  2. Send Adobe Acrobat "Send & Track" and "Send For Signature" from personal or business email address instead of noreply@acrobat.com. This would be much more professional and prevent the emails from missing their inbox or not being read. If the emails came from an email address they already recognize, it will be noticed and opened.

  3. I use Acrobat PRO DC in prepress to switch layer visibility in PDF's that are linked to Illustrator imposition file. Usually I need to change 2-5 layer visibility. The process involves awkwardly too many steps to change a default visibility state of a layer in order for it to be saved. And when trying to save changes sometimes it fails. To correct the issue I usually have to rotate the page CCW and back CW and just then the layer visibility state can be saved. Please look at this as it consumes time and needs too many steps to complete…

  4. Can we stop defaulting preferences when there is a CC update. My tools keep disappearing and having to open them and viewing preferences are gone. Having to change it everytime you update and I never know when that is going to happen as I don't ever get notified.

  5. I have Acrobat Pro and tried to scan a pdf with OCR which gave me a message which said something about I have to pay for the OCR feature. This led me to finding the below support doc indicating OCR is part of Acrobat Pro.

    Clicking on the same exact button again it brought up the ocr tools instead of displaying the message, but I wouldn't have necessarily thought to try the same thing twice until after searching the web for which adobe product I would need to purchase to use OCR in Acrobat Pro (it's built in as…

  8. When working with a document in different devices (in my case Android and windows PC devices), the default color palettes for commenting are different. They should be similar to ensure the colors are the same across any device.

  9. Please add additional default zoom percentages for 15" and 17" laptop screens. BACKGROUND: As a college student, I read a lot of academic articles and PDF textbooks. However, I get a little irritated every time that I have to manually type in a zoom percentage of 250% or 270% because the default percentages jump from 200% to 300% (which is TOO much)! I know. It's a menial request. But it would make a HUGE difference for someone in my situation. Thank you!

  11. Whenever a page is copied with a text box on it, the text box defaults to left aligned and shrinks to the size of the text. Then I need to stretch the text box to the edges of the screen and click center text again. This would be avoided if there was a way to center the text box on the text. At least have the text box of a copied page inherit the properties of the page it came from. This would significantly reduce the tedium of creating pages identical aside from the text centered on each page.

  12. Seriously, the new Acrobat design hides the checked/unchecked options from the Comment filter until you check one. Also, to check a comment you have to right-click it now where in previous versions of Acrobat it was an actual checkbox you clicked. Just put it back the way it was Adobe!

  13. When I add links to a PDF, I do NOT need help EVERY single time I create a link; it would be MUCH more convenient if the default selection were NEXT, not HELP. In this manner, I could use enter to select next, whereas now, when I inadvertently click enter thinking it should be the default, it seems to be common sense - oh, wait, that no longer exists, my bad. I guess never mind, no commonsense, why bother, right?

  14. The company I work for uses a lot of text boxes when marking up client PDF files obtained during our audits. The lack of ability to set a default font size, color, and style for every text box we add is very time consuming. I realize there is still a feature to set the default text box fill and outline, however I do not want 12-point RED font as my predetermined default every time I choose to add a text box. PLEASE bring this feature back!

  15. I have been waiting forever to have the Adobe Pro XI development team change the default font from Minion Pro (no one uses Minion Pro) to Times New Roman or Arial (the most common). The specific problem for me is that my company name starts with a J. The J in Minion Pro looks like an I. That is causing all sorts of problems. The letter J in Times New Roman and Arial looks like a J. Why do we hav to beg to get this changed? It made no sense to have it set to Minion Pro default anyway.

  16. In the prior version, this option was on by default. Now I have to manually select it in the menu, for every document I open. This should be a selection in the Settings area, to enable this view as default or not.

  17. I created a form back in Feb of 2018 that was submitted through default mail program that now no longer works. "The SendMail doesn't know how to talk to your default mail client." HELP!

  18. Hi,
    I do a LOT of scanning via Acrobat Pro DC. I am often creating multiple documents, but each time I initiate a scan I have to select a folder to save the documents to (usually 5 or 6 clicks in an AWFULLY BADLY DESIGNED folder selection window.

    I ask just ONE thing - can you please provide an option that allows me to specify a DEFAULT folder that will be selected when I wish to scan (and save multiple files).

    This is the biggest pain in my *** right now - adds 7 clicks and 20 seconds every time.…

  20. Please include the message in the email when sending for signing. At the moment, to review the message itself, you have to Log into Adobe to view it. If the message can be included in the body of the initial email, it will be helpful and more time efficient. As it is, reminders sent out for Adobe sign includes the email message so why can't the first Adobe sign being sent out include this.
