  1. In versions before Acrobat Pro DC you could scroll through advanced search results with the down arrow. Now you must select and click on the entry, a HUGE time waster and annoying step backward in Acrobat's functionality.

  2. Now the new update makes Reader compact and the UI looks cool. But I feel bookmarking tabs could have been placed on the left side of the screen as it makes access to it much easier. The full-screen mode has also become better.

  3. A large section of the QuickBooks community has been witnessing the QuickBooks unrecoverable errors. These errors can show up anytime while opening, saving, or printing the company files. Notably, these errors follow a ten digit pattern in which the first 5 digits are followed by 5 digits (XXXXX XXXXX).
To get a full understanding of this QuickBooks desktop unrecoverable error and the multiple walkways of fixing it, the user should read this article carefully and while scrolling through the full length of this walkthrough, perform the various solutions enclosed herein for the permanent resolution of this error.

  4. In advanced search, there is a "Sort by" feature for sorting by filename. Unfortunately, Adobe PDF's that are produced with Adobe's web conversion utility do not allow for editing of the filename.

I have saved over 100 documents with Adobe's web conversion utility, adding the date to the beginning of the filename when saving the file.

When I try to use this advanced search sort setting, the documents saved with Adobe's utility do not show up in the bookmarks section with the filename I gave them, defaulting instead to Adobe's title that the program assigns the file.

    I know how…

  5. I am a registered user/owner of Acrobat Pro DC – 2015 Release (Classic) Version 2015.006.30418

    Adobe Case Number ADB-2045549-L4R2

I would very much like to be able to adjust the gap or spacing between images or pages in a multi-page PDF document such that one image does not follow on so closely to the proceeding image.

Single page view does not work for PDF files viewed in browsers so scrolling pages are always closely grouped together. Please enable this capability.

This pdf file shows what I want to be able to do: http://tinyurl.com/y9we7btt

  6. I often compare one PDF to another, and the prev version will have lots of comments to make sure I address. To help myself keep track of where I've made it to as I go, I collapse the page's comment list as I complete a page. I really wish there was a small collapse bar with an up arrow/caret at the bottom of each page's comments list, since when I read the last comment about a page, I've scrolled quite a bit in the comments bar and have to scroll up again to collapse the page's list from the top.…

  7. Problem: When creating a fillable form, you either have to go in order of fields you create or in order of field creation number. When I receive forms that have already been given a great deal of time, the tabbing functionality is not ideal due to the function obeying the rule of field creation/ purposeful placing in the fields scrollbar. This becomes a chore when dealing with hundreds of fields. Ideally at this moment you want to scrap the whole creation and begin in a more formal and tedious recreation.

Solution: Multiple click/drag selectable field grouping. Where you can form…

  8. When creating a PDF via the "Create PDF" button in the Adobe Ribbon in MS Word, I have noticed that sometimes the hyperlinks are not clickable in the PDF and sometimes they are. I found the pattern and I think it's a bug.

    1) If a hyperlink in the DOCX contains an anchor (e.g. www.myfile.com#page=32), then all the linked text after that one in the PDF are not clickable. The anchor in the DOCX also causes the bookmarks in the PDF to render incorrectly from that point on.

    2) If a hyperlink in the DOCX is internal, then it…

  9. When using the arrows to scroll page by page through a file, the navigation arrows jump back and forth across the top of the page if the length of the page title differs, making it impossible to quickly click through the document without chasing the arrows around. This is a clear oversight and design flaw.

  11. I need to be able to add a file name (or a bookmark name) to the header or footer. It seems there might be third party add-ins out there, but I would think it would be something Adobe could do.

  12. In Windows 10 you have the possibility to scroll inactive windows (Start > Settings > Devices > Mouse > Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them).

You only have to hover over the inactive window with the mouse and you can scroll. It's the same with zooming. When you press CTRL and scroll, it zooms the window under the cursor of the mouse. It works with all other apps, i.e. MS Office, even other Adobe apps like Illustrator, InDesign, etc. but not with Adobe Acrobat. You have to actually click (activate) the window with PDF for that to work.…

  13. I've been using Acrobat for 25 years and the current version is absolute junk, totally unworkable.
It can't even scroll a pdf.
    Wheel of death constantly.
    Highlighing and comments take forever.
How can you release and charge for such junk?

Up to date Acrobat Pro in 2023 Macbook pro.

  14. I recently had the "Request e-signatures" button load under my mouse cursor when trying to click on "View more" tools in the All tools sidebar.

I would like the area where the "Request e-signatures" to load in as the tools panel is loaded to reserve space for the e-signatures button. This would make it easier to click on "View more" without waiting for the e-signatures button to load as there is not a scroll bar on the tools panel until the signature panel is loaded.

  17. I see below a lot of comments about the scroll bar. I want to know where the little up and down arrows went! My gosh, their function is profound. When working in a thousand-page document in which I have to find the minutiae of data point, I need the little arrows. The big scroll bar is NOT precise enough to work on one page of a document. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. Why did you break something that was not broken. What was wrong with the little arrows? Please, I beg of you, bring them back like in prior versions. The…

  19. I just installed the latest version in hopes of solving an OCR problem. Where o where are the page navigations? I have to scroll to page 296? I have searched for every term I can think of related to Page Width, View, Previous/Next Page, full Page View, etc., etc., etc.
I have 3 projects going out today - no time for tutorials or scrollong to page 296. Please help!

  20. Acrobat Document Properties View Limited:

When creating xdp files and saving them as static pdf's from AEM Designer, the Form Title is getting cut-off and is inaccessible when you open the file with Acrobat. Please see the screenshot of the issue attached to this post.

    Replication steps:
    1. Open designer and create a new XDP
    2. Open Form Properties and enter a Title longer than 400 characters under the Info tab
    3. Save file as Static PDF
    4. Open pdf with Acrobat and Click Menu > Document Properties
    5. Title is cut-off and the container doesn't allow for scrolling and/or…
