1. Missing PDF display

   After the October 2018 release update, if the PDF is opened with the output preview displayed, the display is frequently lost. This has not yet been resolved in update 2019.021.20056. Therefore, PDF checking in prepress is the reason why you should use 2017 instead of DC. I think that it was a problem that can be corrected because it was displayed normally before.

   Just a button for the "Save As..." function. I use this a lot for saving files I open from email attachments.

3. Crashing

   Crashes frequently, particularly sensitive when more than 7 files open. Frequency of crashing increases to the point where it is unusable.

   Need to quickly resolve compatibility issues with Catalina, perhaps error reporting from the software would help.

4. default email application one click

   Can't seem to find a way to just use the mail icon and not have to click continue to email and attachment?
   Used to be able to click on mail icon and default email would auto-attach. this extra click is needed to select "continue" every time.

5. Acrobat removed "Add files" option to the Share feature.

   You need to add that back ASAP. As it is now, you can only share ONE file at a time.

7. Update Acrobat Pro 2019.012.20036 does not display CID identity-h fonts

   Since the Acrobat DC auto update last night to 2019.012.20036, my PDFs are not displaying any fonts.
   On closer inspection the fonts have been embedded in the documents as CID identity-h type fonts from OTF originals. I believe this has always been the case.
   Yesterday I could view the files, today all text is replaced with dots. Other people can view the PDFs correctly in Acrobat Reader. I can print on our digital press correctly. I can view the files in a browser correctly. Just cannot view them in Acrobat DC 20036. The fonts are from the Rotis Semi Sans family (RotisSemiSansStd-Regular.otf etc).
   Workaround was to downgrade back to previous version.

8. HEIC Support

   Provide support for HEIC files. This is apple's new standard and lots of clients send over these image files like jpegs that need to be inserted into my pdfs. PDF is intended to be the "universal" format so this seems like an obvious addition. Thanks!

9. No way to correct OCR errors in Acrobat pro DC

   There is a major problem with OCR in Acrobat Pro CD. I have recognized (OCR) text in many documents. They still contain a lot of recognition errors in the hidden text used for search. When I try to use the function/tool "Correct Recognized text" (translated from Norwegian), I get a message saying that there are no suspected errors. It is not possible to correct the remaining errors. This is just stupid, there is no 100% correct OCR program, there are lots of errors in the recognized text. There must be a way to fix the remaining errors, but your technical support tells me that it is not possible. Until this is fixed, I can not use the product.

10. Full Screen Enable Scrolling

    When in Full Screen, the default setting is Single Page View. There is no way to change this in Full Screen. You can change it to, say, "Enable Scrolling" before entering full screen, but once you enter full screen it will revert back to the default. Please enable a way for the user to change the default Full Screen, Page View to their personal preferences in settings.

11. Offer US federal government and military users a reduced fee adobe reader license for home use

    Given the amount of money that US government agencies undoubtedly pay for Adobe Reader DC licensing, Adobe should consider offering a reduced cost DC license for home use for military and federal employees.

    Consider following Microsoft's example.

12. tag

    I would like to add tags to PDF files that are inside of a Windows folder and be able to filter by tags.
    At the moment, the naming convention organises the PDF files in an order that is not beneficial for us.
    Can we add tags to PDF files and filter inside of a Windows folder?

    The ability for the user to change the color and brightness of the highlight when using "Find" (Ctrl F) is needed.

    In many companies, Adobe Acrobat is used to view and edit thousands of different styles of documents. In many cases, multiple colors are used in each document. These documents can have thousands of pages. The most convenient way to search for particular information is to use the "Find" (Ctrl F) tool. The highlight color that is currently used can easily blend in with the surrounding colors of the documents, making it difficult to locate the highlighted search criteria. If the color and brightness of the highlight was able to be changed by the user, they would be able to manipulate the color and brightness of the highlight to better suit their needs. This would make your product more appealing and convenient to use.

14. "Send or receive feedback fast" popup - Please Remove

    Constantly getting a huge "Send or receive feedback fast" popup near the huge blue Share button... every time I save or edit a PDF. Very very disruptive. Please allow users to disable popups such as this.

15. change highlight color

    Add the ability to change the pre-defined colors for the highlight tool. Having to highlight first, than go and change the properties of the highlighted text just to replace Adobes forced colors wastes a lot of time

17. Duplex, collate, odd-numbers of pages, and not-useful printed results

    Synopsis:
    A) Please fix duplexing such that page one of a document always begins on the front of a sheet of paper. This means a the back page of an odd-numbered document should be blank.

    B) Please let the Collate button both be visible regardless of the number of copies and let it have a default and/or remembered setting. The combination of it being initially invisible and the defaulting to the less-desirable setting results in wasted printed material.

    Detail:
    This is a consistent problem that sprung into existence about a year ago, near as I can tell on both Acrobat DC and Reader for Mac.

    OS: It occurs on every install I have (4 different Macs, various versions of OSX but reasonably updated over that timeframe).

    Printers: this occurs on every printer in the organization. All are Brother laser printers. At least 5 different models.

    Duplex printing generates output that is unexpected, and unworkably so, in these situations.

    Odd number of pages. Say you print a 3-page document, Copies = 2, Duplex on, Collate on.

    Sheet: front page/back page. Expected output from the printer:

    Sheet one: 1/2
    Sheet two: 3/blank
    Sheet three: 1/2
    Sheet four: 3/blank

    Actual output is:

    Sheet one: 1/2
    Sheet two: 3/1
    Sheet three: 2/3

    Why anyone would actually want this output is beyond me. That said, even if it was somehow desirable, why would it be the default. The only workaround I have found is to either add a blank page to the document to make it an even number of pages, or to print 1 copy many times. This is woefully inefficient.

    Collation also causes this problem. Specifically, the Collate checkbox does not appear until the number of copies is increased beyond 1. Then the Collate box appear, but always unchecked. If you do not notice this, then your duplex output will be:

    Sheet one: 1/1
    Sheet two: 2/2

    Also a wasteful default behavior, both in terms of paper and ink, but also in terms of time.

    While there might be some sensible reason for both of these behaviors, I cannot fathom it. What I do know is that they product unexpected default results that are different than how other programs print and different than how Acrobat behaved until about 1 year ago.

    Synopsis:

18. Acrobat DC Standard hangs while loading license status

    When opening any PDF, document loads in DC, then hangs for ~10s while license status is accessed. Once license status appears in lower right corner (e.g. "Your current plan is Acrobat Standard DC, annual"), app becomes responsive again.

    New issue, very annoying, please fix.

19. Preview handler in Windows 10 locks PDF files if active on windows preview pane.

    For some reason, we cannot delete PDF files store on a network because the preview handler locks the file. We have to hit the delete key which opens a windows prompt that the file is in use, then unselect the PDF file, and then click in the windows dialog to try again.

20. BUG - Converting emails to PDF does not include jpg attachments

    I updated to Adobe Pro 2017 and using Outlook 2013 with all current updates. When I use the Adobe PDF Maker in Outlook it will not include any jpeg files. I have verified the conversion settings are correct, I have even tried dragging a group of emails into "combine files" in Adobe 2017 but regardless the jpeg attachments to not transfer.
    
    PLEASE HELP - I need the complete emails with all attachments for a legal case. I even purchased evermap to convert the attachments in a portfolio to PDF so they can be bates stamped. BUT if the attachment is not included I have wasted my time and money with updates that aren't any better than the Pro XI I previously had.
