Java Script Debugger window resize is broken
In Adobe DC Pro, the Java Script Debugger window can be resized, but the internal sections cannot / do not scale to the proportions of the overall window size.
The internal sections should be movable / scalable to allow all parts to be viewed, with scroll bars, for the overall window size chosen for the main debugger window.
Very frustrating that the contents do not fit within a normal 1920 x 1080 monitor on my system.

Using the "Customize Quick Tools" is always very slow
I use the mouse to scroll to find the tool is always very slow when using the "Customize Quick Tools" feature. My software version is Acrobat DC Pro 2019.012.20034, and the computer is Mac Pro 2013 ( macOS 10.14.5). My computer configuration is not low, using Acrobat and other software is not slow. Use of "Customize Quick Tools" function is always very slow, it takes a long time to add the required tools on the Toolbar.

Replace pages - maintains previous pages - memory issue
Replace Pages - conflict with replacing old pages with newly revised pages. The following has happened now on more than three occasions: It first must be stated, that I have a number of reports and supplemental documents that need to be combined as one document file; which is the protocol of a particular County Government agency.
There are always revisions, so I will often need to update or revise that (rather large) document with newer pages, which are nearly identical to what I already have in the file. When I go to replace some of those pages (up to 30-40…1 vote -
Chat
The chat window won't let me scroll up past 2-3 messages. This is stupid because the rep had given me a link to come here and I couldn't get back to it.
Additional comment: We all know companies don't want to actually ever talk to their paying customers, but making us type the SAME question more than five times in that auto chat before we get a live person is particularly bad form.

Make sort by groups collapsed as the default behavior
When I sort comments: by type, author, color, page, etc, the groups are always fully open. If I'm sorting by a particular group, I want to target something within a group. If I have a lot of comments, they scroll past the end of the comment pane. So EVERY TIME, I have to collapse the groups. At the very least, make the name of the groups BOLD somehow, so that I can see which group it is more easily. Also, I miss the little twirl down triangle, That UI was more intuitive. I don't like the ellipses.

set default view
I want to be able to set the view defaul to "fit to page" because every time I open a new file or skip to a bookmark, I have to decrease the page size to be able to see the whole page and this REALLY slows me down.

Please add a shortcut to add a text comment to a pdf without having to select the comment in the side pane
This is similar to how it is possible to highlight or underline only by selecting a text in the PDF without the need to select the "Comment" section on the side pane. I was hoping that it could be added when doing a right click on the PDF along with the "Add sticky note" and "Add bookmark".
Thank you.

BUG - Modal at Bottom of Form Duplicates Itself Constantly
Zoom in to 300 (might also occur more or less but figuring out the exact steps to duplicate this takes a lot of time even though I accidentally cause it to happen all of the time). Start clicking on the horizontal scroll bar arrows multiple times, or hold/scroll with the actual horizontal scroll bar and eventually this will happen. I think something is triggering it to scroll in both directions... maybe something with the mouse causes it to also scroll vertically... but adobe will render up to three modals (from what I've seen) and then sometimes two of them stay…

Acrobat Reader DC Freezes up
Acrobat Reader DC freezes up. this started about 2 weeks ago. Ehen opening a PDF some time i can scroll for a short while then it freezes or some times it freezes as soon as it is launched. I've been through all of the suggested steps nothing so far helps. what next? I don't get an error code. Operating system is Windows 8.1. It worked fine on windows 8.1 earlier so I assume an update was pushed that was not compatible with my machine.

Choose pages option in Combine
As with Acrobat 9 Pro, your new DC versions needs a "choose pages or select pages" option when combining multiple documents into one pdf. The old version easily allowed you to select the individual document, and enter that you wanted to include only pages 1-22, 56-68, 543. Only these pages would be included. With DC I was just told by your customer support team that I would need to expand the document, and scroll through what could be a 1,000 page document and hand select the pages I need. Will not purchase program if this is the only way to…
3 votesHi Liz G,
Sorry for the late reply.
Selecting page range for combing is already present in combine feature of Acrobat.
After adding the file switch to list view of combine and Select the pdf you want to choose mention the range and click on “Page Range”. choose your page range (eg 1-5,10-12 etc). Combine to get desire result. Thanks,

Standard Settings for PDF Maker
For preparing manuals with PDF maker of Acrobat Pro, it is urgently required to be able to save more standard settings.
I want new PDFs to be opened as a standard with bookmark window and page, as well of Zoom in full window size.
This option must be saved individually for each PDF right now.

Create a tool to create expandable and retractable sections within a Form
Adobe Pro needs to have a feature to create expandable drop down lists. I have seen it in other products, but it fits well with the PDF Pro.
I would like to be able to create easy drop down check lists, divided by topic, so the user can expand the form in the areas they need. This will reduce time for the customer to have to scroll through the document to find what they are looking for and will increase the functionality of the document.
I would like it to contain a plus box and minus box, so people can…

Bug: Microsoft pen not auto detected
I have a Microsoft Surface Book 3 & Surface pen. Adobe DC used to automatically recognise my pen for markup, and I used my finger to scroll.
about 3-6 months ago, I lost this ability. (yes, "Auto detect pen hardware to enable markup" is ticked in preferences)At the moment, the pen only works like a second mouse.
So far, I have removed and re-installed Adobe. Auto pen detection did work for 1 PDF but stopped working again.
I've also re-installed the pen drivers, but this has not helped.Auto detect pen for markup works perfectly okay in Microsoft Apps…

Output Preview page rendering / zooms in when checking separations
When using Output Preview to view separations, the document will zoom in to the upper left corner sporadically when clicking on and off different separation channels (ie. Black, Cyan, etc.) If you move to another scroll to another page or manually zoom in and out it might display correctly, but it might not. It's very random, but it happens consistently when you're in Output Preview. If you close the Output Preview window, the display goes back to normal.

Acrobat PDF from Word 365 Outlined Level 1 Style Maps to Wrong Page in PDF
This issue applies to MS Word 365 with Acrobat DC Pro Add-in.
Word version: Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2201 Build 16.0.14827.20158) 64-bit
Adobe Acrobat DC version: 2022.001.20117
Background story:
When the MS Word 365 Acrobat add-in is used to create a PDF (with create from headings selected in the Adobe preferences), bookmarks are created in the PDF output navigation panel as expected (refer to fig 3), but some of the headings do not link to their correct page when you click on them (they all default to page 1, top of the document). The affected styles are…1 vote -
Why is Acrobat (Reader?) such an unmitigated mess?
Supposedly, I have Acrobat Reader installed - I honestly can't even tell. That's what the menu has anyway, "About Acrobat Reader". Everywhere else it's just "Adobe Acrobat". I clicked on Share feedback, it took me to this page - "Acrobat for Windows and Mac". But in that long list on the left, there's a separate link/section "Acrobat Reader for Windows and Mac". Like I said, I can't even tell this much, not with any certainty. And then, supposedly, it's "DC", the version that came after 11 (or was it XI?), but then the About section only says 2025.001.21151. I can't…

Reduplicating Comments at Random
The latest Acrobat is TERRIBLE!! Not only are old tools missing (page scroll is the worst!) but after adding a comment to page 1 of a document I was reviewing, I find it has also been posted on pages 2, 3, 5, 8 and on...
Attempts to revise the text of a comment I added a few minutes earlier are thwarted. Acrobat no longer allows a user to revise their own entries??
As I read the comment in the forum, there seems to be enough frustration with what this version has done, that simply providing access to download and use…

Display proper roman numeral page numbers
Is there no way to properly display the page number labels in the "Go to a specific page number" box (the circled area of the attached screenshot)? For example, I'm on page ix, which is properly labelled ix (as shown in the Pages panel), but the box shows "9" rather than "ix". (I do realize this is because it's the ninth literal page in the file.) Then if I actually go to page 9, that gets displayed as "21". Although, note that I'd have to scroll away from page ix in order to type "9" in that box and actually…
