  1. Adobe Pro crashes when using tools

    The tools option for Adobe Pro causes application to crash. I have downloaded latest version of Adobe Pro and it is still crashing. Running on Macintosh High Sierra operating system which is up to date as well.

  2. Improve user information on Acrobat Pro DC Tools home page

    Only due to my extremely helpful customer service rep, Gurjeet Singh, do I now understand that all the tools on my Acrobat Pro tools page are included in my current subscription - even those that say "Add" rather than "Open." Before I bought the subscription - and was using/purchasing tools on a onesy-twosy basis, "Add" indicated "not purchased," it is very confusing (and misleading) to use the same word on the subscription interface page. My suggestion involves two-three minor changes. 1. At the top of the subscription tools user interface, add a short title line that clearly indicates that the…

  4. Reset my toolbar and force me to look at tools I will never use!?

    WTF are you thinking! Who has the idea of "simplifying" someone's interface when it's not asked for. I didn't even get a choice! All of a sudden this morning I find my whole setup was changed. Flip-flopped the side margins! Reset my toolbar. Make me look at a hideous floating toolbar when there is plenty of room to dock it! I don't have time to figure out how to re-learn how to use your program today! I need to get my reports edited and sent out and now I'm stuck trying to find where all my tools went!

  6. Create a way to opt out of "new tools" notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups

    Added to the many annoying notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups/ advertising messages that Adobe has recently built in to Acrobat are notifications about "New Tools", whether in the quick access tool panel, on the application home page, or when viewing my online account/ profile at acrobat.adobe.com.

    It appears to be some kind of "tour" of new features that is commonly used in other products, but (1) most of the places this notification appears will NOT trigger a tour when you click on it (it just opens the 'All Tools' menu), and (2) there is NO way to…

  9. Multi-Row Toolbar with Colored Icons

    Former versions of Acrobat, prior to Acrobat DC, had the capability of showing tools on two rows at the top of the document pane.

    The lack of colorization of icons in DC, the basic shapes and the inability to show nearly all tools in the toolbar makes it very difficult and time consuming to edit and markup documents. I most often use the full array of tools and find it time consuming to search for tools that don't "fit" on the single row toolbar.

  10. Bug: General preferences > Use Single Key Accelerators To Access Tools: doesn't work

    Both, Acrobat DC and Reader DC ignore the "General preferences > Use Single Key Accelerators To Access Tools" settings.

    Although I checked this option, whenever I open a PDF document, acceleration keys (e.g. "H" or "D" for changing the selection mode) don't work.

    Deselecting and selecting this option in General Preferences temporarily enables this feature, but both programs "forget" this setting the next time one of them is getting launched.

    HI David,
    We tried on our side on the latest build. It is fixed on our side. Please update on the latest build.
    Although the issue faced by you may be because you have not turned off Protected View, Please turn it off and you won’t be facing the issue anymore.

  11. Image edit tools cover image

    With the newest updates, when you click on an image to move or edit it, there is now a new option popup but the popup is constantly covering the image. So you can't actually click the image to edit it because that popup keeps covering it. You can see in my image the blue dots of the image I'm trying to edit but the options right in front of it.

  12. Please add a shortcut to add a text comment to a pdf without having to select the comment in the side pane

    This is similar to how it is possible to highlight or underline only by selecting a text in the PDF without the need to select the "Comment" section on the side pane. I was hoping that it could be added when doing a right click on the PDF along with the "Add sticky note" and "Add bookmark".

  14. How to modify or hide adobe acrobat DC properties

    I would like to know how to delete or hide properties in Acrobat Pro DC? For example, the dates modified, the created, and the edit time. This would be great for documents that are reused over the course of time.

  15. Bug Report - Using Tools (esp Redact tool) causes wheel of death. HELP

    Hi I'm having continual issues with using the Redact and Combine tools. Whenever I use these tools and attempt to save the document, I get the wheel of death and have to force close Adobe. When I go to where I saved the document, I get an error message saying "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

  16. Super slow switching between text annotation tools on macOS

    The simple highlight text, underline and other markup tools take seconds to switch between. Do you mine bitcoin in between switching? :–) Also see requests "An Urgent Need for Better and Bolder Annotation Tools" and "Make it possible to copy highlighted text". You seem to answer only to selected comments. I enjoyed much better reception with my requests for bugs on the iPad app.

  17. BUG REPORT: 18.011.20038 Customize Quick Tools resets after every boot!

    Customize Quick Tools resets after every boot on a brand new computer with a new install of Acrobat DC. Why is there NO WAY to export settings for quick import and/or copying to other machines?! This is 2018, not 1995.

  18. Comments pane window is too short and cuts off comments

    I have a 27" monitor and when I enlarge Acrobat to fill the screen, the comments are cut off at the bottom. This happens with all documents. It's like the comment window has a maximum height built into it. It needs to expand all the way.

  19. Display Pointer and Pan Tools (at the same time)

    In the new interface, version 2023.003.20244, the pan and pointer tools can not appear on the toolbar at the same time. Please fix this bug.

    Also, it would be great if it was possible to pan using a mouse ring click. Would you create a setting to pan using a mouse ring click? Thanks.
