  2. The .docx document created does not save formatting to allow updating of TOC or figures. It also removes spaces in some places. I understand from your tech support that this is not a P1 bug, but rather a feature that does not exist. This is a huge short coming as it really makes updating the document difficult. There should at least be a message warning the user that these features are not saved if one tries to export a PDF to MSW.
Also, saving changes to the now .docx document will arbitrarily remove some spaces between words

  3. After 2 years and 7 months I am just learning that I have to be signed in to use my subscription to Acrobat Dc properly. Maybe this is understood but it would have been nice if it was explained back in 2015. I have been using software that works sometime and not others. I found it hard to edit or save files at times and thought the software was a beta version (not fully tested)

  7. This is a recurring problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC: When a file is closed in Acrobat (by closing the corresponding tab), the program doesn't not release the file. As a result, the file cannot be renamed or moved until Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is closed. I have attached an image of the error dialog that pops up. This is on Windows.

Of course, this is a major inconvenience because I have many tabs open and closing Adobe merely to be able to rename a file that's no longer supposed to be open in Adobe is not something that enhances…

The error here explains that the PDF is opened in Adobe PRO.

This could be because the file is still writing the changes made in the PDF.

Could be that the file is opened from a server location/shared servers. And that the change is waiting to commit.

  8. I would like to know how to delete or hide properties in Acrobat Pro DC? For example, the dates modified, the created, and the edit time. This would be great for documents that are reused over the course of time.

  10. I fill data in a PDF form and save the changes. When I return to the document at a later stage, and make a single change, I lose all the previous data entered, only retaining the last change. It is annoying to lose all your typed data.

Luckily I save it in Dropbox, so can get back to original revisions.

  11. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is way too cumbersome. The old Acrobat Pro 9 was much more user friendly. Too much time is spent trying to find out how to work with this version.

DC is now our prime product with all the active development. Change can be a little convenient but i assure you DC will not disappoint you.

  12. Working on a MAC (mac OS High Sierra v 10.13.2 updated 12.14.17) in Acrobat Pro DC v2018.009.20050
I think this problem started right after OS update.
Open a PDF document, extract a page, and now want to save that page.
A Save As PDF window opens but it is empty and you can't do anything. If you try it too many times it will lock up acrobat and you have to force quit. Does the same thing if you want to do a save as to an existing file and rename etc. Screenshot attached.

  13. I get the confirmation licensing message after logging in, but it always stays as 'log in' on the top right instead of my name. Restarting and clicking the login box sometimes fixes it. Longterm issue.

  14. Using Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.23 (Acrobat, not Reader), our PowerBuilder 12.5 application hangs for 8-10 seconds when an OLE PDF window is closed. The same delay is seen with Reader DC 17.012.20093 and all subsequent versions but is not seen with Reader DC 17.009.20058 and older, or Reader XI 11.0.23 and older.

There seems to be some delay in the destruction of the OLE PDF viewer object; the delay can even be seen when closing a window containing an OLE PDF viewer from PowerBuilder 12.5 IDE.

  16. Text call out tool issue . After commenting on a document , the color of the call out box is changes to blue and this property made "default" through " make current property default " option. This change is valid as long as acrobat pro application remains open . When the application is restarted , the text call out box reverts back to the original properties i.e. white in color . This problem comes for the text call out tool only and other drawings markups retain their set properties even after restarting the application.

    1. Enhance multiple files at one time
    2. Add the add files/folders option to select multiple files to enhance the same way I can do so when recognizing text
    3. Saves time - since this option will add OCR it will deskew the pages at the same time

  17. The Windows properties metadata tag though not used by Adobe PDF cannot be added or changed. For other files as .jpg, MS Office this field is available in Windows Explorer and can be edited. I wish Adobe do the same with PDF in order to allow files to be searched by tags.

  19. Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1) Cleanly install Windows 7 from good media
    2) Install Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.006.30355
    3) Set Protected View to All Files
    4) Check the box for Enable Enhanced Security
    5) Observe how Protected View works in the Internet Explorer browser as shown in the below screen shot "protected view works".
    6) Turn on Internet Explorer's Enhanced Protected Mode
    7) Observe how protected view does not activate in the browser, as shown in the below screen shot "protected view fails".

Observed on Windows 7 with Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.006.30355
    and
Windows 10 with Adobe Acrobat DC…
