. this makes it impossible to recognize selected text (depending on foreground/background contrast).
    particularly an issue when searching PDF and the highlights can not be seen.
    tried re-installing etc. with no success

  7. I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.
    Users have been asking about this issue for at least seven years now – what's so hard about changing the highlight color for the document (again, NOT my personal settings)? I can change the text and box color once the field is selected, but the default box…

  9. Drag and drop an open (pdf) file by dragging the Tab to attached one or more open pdfs mutliple pdfs in Acrobat Pro DC to an open email instead of the 12 step program you have OVER designed now

  10. When distributing an Adobe Form, I check the box, "Collect name and email address." The user submits the form, but includes commas in the Name box. The data goes into the Adobe response file just fine. But when exporting to csv, the "From" column doesn't include enclosing quotes. So the columns get shifted.

  11. I have a Microsoft Word file that has a number of images. I need to make an accessible PDF. I have entered alternate text for each image in MS Word. When I convert the Word file to PDF, the alternate text I had entered in MS Word is carried over to the PDF, which is what I want. The problem is that it puts all images/figures at the beginning of the tag tree no matter where the image comes in the document. When I look at the Reading Order for each page, it puts all images as the last item…

  15. We were able to switch between different views in a portfolio through the options available in menu bar in Acrobat XI

    Acrobat Pro 2017 does not offer that shortcut. (atleast I have not been able to find it)
    Now the long procedure requires me to go View>Portfolio>Details/Layout

    whereas

    Acrobat XI has those buttons right on top by the name (1) Layout and (2) Files

    Is there anyway to have this feature enabled? or can Adobe include it in its next update

  16. When I select the drop-down arrow next to the bullet section (to select an alternative bullet design, like a check mark for example), my Acrobat immediately crashes. I have tried restarting my computer, but this seems to be a persistent bug.

    Environment: Windows 10 Pro using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
    Expected result: Select drop-down and be presented with alternative bullet designs.
    Observed result: Acrobat immediately crashes without saving my work.

  19. I am able to select/interact with the geospatial data in my individual Geospatial PDFs using the Object Data Tool. But once I combine 2 or more of the Geospatial PDFs, using the Combine Files tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, the Object Data Tool no longer works and I can't interact with the underlying data anymore.

    I called Adobe Customer Service about this issue and they said that the Combine File tool was flattening out the objects in the PDF resulting in me loosing access to the geospatial capabilities. Can Adobe fix this in the next update?

  20. The new Send for Review option opens a window that blocks the PDF that I am attempting to send. When I select the send with outlook option, the window does not minimize or disappears. I need to be able to read my PDF to write a reference in my email which i am unable to do with this new feature. I will be contacting my IT department to see if i can use an earlier version so i can see the document i am attempting to send via outlook.

    Can we correct the window to not obstruct the PDF?
