  1. image import

    I spent 45 minutes trying add a simple image to a pdf page. At first, I tried a .tif and it imported with a black background. Then I changed it to .png and tried to import, but I got a "corrupted" error or "file type not supported". So I changed it to a jpeg and got the same error. Then I restarted the software and tried again. It imported the jpeg but all the text and borders that should have been set in stone in the PDF were mysteriously chopped up as if it were a word document with bad…

  2. I can't stretch an image

  3. Copy paste OR duplicate a page in thumbnail view

    Should have an option to enable the user to copy paste or duplicate a page in thumbnail view. For example, I make a blank pg in a pdf file which I should be able to copy-paste/duplicate, as a blank page, in between the desired pages of the pdf.

  4. Shared image becomes blur while converting from PS to PDF using Distiller 11

    We created sample PDF file with shared image at page #1, #2 and normal image at page #3 and extracted PS file for the same. while converting the PS to PDF file using Acrobat Disteller 10/11/DC we are able to see the shared images at page #1 and #2 becomes blur in the output PDF file, but while converting the PS to PDF file using Acrobat Disteller 9 we are able to see the shared images looks GOOD in the output PDF file.

  6. Comment popup text very difficult to Select and Copy to clipboard

    Open an existing comment bubble popup that has text in it. Select (highlight) the text. Now just move the mouse cursor slightly outside of the comment popup boundary. The text you highlighted becomes unhighlighted! I can’t even express how maddeningly frustrating this is. We have hundreds of edits a day that we need to copy the comment text out of Acrobat.

    We are CONSTANTLY selecting the text, hitting COMMAND+C, switching over to a different program to paste, only to realize that either nothing gets pasted in or the text from the previous edit is still on the clipboard. I finally…

  7. restrict copy of pdf file

    dear adobe developer,

    In pandemic times, it is necessary to make PDF documents even more secure, taking into account that people are avoiding using printed paper instead of the PDF file. It is necessary to create tools that make it impossible for people to copy, share documents.

  8. Acrobat Pro DC is unusable.

    When I edit a pdf, Acrobat refuses to let me save it. It tells me I'm not authorized to do that. I save it under a different name and then try to delete the file that I don't want, and it won't move to the trash can either. If I try to overwrite an existing pdf with a new file of the same name, it says it can't do it. It won't work until I open task manager and stop acrobat and then try. I cannot do this every hour at work. I really want to get the 2018 version…

  9. when using adobe sign, the default message of "please review and sign" should be editable, instead of having to copy and paste a message.

  10. Image from exporting PDF to JPEG/ PNG is very poor, even choosing the maximum image quality

    We just simply export pdf to both jpeg and png with maximum image quality but the outcome is very low. We found that the file size is very small about 180-280KB so we tried to find the setting to enlarge it but not sure whether it exists. We also have reinstalled the program but it still doesn't work.

  12. Highlighter opacity setting has no effect on image highlight (freehand)

    The highlighter opacity setting only applies to text highlight, and has no effect on image/freehand highlight (which appears to be equivalent to "100% opacity" setting (not actually 100% as you can see through it - which is ok).

  13. Copy a text box across multiple pages

    When processing information requests, I often redact multiple pages. Each redacted page requires a note (currently using a text box) regarding the reason for the redaction. If I have a range of pages that all get redacted for the same reason, I would like a feature where the same text box can be copied on the range of pages without having to manually copy and paste the text box onto each page. I am considering a subscription, and this would be an enticing feature.

  14. Copy/Paste for email details in Acrobat Sign.

    When sending a document for E-Signature. I send a different document to every user. But it is always the same email message on the Review and Sign page. However, I am not able to copy and paste a message in that field. I always have type a long message to the recipient every time.

  15. Add Image/Photo Capture Field to Forms

    I want my customers to be able to fill out an Adobe Form on an iPad with a feature to capture a photo of their ID. Currently there is not an image/photo capture field that can be included in the form. just the ability to add a photo to a form in the design.

  18. Please bring back editing tools such as stikethrough, text boxes with arrows et. These are essential for copy editors and revisers!

    I need the editing tools that have disappeared (strikethrough, text boxes with arrows,etc). These are essential for copy editors and reviewers and they were the reason I bought this program (Acrobat Pr). It is pretty useless to me without these tools!

  19. Option for setting quality or DPI when using Export to Image on PDF Services API

    PDF Services API currently has no option to specify the image quality when exporting a PDF to an image. The default resolution is very low quality, and not fit for purpose for enterprise scenarios.

    Acrobat itself has the option to specify image quality, and this is a critical feature for the API so that we could leverage this functionality programmatically.
