Horizontal scrolling would be great so the document can read like a book rather than always vertically.
I think it would be good to have a horizontal page feature not always just vertical scrolling for set up of brochures etc.

Highlight while Automatic Scrolling is On
Highlighting while Automatic Scrolling is On, and be able to switch between highlighting colors.
There are a lot of us who study from eBooks and other digital files in this time of this century.
Please, make this option available for us, so we will be able to highlight important words or sentences while we study. As mentioned and requested from others, the speed of Automatic Scrolling is very fast, which forces me to switch to the tablet and other applications.
Thank you

scrolling feature SUCKS!
Do you know how BAD scrolling feature has gotten? if you want to select text in the file and if it's more than one page, do you know how catastrophic it has become?
at the very beginning when Adobe was a small startup, this would have made sense (given we go back when it started), now it's just a big failure.
Don't you guys have some quality assurance team checks for this sort of basic things?
One more thing, I've always set Adobe as default app for PDFs, not any more ....

Bookmarks are opening to the page after the set destination. Action item set correctly
I am often having an issue of bookmarks going to the page after the set destination. I have checked the bookmark properties and they are correct.
The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

Provide options for naming bookmarks when creating PDF from Web Page
Please provide options for bookmark naming conventions. When creating HTML reports, I intentionally use relative links to link to attachments or appendices. However, when I create a PDF from the HTML home page, the bookmarks contain the full link exposing my User Profile name and other sensitive information. I would like the bookmark to be named for the relative link or the filename only (or an option for the document title). I prefer to create my reports in word with hyperlinks to other docs and attachments, but I have submitted a separate feature request for creating PDFs from documents with…

Scrolling speed is too fast on large documents
As mentioned in another post. The scrolling speed using a touchpad increases with the size of the document in Adobe Acrobat both reader and standard. Meaning, that smaller document of maybe 1-40 is fine. But a larger document, such as a book on several hundreds of pages, the scrolling speed goes grazy.

Custom Zoom Level for Bookmarks
When I make a bookmark, I would like the bookmark to include the same zoom level as when I make the bookmark. For example if I zoom in on a certain aspect of a drawing and bookmark at say 150%, later on if I am at 100% and click on the bookmark I'd like it to go back to that same item and at 150%. Older versions of Acrobat did this (I think 9.0), but Pro DC doesn't. It keeps the same zoom level that you are currently at.

Replace document colors scrolling bug with multiple tabs
When "Replace Document Colors" is used with multiple tabs (documents) open, the background will "window blind" as you scroll through the document. For example, if the background color has been changed to gray and a new PDF is opened in a tab, that PDF's background will have white, horizontal stripes as you scroll through that persist when scrolling stops. This only happens with the "Enable Scrolling" view option.

Allow user to set default view for all links (not just bookmarks)
Acrobat has already added a feature to allow users to set a default zoom level for new bookmarks.
I would like a similar feature to added for links that a user creates that "go to a page view".
When I create an index page in a document, I often add links to the index that will take the user to the particular items. It is my preference (much like with bookmarks) to have these links set to "inherit zoom". Unfortunately, there is no way to set a default zoom level of "inherit zoom" for new links.
Doing this…

Add a setting to make horizontal scrolling / zoom with mouse wheel match operating system
In Windows, holding shift while scrolling scrolls horizontally and holding ctrl while scrolling zooms in / out.
I would like to be able to the same behavior in InDesign so I do not have to consciously change how I navigate documents when using adobe products

Add an option to "save as PDF" from MS Word with "Bookmarks panel and Page" by default
Add an option to the Microsoft Word Adobe Acrobat driver that allows to save as PDF with the "Navigation Tab" - "Bookmarks panel and Page" property of the PDF file activated by default.
Currently it needs to be activated manually. The driver only saves with the "Navigation Tab" - "Page Only" option.
Other Drivers such as AutoCAD; however, save as PDF with the "Navigation Tab" - "Bookmarks panel and Page" property of the PDF file activated by default.

Permanently close tools and bookmarks
Please provide an easy 1-click way to completely hide all extrenuous panes when opening any document. This means :
- No bookmaarks on the right.
- No tools on the left.
There are a mess of settings all over the place, and comments on previous related issues to multiple steps to take, but all these seem out of date. This should be a single 1-click check box in the main preferences, completely overriding all other settings.
Even better: Acrobat Reader should learn from the fact that I close these panes every single time I open the app (multiple times per day), and…

Remove the relation between bookmarks text color and page color.
Currently there is no support for dark mode on reader, To simulate dark mode like experience we have to change settings in Preferences -> Accessibility -> Replace Document Colors. If we select the 'Replace Document Colors' option and in that we select 'Use High-Contrast Colors' and check the 'Change the color of line art as well as text', the bookmarks text color also switches to dark making it unreadable.
Adding screenshots for your reference.

Scrolling speed is too fast on large documents
For whatever stupid reason, Adobe Acrobat on Windows (both reader and Standard and Pro) change their scrolling speed when it comes to large documents. This is ridiculous, as if you're reading a textbook suddenly the pages fly by with the slightest touch.
The preferred behavior can be found in MacOS's preview: scroll speed is proportional to sequential scroll events. Thus, for large documents, users that want to scroll quickly can do so but navigating a small number of pages is much more reasonable.

Bookmark text is wrapped incorrectly
Bookmarks are wrapped incorrectly when resizing the bookmarks pane.
Expected behaviour:
Reducing the bookmarks pane's width should wrap bookmarks which are too long.
Actual behaviour:
Bookmarks are wrapped in two steps as the pane is being resized.
Firstly, a new line is created, but the bookmark text is not wrapped around.
Then, if you reduce the width even further, the actual wrap is done.1 voteSince we havent got much users asking for the same, we are closing this thread for now.
We’ll revisit if we hear back this againThanks
