    1. You should be able to "pin" tool bars of your choosing and have them automatically be in your workspace when you open a pdf.

    This use to work and now does not. It is extremely frustrating.

    1. There are way too many clicks involved to open up the navigation pane. I should not have to memorize shortcuts to do such a simple task.

  2. Display navigation pane by default

    We still desperately need to be able to show the navigation bar by default. I understand that certain features of it may not be available due to settings in the PDF. I use this program to view 99% of the time and it's a real hassle clicking around every time, to show the thumbnails.

    Every rudimentary viewer allows thumbnails to be shown by default and I believe previous versions of Acrobat did as well.

    Please allow this navigation pane and the selected tab to be sticky.

  4. Use printer default setting for double-sided printing

    Currently Adobe Acrobat DC does not recognise if the default printer setting on my mac has been set to duplex. There is a work around. By pressing the printer button and selecting 'duplex' from the print dialogue box that is revealed, pdfs can be printed double sided (DC warns against doing this by the way). The trouble is that it is easy to forget to follow this process, particularly when I am in a hurry, with the result that pdfs, in my case often 20 or 30 pages documents, are printed single sided. This wastes paper, is environmentally unfriendly and…

  5. Show the total number of files in a PDF portfolio.

    In Adobe X the total number of files was shown on the PDF portfolio. Please include this feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

  6. I absolutely hate the AI.

    Get rid of the AI. It is disruptive, covers half the screen, and is difficult to get rid of. I keep turning it off under preferences and it keeps getting turned back on by the time I open the next document! (I recheck my preferences and it has been turned back on.) GET RID OF IT!!!!!!! Or allow it to be permanently disabled.

  7. AI has ruined your whole desktop app

    These constant prompts to use AI have totally ruined Adobe Acrobat for me. They're disruptive. Also, my workplace uses Acrobat for sensitive work documents - we are required to maintain confidentiality - I can't risk potentially having AI trained on my documents. I'm saying goodbye to Adobe Acrobat permanently, and using Xodo moving forward instead. Xodo is not shoving AI at me daily. I'll be encouraging my whole office to switch too. See ya!

  8. Bookmark Panel

    Please, please allow a feature to DISABLE the bookmarks panel. It is completely useless in most cases but always opens on every new document. I open a lot of new PDFs every day, and EVERY SINGLE ONE pops up with a bookmark panel that is useless and takes up half of the viewing pane, which I then have to close. Truly, it is enough for me to stop using this program and find any other option, even if it has fewer features. This feedback does not seem uncommon when I spent a lot of time searching around for a solution.

  9. Allow Users to manage their recipients at any point before the document is actually sent for signature

    Description: We've received feedback from our Users stating that they cannot edit recipients during signature process once they move to the Add fields and Preview section. Users are then forced to close the window and launch the signature process again to have access to the recipient's section. If there's a typo on the email, or if additional people need to be added as CC, they are not able to make the necessary corrections/additions.
    Note: This is BEFORE clicking the SEND button, in other words while preparing the document to send.

  10. Create an option (setting) to "require" fields be filled out before being returned

    It would be nice if there was an account setting so that all fields are required in a document before they can be sent back. I know it can be done on a per case basis but it would be nice if there was a deafult setting so that you do not have to check the box every time.

  11. Bookmarks Closed By Default for All Documents

  13. Adobe Acrobat PDF / Export in Word not Creating PDF's correctly

    Adobe Acrobat Export in Microsoft Word is not generating PDF's correctly.

    For example. This page did not render correctly causing information being missed.

  14. Stop What's New popup

    The 'What's New' popup occurs with every new document opened even if Adobe Pro is already running. It is horribly annoying. If it is supposed to turn off once you review the pages, that is not working. Please add a mechanism to 'turn off notification'. I assume that Adobe is not posting new features to the product every 2 minutes.

  16. Bookmark

    Wheel scrolling on bookmark pane is mandatory. Without it navigation through document is difficult. Also creating links to internal document is hampered.

  17. Repeat Field on All Pages

    In the legacy version you could right click on a field and select "repeat field on all pages". This was incredibly helpful for contracts that you need to initial each page of. In the new version that option is no longer available, creating a need to switch to the legacy version everytime you want to send a contract out via Adobe Sign.

    Option to turn off automatic optical character recognition (OCR) completely, not for each individual document.

    Every time I would like to edit a document, like insert a text line, the OCR runs and stops me from being able to work on my PDF until it is finished. When I have many pages on a document, it takes a long time and often doesn't recognise the text properly. So I don't want this running automatically. I need an option to turn it off or be able to turn it on for an individual document.
