  1. BUG: Text field > action > reset form: New text fields added are automatically added to the list and DEFAULT AS SELECTED

    BUG: Text field > action > reset form > Make selections: New text fields added after the fact are automatically added to the list as they DEFAULT AS SELECTED. They should default as not selected as they did not exist before the field was made.

  2. Create Link should default to NEXT not HELP

    When I add links to a PDF, I do NOT need help EVERY single time I create a link; it would be MUCH more convenient if the default selection were NEXT, not HELP. In this manner, I could use enter to select next, whereas now, when I inadvertently click enter thinking it should be the default, it seems to be common sense - oh, wait, that no longer exists, my bad. I guess never mind, no commonsense, why bother, right?

  3. Ocr not available in Acrobat Pro error message

    I have Acrobat Pro and tried to scan a pdf with OCR which gave me a message which said something about I have to pay for the OCR feature. This led me to finding the below support doc indicating OCR is part of Acrobat Pro.

    Clicking on the same exact button again it brought up the ocr tools instead of displaying the message, but I wouldn't have necessarily thought to try the same thing twice until after searching the web for which adobe product I would need to purchase to use OCR in Acrobat Pro (it's built in as…

  5. The SendMail doesn't know how to talk to your default mail client.

    I created a form back in Feb of 2018 that was submitted through default mail program that now no longer works. "The SendMail doesn't know how to talk to your default mail client." HELP!

  6. CC updates default my preferences

    Can we stop defaulting preferences when there is a CC update. My tools keep disappearing and having to open them and viewing preferences are gone. Having to change it everytime you update and I never know when that is going to happen as I don't ever get notified.

  7. Allow the View>Page Display>ShowCoverPageInTwoPageView to be on by default.

    In the prior version, this option was on by default. Now I have to manually select it in the menu, for every document I open. This should be a selection in the Settings area, to enable this view as default or not.

  8. Zoom Tool: Please add additional default zoom percentages

    Please add additional default zoom percentages for 15" and 17" laptop screens. BACKGROUND: As a college student, I read a lot of academic articles and PDF textbooks. However, I get a little irritated every time that I have to manually type in a zoom percentage of 250% or 270% because the default percentages jump from 200% to 300% (which is TOO much)! I know. It's a menial request. But it would make a HUGE difference for someone in my situation. Thank you!

  9. Send Adobe Acrobat "Send & Track" and "Send For Signature" from Personal or Business Email Address.

    Send Adobe Acrobat "Send & Track" and "Send For Signature" from personal or business email address instead of noreply@acrobat.com. This would be much more professional and prevent the emails from missing their inbox or not being read. If the emails came from an email address they already recognize, it will be noticed and opened.

  11. Trying to Change Default Font from Minion Pro to Times New Roman or Arial

    I have been waiting forever to have the Adobe Pro XI development team change the default font from Minion Pro (no one uses Minion Pro) to Times New Roman or Arial (the most common). The specific problem for me is that my company name starts with a J. The J in Minion Pro looks like an I. That is causing all sorts of problems. The letter J in Times New Roman and Arial looks like a J. Why do we hav to beg to get this changed? It made no sense to have it set to Minion Pro default anyway.

  12. Filter by unchecked should be a default filter

    Seriously, the new Acrobat design hides the checked/unchecked options from the Comment filter until you check one. Also, to check a comment you have to right-click it now where in previous versions of Acrobat it was an actual checkbox you clicked. Just put it back the way it was Adobe!

    Using Acrobat Pro DC is the biggest headache in the world. You have made this 1,000 times more difficult than Adobe Acrobat Pro X. Adobe Acrobat's team seems incapable to thinking intuitively.   14. Allow Specification of Default "Scan To" folder when Scanning

    Hi,
    I do a LOT of scanning via Acrobat Pro DC. I am often creating multiple documents, but each time I initiate a scan I have to select a folder to save the documents to (usually 5 or 6 clicks in an AWFULLY BADLY DESIGNED folder selection window.

    I ask just ONE thing - can you please provide an option that allows me to specify a DEFAULT folder that will be selected when I wish to scan (and save multiple files).

    This is the biggest pain in my *** right now - adds 7 clicks and 20 seconds every time.…

  15. Provde ability to change the default font COLOR on the Edit PDF screen. Can changed default font why not color too? would help alot

    Ability to change default color on "Edit PDF" would enable BIG productivity win for us. Using EDIT PDF is super easy to make changes on customer record document - but seeing the change in color would provide very clearly where new information was added or changed.

  16. Add capability to set default font size, color, and style when adding text boxes to documents

    The company I work for uses a lot of text boxes when marking up client PDF files obtained during our audits. The lack of ability to set a default font size, color, and style for every text box we add is very time consuming. I realize there is still a feature to set the default text box fill and outline, however I do not want 12-point RED font as my predetermined default every time I choose to add a text box. PLEASE bring this feature back!

  19. Message about an invalid page content even when this content is not broken.

    Adobe Acrobat shows a message about an invalid page content even when this content is not broken.

    It happens in the next case when there are 2 things:

    1. A content of a page contain 'gs' command that is used 'TK' key.

    2. The second case is very difficult to define.

    Looks that it is related to the length of a stream of a page. But maybe there are exists additional conditions.

    Adobe Acrobat throw the error windows when you open this document.

    Note any others PDF viewers and checkers does not found any errors.

  20. Default language set to English with Arabic support on Adobe Pro

    After re-installing Adobe Pro due to problems with crashing, when adding text to a PDF document, typing a colon or number would result in the digits moving to the left of all the text and appearing in a non-English font. On googling the issue, I found a thread referring to the fact that the Language default in Preferences may be set to "English with Arabic support" with all options for "Editing in Middle Eastern Languages" toggled on. This was the case for me and I reset the Application Language Preference to Same as operating system and toggled the Middle Eastern…
