  2. Issue: When preparing a form to send for signature, Image Field is an allowable field, and looks/works just fine in the preview. But during the step of upload/document processing (for signature), the image field is stripped out with no warning message or alert that the form you are about to send to your recipient for signature has been changed.

Enhancement rationale: Images are often a necessary component of prepared forms (need photo ID for an employment application, perhaps a pet photo for tenant screening, a voided check for ACH initiation, etc.). These forms require both images AND…

  3. When editing templates previously created, the text field-area moves and includes different parts of the text even if they were in completely different boxes.
I came back to a template and experienced the attached. It prints out that way as well. This is very frustrating because I don't know how to get the original text back.

  4. The ability to prepare a form from a scanned document (or PDF that had no form elements on it) is a great feature, and if the instructions from https://acrobatusers.com/assets/collections/tutorials/legacy/id_2263/acro9_designforms.pdf are followed, makes it easy to turn a flat document into a fillable form.

However, I believe a feature of this has been overlooked since the introduction of the date style form, and that is the ability for the prepare form feature to recognise a date and apply the date style form.

My request is to update the prepare form feature so that something that resembles…

  5. Text spontaneously disappears after leaving the page and scrolling back to it. The text fields still exists and some letters stay visible, but the other letters have disappeared.

I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using
Also some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

  6. It would be very helpful if you could have one web form that could be routed to different approvers based upon a field response. We have one form that is the same across multiple departments but has different approvers depending on the department. It would be simpler to have one form with multiple approvers than to keep track of a form for each department.

  7. Editing auto generated form text fields for a long document is a NIGHTMARE.

why on earth would i have to MANNUALY change EACH and every field?

what's the use of the preferences being set to a font i prefer for it just to be reverted back to Helvetica?

Either you unify the font preferences or just make a section for form preparation font to allow us to choose for it as well

it's insane that i have to waste so much time editing tons of fields on just switching fonts when a simple solution of a "one…

  8. I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.
Users have been asking about this issue for at least seven years now – what's so hard about changing the highlight color for the document (again, NOT my personal settings)? I can change the text and box color once the field is selected, but the default box…

  9. In older versions we could just add text to a document where needed. Now you have to go to Tools, Edit which then takes the time to recognizes all the text in a document. I frequently add text in all kinds of documents including charts and forms. When it goes to "recognize" the text on the full page, it distorts it to something unuseable. I end up having to open the document in Photoshop - if it will read it since usually it was scanned in first. If it won't, I have to do a screen shot, cut and…

  11. I've lost the ability lately to scroll the contents via the mouse scroll wheel of the Fields tab of the Prepare a form part of the program. Scrolling works properly in other tabs and dialog boxes though. I started experiencing it since the latest patch.

  12. When creating a form using the Submit by email button, and when testing the function, you get the below text as the default body of the email.

“The attached file contains data that was entered into a form. It is not the form itself.

The recipient of this data file should save it locally with a unique name. Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 or later can process this data by importing it back into the blank form or creating a spreadsheet from several data files. See Help in Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 for more details.”

    It's crucial to be able…

  13. Editing Form Fields.

In previous versions of Adobe Pro 9, 10 & 11 it was possible to edit Form Fields 1 page at a time by:

    selecting and highlighting 1 field,
then right click to Select All,
then successfully edit all fields on just that 1 page
    Then save.

This does not work in Adobe DC. When same steps are followed Adobe selects EVERY field in Form on EVERY page (very slowly). When Field Properties are edited Program then freezes each time you try to save.

Please Adobe RESTORE same 1 page Form Field editing to…

    Thank you for your patience

  14. When the highlight text tool is being used, i can't highlight continuous texts in different pages, I think that adobe should make this possible, is more intuitive.

On the other hand, i can simply select the text whitout the highlight tool selected and with the pop up setting i can then highlight the text, but if I erase the highlihted text on one page, the highlighted text in the other page will remain highlighted

  16. The frame that pops up when editing forms (at the right) is a fixed width. Which means, if you have long field names, you have to scroll horizontally back and forth to review and edit.

Would be great if this frame was made adjustable!

  17. When copying form fields, Acrobat automatically makes identical copies. If I copy a page and fill in the first page, the fields on the second page are automatically filled out with the same info. The only way to couteract this without having java scripting knowledge is to manually change the name of every field. This is frustrating when you have 100 fields that need to be identical on 20 pages, but filled out with different info. This should be a standard option. Preferrably while copying, acrobat could ask if you want the new copies linked with…

  19. I don't know how Acrobat has not allowed for a Text-To-Speech option of SELECTED text only yet. It's an amazing tool for people with disabilities... especially those who need text read to them.

It is extremely frustrating having to listen to the text of a document from the begining if you only need the last paragraph read allowed. Extremely disappointed Adobe hasn't stepped up their game.

    Hi,
We understand your problem here. We are continuously working in making a better experience for our customer.
We have kept it in our radar and will implement in the near future.

    Thanks

  20. I worked with your support group for 30 minutes to get to the bottom of this and here's what we determined. When using Text Tags in MS Word, Adobe Sign will not recognize or utilize them when documents are submitted for signature from either Adobe App or Adobe Cloud. In order to get them to work, you must do these two things:

    1) Click on your Account, Settings, and then Uncheck "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures" and "Disable form field detection." Doing this on its own did Not solve the problem.

    2) From within the Adobe Acrobat App,…
