1. Why did Adobe take away Adobe Cloud access to paying customers

   Why did your programmers decide that the Adobe Creative Cloud is no longer accessible to Adobe Acrobat Pro paying customers? First, you raise the price, then you update the program and took away the title bar—horrible new design. Now, you are taking away access to the Adobe Creative Cloud. Please respect all of your paying customers by keeping our access to the Adobe Creative Cloud possible. We are paying more money for less accessibility to Adobe products. Thank you.

2. Annoying Notifications Every Single Day

   As an everyday user of Adobe Acrobat, I cannot tell you how absolutely annoying and frustrating it is to click through new "helpful tips" and "notes" and "Got It!" screens. It's driving me mad. It's at the point where the owner and I are searching for other e-Signature solutions. Please, please, please, PLEASE stop creating so many new notifications of all the features that I have to click through every time a select a menu option. Horrible user experience. Thank you

3. BUG - Randomly Can't Play certain .mp4's

   I have had multiple PDFs made in indesign with REALLY SIMPLE .mp4's just refuse to play. In this one, the second video plays fine, but the first will NOT play no matter what I do. I've switched the video, I've reexported it, I've deleted the contents of the page and started over, and it still just sits with that ugly loading bar whenever I open it up in acrobat to test it out. I work with video regularly, and this happened last week when I tried assembling a few videos for a project for another client. All of them loaded fine except one, and nothing I did got it to play. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I've searched all over online and I can't find any way to fix it. I'm so Fing sick of adobe programs not working at their most basic fing level. I'm ****** off. My time is being wasted, and therefore my performance is being negatively impacted at my workplace. I've spent over 2 hours researching a problem that shouldn't even exist, and I still don't have a usable file containing the appropriate video content. WTF. Before&After9 doesn't play. Nothing else put in that page plays. The printing video works fine.

4. Make "Organize Pages" better

   In "Orgamize Pages", the functionality is horrible. Bookmarks don't work (they won't go to their point page and cannot be set)! Search doesn't work either (you have to exit to full view to find terms)!
   
   I want to be able to see my searched term highlighted within the Organize Pages view AND I want to see a list with previews of searched-term with surrounding words AND I want to set and use bookmarks while having a birds-eye-view of the doc.
   Nothing else works when in Organize Pages and the view is practically UNUSABLE. There is a TON of blank space between and around the page images - this reduces visilibilty of the images and does not add an value - it's not like that space is needed for menus or tools (since there is no functionality in this view).

5. SIGNATURE FORMAT CONTROL - ACROBAT PRO DC

   Acrobat Pro DC does not provide much flexibility for formatting the signature block. While the ability to add a graphic image is great, designing the text portion is very restricted... too restricted. There is an option for field headers... I don't need these. I need to be able to simply list my name on 1 line, title on another, company name on a third line, and automated date and time stamp when signed. The configuration of doing this, is nearly impossible, and a real mess. This needs to be simple and intuitive like 1000's of other applications out there that provide used control for similar requirements. The entire method for configuring signatures is clunky and a bit goofy. Also, the right side screen fly-out menu for selecting the various functions, like Certificates, is weird and a waste of space. Adobe is trying to be too 'special' here. Adobe programmers work on this stuff every day, all day. Average users don't, so we need something intuitive that doesn't frustrate us. Pro DC is frustrating. Time to regroup and ditch the 'cool look' antics, and go back to the basics. Focus on adding features, not window dressing that provides a lot of unnecessary confusion. Love the product in general... but you've done way better in the past. Looking forward to Acrobat Pro XYZ, or whatever wild name the next one comes with. Thx.

6. Erase in Paint and Edit in Adobe

   In an earlier version of DC I could erase the wrong information in paint, save and close that page. Go back to the original document open a text box and enter the correct information. I try this with this new version and everything messes up. I was in a chat with one of your techs yesterday for almost 3 hours trying to do what I need to do in the 2020 version of Adobe DC. And it looks horrible, takes a lot of time and I hate it. Please Please Please fix this. I have been looking at peoples complaints and suggestions for hours trying to find this. I would like to know if you can do something with this before the trial is up and I go back to my other version. HELP!!!!

7. Language dropdown menu not in alphabetical order

   If you're using a non-English version of Acrobat, the dropdown menu that appears when selecting the option to Convert a PDF file to a Word or Power Point file is not in alphabetical order. I'm using the Spanish version (see attached picture) and, as you can see, since German is "Alemán" in Spanish, I'd expect it to find it where the A is, not where the G is. Can you please fix this? This is horrible to see and work with, and I'd wager it isn't that difficult to change. Thank you.

8. Option to Remove Plus Sign "Create a PDF" Button from Toolbar

   I don't want to have the plus sign "Create a PDF" button in the toolbar. I never use any of the three actions mousing over that button does, and I'm always accidentally mousing over it when I'm trying to move the application around on my screen. I will have to disable new Acrobat because this button messes up my workflow. I hope this can be fixed before the older Acrobat display is discontinued.

9. Request e-signatures loops back to fresh form

   After adding a signer, proceeding to fill form fields loops back to document with no signer listed. Also, no longer able to add myself as a signer under "More Options", which also just loops back to document with no signer listed. THIS APP IS NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL AND I CANNOT REQUEST SIGNATURES. Continuing to mess with the UI in updates makes no sense - with every update I have to figure out how to navigate to perform the most basic e-signature. If it ain’t broke DON’T FIX IT. 11. Remove "Create" Button On Top Menu Bar

    Please go back to the old interface! Or let us customize where all the buttons are located and if we want them to show at all. The new "Create" button on the top bar next to the document tabs takes up so much space and is so sensitive that if I have more than 3 documents open at once, I can't move the window around on the screen. You can only click to the right of the tabs to drag the window on your screen and now there's a big create button and 4 icons that don't really need to be there at all, plus a huge blank space before the minimize button. This effectively kills my ability to do most of my work as I often am comparing a document to something in another window and can't move the Acrobat window on the screen at all.
    Also, the AI Assist - please let me remove that button, and put a checkbox to select "don't show this pop-up again" because I'm physically dreading every PDF I have to open right now. Any time I click on anything, it seems like I get at least 2 different pop-ups for things I do not want.
    All of the tools have moved around, and the left sidebar that keeps opening every time I open a new document is horrible. It takes up so much real estate in the window. Same with the right. When I open a document, I can't see the entire page unless I zoom out because there are all these menu bars on top of it.
    The entire interface and functionality is absolutely terrible and has given me nothing but trouble since it was installed.

    The new version is really horrible (removing the snapshot tool - the most useful tool in the whole program - great idea guys - and the "Disable New Acrobat Reader line DOESN'T EVEN WORK!), but one especially bad feature is that the new version sets the printer to use the lightest possible ink density. The resulting prints are so light they are almost unreadable. I've compared printed copies of the same document printed from the old and new versions of acrobat and it's definitely the new version at fault. I can't adjust the print density from the print dialog box. Awesome.

    For example, I needed to redact a PDF, it only let me select text but the PDF was improperly created so the text colums were all over the place.
    All I needed to do was drop a simple redcatiion box, SIMPLE

    Fire your project manager, get some real users in there and have them lead the product not these useless PM's who feel they can only justify their employment by bloating the **** out of Adobe.

    Ok, rant over. Meanwhile, I'm off to look at Foxit.

14. Adobe Sign--Multiple Bugs

    I haven't been able to send a PDF for signature for going on four hours. Now, I'm receiving the following error (internal server) screen, which doesn't disppear even after I've hit "OK." This follows errors in which Pro DC asked me if I was connected to the Internet (I was) and also asked me to sign out and sign back in again--I tried this, and Pro DC wouldn't actually allow me to sign out. Then, upon restart, it asked for several minutes to install some update before returning to the aforementioned errors--i.e., Adobe Sign is a complete mess for me at the moment.

    What garbage software , someone sent me a pdf form as a attachment through hot mail i opened it with regular adobe acrobat trying to add text to fill out the form, Said i needed to upgrade to adobe pro so signed up for the week trial, adobe acrobat updated and i tried to add text to the form again. Nope ...it is a XFA form and Adobe Pro wont allow me to edit or do anything with it. l learned XFA is Adobes own file system too like WTF. I tried to undue my week trial, as Adode Pro is no good with the XFA form, but always get errors. Go figure. Maybe Adobe should stick to making software for browser games. Adobe Flash was the best thing it ever created.

16. Why is everything so much more cumbersome to use in Acrobat DC than Acrobat XI?

    It seems like every simple task I was used to doing in Acrobat XI takes more clicks and time to perform in Acrobat DC. Seriously, what can this version do that makes this upgrade worthwhile? So far, it's a complete disaster.

18. Too difficult to use.

    Creating pdf's used to be simple. I know because I have used acrobat for 30 years. It has become a complete mess. I have tried for 30 minutes to add jpegs to a single pdf and it is still not right. Get some UX people who really know how to communicate. I can't believe how difficult this simple task has become. Sorry but it is true. I have the Adobe Creative Suite so I'm not unfamiliar with adobe. I have used photoshop for 20 years, illustrator for 20 years, premiere pro, InDesign for as long as it has been out, all of it. Acrobat should be simple.

    It's moronic that I can't license more than two machines without having to establish a new email address. Rather than give you more money, I'll just remove it from the other machine. I'd rather give you more money, but that's not an option.

20. Glitch Deleted All My work

    While editing a document, it glitched, shut down, and deleted about 2 hours worth of work, seemingly irretrievably. For a product that I pay for, this is pretty unacceptable, and burying your feedback options behind a separate website and login only further shows how little you care about consumer experience.

    My idea: if you want customers to feel like you actually care about their experience on your substandard product, don't force them to a separate webpage and make them log in again just to tell you when you mess up. Nothing more clearly shows that a company that can't care less about the users they exploit than making feedback difficult and cumbersome.

    While editing a document, it glitched, shut down, and deleted about 2 hours worth of work, seemingly irretrievably. For a product that I pay for, this is pretty unacceptable, and burying your feedback options behind a separate website and login only further shows how little you care about consumer experience.

    My idea: if you want customers to feel like you actually care about their experience on your substandard product, don't force them to a separate webpage and make them log in again just to tell you when you mess up. Nothing more clearly shows that a company that can't care… more
