  1. Reset my toolbar and force me to look at tools I will never use!?

    WTF are you thinking! Who has the idea of "simplifying" someone's interface when it's not asked for. I didn't even get a choice! All of a sudden this morning I find my whole setup was changed. Flip-flopped the side margins! Reset my toolbar. Make me look at a hideous floating toolbar when there is plenty of room to dock it! I don't have time to figure out how to re-learn how to use your program today! I need to get my reports edited and sent out and now I'm stuck trying to find where all my tools went!

  2. Adobe Pro DC - Hide left side navigation in folder view

    Is there any way to hide the left side navigation in folder view (see attached)? Most apps have left/right arrows to hide/reveal those side menus, but I can't find anything to do that in Adobe Pro DC and they really take up a lot of space.

  3. Improve user information on Acrobat Pro DC Tools home page

    Only due to my extremely helpful customer service rep, Gurjeet Singh, do I now understand that all the tools on my Acrobat Pro tools page are included in my current subscription - even those that say "Add" rather than "Open." Before I bought the subscription - and was using/purchasing tools on a onesy-twosy basis, "Add" indicated "not purchased," it is very confusing (and misleading) to use the same word on the subscription interface page. My suggestion involves two-three minor changes. 1. At the top of the subscription tools user interface, add a short title line that clearly indicates that the…

  5. Provide Option to Hide Welcome / Home /Startup Screen

    My Acrobat Pro DC opens automatically when I boot my Mac.
    Each time I have to close the annoying start-up screen where the last documents are displayed. I don’t need it! Please provide an option again to disable this feature as it where in past versions of Acrobat. Thank you.

    The "All Tools" sidebar on the left side of Acrobat acts like it will allow you to re-order the tools, but the functionality no longer works.

  7. Create a way to opt out of "new tools" notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups

    Added to the many annoying notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups/ advertising messages that Adobe has recently built in to Acrobat are notifications about "New Tools", whether in the quick access tool panel, on the application home page, or when viewing my online account/ profile at acrobat.adobe.com.

    It appears to be some kind of "tour" of new features that is commonly used in other products, but (1) most of the places this notification appears will NOT trigger a tour when you click on it (it just opens the 'All Tools' menu), and (2) there is NO way to…

  9. Super slow switching between text annotation tools on macOS

    The simple highlight text, underline and other markup tools take seconds to switch between. Do you mine bitcoin in between switching? :–) Also see requests "An Urgent Need for Better and Bolder Annotation Tools" and "Make it possible to copy highlighted text". You seem to answer only to selected comments. I enjoyed much better reception with my requests for bugs on the iPad app.

  11. Display Pointer and Pan Tools (at the same time)

    In the new interface, version 2023.003.20244, the pan and pointer tools can not appear on the toolbar at the same time. Please fix this bug.

    Also, it would be great if it was possible to pan using a mouse ring click. Would you create a setting to pan using a mouse ring click? Thanks.

  12. keyboard shortcut for page display tools

    Wasn't sure if this should go under UI or Accessibility, but... I often need to change the view of pages (single, two-page, scrolling, no scrolling).

    It would be helpful if this could be toggled with keyboard shortcuts instead of having to click them in the quick tools bar.

    If this is already possible, I'd greatly appreciate if someone could let me know how!

  14. Bug: General preferences > Use Single Key Accelerators To Access Tools: doesn't work

    Both, Acrobat DC and Reader DC ignore the "General preferences > Use Single Key Accelerators To Access Tools" settings.

    Although I checked this option, whenever I open a PDF document, acceleration keys (e.g. "H" or "D" for changing the selection mode) don't work.

    Deselecting and selecting this option in General Preferences temporarily enables this feature, but both programs "forget" this setting the next time one of them is getting launched.

    HI David,
    We tried on our side on the latest build. It is fixed on our side. Please update on the latest build.
    Although the issue faced by you may be because you have not turned off Protected View, Please turn it off and you won’t be facing the issue anymore.

  15. Please add a shortcut to add a text comment to a pdf without having to select the comment in the side pane

    This is similar to how it is possible to highlight or underline only by selecting a text in the PDF without the need to select the "Comment" section on the side pane. I was hoping that it could be added when doing a right click on the PDF along with the "Add sticky note" and "Add bookmark".

  16. Georegistration tool - Renew the availablility of georegistration tools.

    Many softwares are geospatially aware and can operate on a GeoPDF. Unfortunately most PDF based maps don't typically inherit and/or include a geodetic coordinate reference system (CRS), as the source is often a scanned map or JPG, PNG or other non-spatially aware image format. The ability to easily create a GeoPDF is a valuable way to promote their use, and the previously included georegistration tools were very effective. Assuming that the CRS uses a standard WGS-84 GCS the process is straight forward and easily performed.     the latest Adobe update rolled out a new UI look for the viewing screen. The Quick Tool box in the upper left corner lays over the search box and it makes it difficult to see what is being typed into the search field

  18. Multi-Row Toolbar with Colored Icons

    Former versions of Acrobat, prior to Acrobat DC, had the capability of showing tools on two rows at the top of the document pane.

    The lack of colorization of icons in DC, the basic shapes and the inability to show nearly all tools in the toolbar makes it very difficult and time consuming to edit and markup documents. I most often use the full array of tools and find it time consuming to search for tools that don't "fit" on the single row toolbar.

  20. How to modify or hide adobe acrobat DC properties

    I would like to know how to delete or hide properties in Acrobat Pro DC? For example, the dates modified, the created, and the edit time. This would be great for documents that are reused over the course of time.
