1. Your sign in process is idiotic. I don't have 20 minutes every day to pick cars and road signs. Please fix or I will cancel my subscription.

   Fix the sign in process! Figure out an easier way to verify users. This is a complete waste of my time and the function does not work properly.

2. Issues with Microsoft Powerpoint and saving PDF in OS 10.13.5

   Hi there! Can you please fix this issue?Whenever I am saving any Microsoft file (ie Powerpoint, Word) as a PDF in the 10.3.5 recent update it is really messing up my file. The fonts are all messed up, the hyperlink is incorrect, etc. Please fix this ASAP!

3. need options when editing

   When I edit a document, I do not necessarily want to edit existing text. I do not want Acrobat to do an OCR process on the document and create uncountable text boxes (that can easily be messed up), when all I wanted to do was either crop the image or add a text box. Please allow the OCR conversion to be toggled off.
   Also when scanning, if you go into an option like increase resolution, all of the changes (like selection of document size) made on the previous screen are lost and have to be entered again Too time consuming!

4. Filling in text always messes up in strange ways

   I pay for the Adobe CC. I love all the apps but Acrobat, which is now unusable. Not because I can't figure out the interface, but because the program is so buggy as to
   be essentially unusable. Just trying to type text in a text box causes everything to go haywire and suddenly part of the text I've been typing at the bottom of the document appears all over in random places on the other pages of the document. Sometimes as I'm typing it stops working altogether and I can no longer access the text box. It will even crash the entire program and make me lose all my work. It isn't a hardware issue, because if I need more computing power than I'm running just to use acrobat then there is something seriously wrong with acrobat (maybe take the AI out if that is causing all the problems?)

   I don't want AI. I don't care about learning a new interface. I just want the **** thing to work and it doesn't.

5. BUG: Form Fields Disappear, Can't Modify Name or Tooltip

   Fields become "ghost fields"; they still show up in the sidebar on the right and you can still open their properties. However, you cannot select the form field and type text in it. You also can't change the properties, like name and tooltip fields; when you try to, and click away from the field you just changed, they revert back with no notification. This happens every time I open this file in a different application, such as an Accessibility plug-in called CommonLook, and has happened with other files too. Fixing tags in the plug-in causes forms to break in Acrobat, which means I have to go back and fix the form fields in Acrobat, which messes up the tags and tag order again... etc. etc.

I'm paying you money for your service, and on the side, you take money from another company, BASICALLY THET PAID A TECH HITMAN, to try with all you have to make it a legal "hit", but, com'on now, it's still really and truly an IMMORAL action to install something sneaky and hope i dont notice. Is that what im paying for every month??? no choice of what you INJECT INTO MY COMPUTER?? Adobe in this age of consequence culture you should know no one company is too big to fail. if you don't stop I'm taking my business open source again. I only initiated my CONTRACT with you for ease of others in my work group. 7. Improve Colour Picker in Comments Section

   Why oh why? Why Acrobat are you relying on Apple Colour Picker?

   Adobe makes some of the advanced Graphics editing software in the world.

   Please improve the colour picker for Acrobat. Just add the Photoshop or Indesign or Illustrator or..... Aftereffects...... or maybe even premiere colour picker to acrobat.

   Right now on a mac I get forced to open the apple rectangle properties box, that then forces me to open an apple colour picker dialog box.

   And I can't just hit enter to close it I actually have to go click on the tiny little Apple picker X to close it, which pops me back into some weird Apple shape properties picker. Which I also have to close before I can continue working. It's like 4 clicks to just to change colour of a rectangle or stroke.

   I mean the whole thing is a mess.

   If you want a good example of how to do it look at Apple Preview.

   I can pick colour, I can pick thickness, I can pick transparent, I can choose fill or stroke colour very easily without having to go 2x deep into two dialog boxes outside of your software.

8. Adobe Acrobat Pro: Compare Files - improvement

   1. Unable to remove Summary page from first pages.

   2. Ability to delete both Summary page and Compare Results using Organize Pages.
      I can delete the Compare Results page using Organize Pages, but the Summary page is not visible in Organize pages, even though it still exists with the other pages.

   3. There is no need to share pages like Summary page and Compare Results with coworkers. These extra 2 pages extend the document unnecessarily. I'm not the only one looking for such a solution - I found the following posts in Adobe Community:

11. Recent release (2025.001.20668) Crashes when scrolling pages

    The most recent release of Acrobat Pro as of 09/11/2025 on Mac OS Sequoia is buggy and at times almost unusable. At times I can't even scroll pages without the application hanging up. I need to force quit periodically when navigating through my document. With Adobe's continual attempt to add new features such as AI components, you bombard users with all your new brilliant ideas without fixing all the problems you morons either create or overlook.

12. Being able to reopen a document due to person messing up

    I've had two instances so far where being able to reopen the document would have been advantageous instead of canceling the contract and starting all over again.

    The first time was when the signer filled in the wrong information and the second time was the last signer, the official signer was unable to complete her signature, something happened and only two letters of her name was recorded on the document.

13. Remember / make default sorting order in advanced search

    When you use Advanced Search, there is an option at the bottom to choose your sort order: you can sort by Filename, Date Modified, Location or Relevance Ranking.

    The default is Relevance Ranking, which –to me at least – is by far the least useful, since, unlike the others, it basically reorders the files you’re searching in with every search, so you never know what order your files are going to be in.

    And there’s no way to change the default (as acknowledged by an Adobe employee here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/advanced-search-default-sorting-acrobat-pro-dc/m-p/9914022).

    And then even if you choose another option, Acrobat FORGETS this immediately once you search for a different term. Goes straight back to Relevance Ranking. Extremely frustrating when you’re performing many sequential searches and would really like to have the files you’re searching in appear in the same order every time.

    The entire Advanced Search window is a huge mess of terrible UI design and missing functionality, but the inability to have ANY kind of impact on how your search results are listed is probably the worst. It makes Advanced Search an absolute nightmare to work with.

    PLEASE fix this glaring omission!

14. Need help deciding how to deploy Acrobat via Patch My PC and Intune

    • All users must have either Reader or Pro

    • About 150 users have a Pro license while 350 do not.

    • Patch My PC detects the following deployed to our devices:
      Adobe Reader DC Continuous MUI 350 installs

    Adobe Reader DC Continuous 250 installs (This is a Update Only MSP file)

    Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous 300 installs

    Adobe Acrobat Pro 250 installs X Trench Run

    I could set some form of Reader as Required on all devices, but I think that may downgrade existing Pro users.

    I could uninstall everything and set some form of Pro as required, then try to suppress the login popup box so unlicensed users don't get nagged to sign in.

    I could just leave the mess as it is and Update Only all of it, but because nothing is set as Required new devices won't have Adobe installed.

    What is the difference between Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous and Adobe Acrobat Pro? They both have the white Pro icon in Patch My PC but they are detected as different installs.

    How do you all use Patch My PC to deal with Adobe? What is the best way to set some form of it as Required for all devices?

16. Bug in coverting PDF to WORD on MAC - need your help

    This may be a bug. I use InDesign to create an very important annual booklet. I export it to PDF and then break it apart and convert to WORD so that I can send individual sections to contributors so they can make edits for new year's book. In April, I had no problems and I have done this for 8 years now. See attached. We received an update and now, as of July, when I convert the same document, the formatting is all messed up. For me to get a good version to my contributors it would take me hours to clean it up. If I send it to them as PDF, they cannot make online edits because most do not have professional Acrobat. One thing I did notice that is different in the new version, when you select to save as WORD, the version options say WORD or WORD 97-2003. In the previous version before the update, the choices were WORD or WORD 97-2004. I always chose the 97-2004 version because it did the conversion cleaner. Now I cannot use either version. I need some serious help because this is a very important book for our County. I have no option to get an editable copy to my contributors now. Please help me!!!! I have attached the April version, the July version and the original PDF that the two WORD versions are drawn from. I am using MAC with Sierra version and the PDF is 2017 .009.20058 and WORD is Version 15.36 for 2017

    With the release of Acrobat on 2nd Oct, 2018, this issue has been addressed.

    If your product is not already updated, you can manually do so from within the product. Click on the menu Help→ Check for updates.

17. Update was Terrible

    The recent update completely messed up how Adobe works on my desktop. pdf files are not opening and the system is not working at all. I have to access Adobe services online which is not ideal in my business

18. "Edit any PDF"

    Please stop sending out emails that say it is quick and easy to edit a PDF without qualifying what is possible and what the consequences are. I have several clients who now think it is possible to edit PDFs, but the reality is that it is NOT possible to do so professionally.

    The end result of clients editing PDFs is that version control is lost from the original files that generated the PDF, artwork needs to be recreated to match the edited PDF and because there appears to be no way of tracking what the client has changed, the clients then need to re-proof the entire document. The clients are also unable to make any form of accurate edits as they don't generally have the correct fonts available.

    Edited PDFs are unsuitable/unreliable for sending to a printer for offset printing. You are unable to edit a PDF without spacing and alignments getting messed up and you simply do not have enough control to maintain anything other then the most basic layout.

    It is reckless, unprofessional and incredibly frustrating that you continue to send emails out encouraging people to edit PDFs. It is costing people a lot of time and incurring unnecessary costs to fix files when someone edits a PDF.

    Until you have the technology to make this feasible could you please stop claiming that editing PDFs is a good idea, or to be encouraged.

    it is NEVER a good idea to edit a PDF. A PDF is simply a format for delivering the final document. It should never be treated as a live file to be worked on.

19. Ability to Save As PDF from within Acrobat Pro

    Acrobat Pro Feature Request

    I have a document that is approximately 6x3". I need to output this document to two different PDF deliverable files:

    1) at the 6"x3" size, for use on a tiny screen

    and

    2) on 8.5"x11" size with 3 tiny pages per sheet, for efficient printout on standard paper or viewing in PDF

    I save my source content to the 6"x3" size and get a beautiful PDF file. Deliverable 1 looks great.

    But, I cannot save my source content to PDF with multiple pages per sheet (from Word).

    Also, from Acrobat, I cannot save the output 1 file to a PDF with 3 pages per sheet to get high-quality deliverable #2 files.

    The workaround I'm currently using (which results in poor image quality, mostly dumb/broken PDF file, and virtually no control over settings): I PRINT the option 1 deliverable to the Printer "Adobe PDF", under Page Sizing & Handling, select Multiple > Pages per sheet: Custom, 1 by 3; Page order: Vertical. Refer to the attached screenshot of my printer settings and the print preview for what I'm trying to achieve.

    The result is a pretty ugly, useless PDF file. But, it's printable on normal office paper (double-sided if you like). A Save As option that allows alignment of multiple pages on one PDF page would solve the whole messy problem and save steps, too. (Happy customers and document readers!)

    Summary: I would like to be able to Save As PDF from within Acrobat Pro and have the option of laying out the pages as shown in my work-around screenshot. This way, the image quality, hyperlinks, etc. will work and be optimal.

    Acrobat Pro Feature Request

    I have a document that is approximately 6x3". I need to output this document to two different PDF deliverable files:

    1) at the 6"x3" size, for use on a tiny screen

    and

    2) on 8.5"x11" size with 3 tiny pages per sheet, for efficient printout on standard paper or viewing in PDF

    I save my source content to the 6"x3" size and get a beautiful PDF file. Deliverable 1 looks great.

    But, I cannot save my source content to PDF with multiple pages per sheet (from Word).

    Also, from Acrobat, I cannot save the output 1… more

20. exported xlxs file or doc file from pdf file is messed up

    please see attached pdf file and the converted file in MS excel and MS word. PC win10 user here.
