  2. Automatically open page thumbnails view when inserting pages

    I have to drag and drop alot of pages between pdfs. I keep forgetting to open the page thumbnails view in the new pdf before dragging selected pages to the new pdf. I have to stop go back, open pages thumbnail and then redrag the pages, which is unnecessary. If I hover over the page thumbnails icon in the new pdf with selected pages, it should just open in my opinion.

  3. Double popups when extracting pages

    Open a multi-page document. Go to the "Organize pages" tool. Right click a page thumbnail in the righthand view. In the popup menu, click "Extract Pages". A dialog window pops up where you can select the page to extract, whether to delete the extracted page, and whether to extract each page as a separate document. After a moment, a second popup appears on the tool pane, with a duplication of the latter two options.

    The Acrobat team really, really likes popups, eh?

  4. Searching for a Tool Doesn't Teach You Where to Find It Next Time...

    I have been searching for the "Take Snapshot" tool which used to be on I believe the Edit menubar dropdown. Now, it's no longer there and I can't find it listed among the various icons. I use the search bar and it pops up.

    Not three seconds later, I want to use it again.... it's completely gone. There's no indication what menu it is on or any method to locate it for the future.

    What is so offensive about this new UX is not that you moved everything... that sucks, but it we would learn eventually the new layout.…

  5. Highlighting Issue

    I am not able to remove a highlighted text in the new version.Please solve my issue.I tried multiple times using the standard procedure of

    "single-click on the area of highlighted text you wish to remove.
    A small toolbox will appear with two options, allowing you to change the color of your highlight or delete the highlight altogether.
    To remove your highlight, click the trash can icon."

    I tried this multiple times-but not working.

  7. BUG - can't edit fields in a form

    I open a pdf and go to tools > prepare form> open then select a form.

    As soon as I click on 'add a field' or an existing field, a stopwatch icon appears and Adobe closes. So I can't edit a form which makes a fillable pdf form impossible. Given the fee I pay every month I am NOT happy.

    Yes I have the most current version, Yes I tried the 'repair Adobe' option.

  8. Killing Acrobat with "updates"

    Why do you insist on killing the ease with which users can access options in Acrobat with your new feature "updates"

    I used to be able to hit the mail icon in the top and attach to a mail file in an instant, now you've upgraded this "feature" by making it an expanding sidebar and burying the email option in drop-downs.

    Stop thinking you are improving Adobe products when clearly you are not.

    This is pathetic.

    Hi,

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (19.021.20049) containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  9. alt text issue

    We have had issues with alt text being duplicated into the actual text field when using the right click to access alt text or using the order panel to access alt text. The only way it is not duplicated is if alt text is entered via the tags panel properties method.

  13. Unable to view Portfolio PDF online or in email.

    When you combine PDFs containing signatures they are saved as a portfolio. When sending the PDF file it is not accessible within the email document itself nor directly from the downloaded tab. All you see is a giant "Get Adobe Reader " icon. It's confusing since I have Adobe Reader...apparently you have to go to your download folder, right click on PDF file and select "open with" Adobe Reader in order to access it.     -The new update has the "Fill in Form Field" button in a prominent place on the toolbar and it is the only text looking button in the default toolbar. Everyone in my design office mistakenly thought it was the text box tool and was extremely frustrated trying to redline documents.     Yahoo emails can vanish because of accidental deletion, automated filtering (e.g., spam or trash), account hacking, sync errors, or server problems. Look in the Trash, Spam, and All Mail folders first. Check filters or forwarding settings in Yahoo Mail Settings, and make sure no unauthorized access took place.

    Only due to my extremely helpful customer service rep, Gurjeet Singh, do I now understand that all the tools on my Acrobat Pro tools page are included in my current subscription - even those that say "Add" rather than "Open." Before I bought the subscription - and was using/purchasing tools on a onesy-twosy basis, "Add" indicated "not purchased," it is very confusing (and misleading) to use the same word on the subscription interface page.   20. BUG: Duplication of character when trying to add accented letters

    Rewriting this to fit the desired bug reporting format:

    Steps to reproduce the issue
    1. In a pdf choose 'Add text'
    2. Press and hold a character that has accented versions, eg. 'a'
    3. Choose the desired accented character

    Expected result
    The single accented character desired

    Observed result
    It inserts both the unaccented and accented characters simultaneously.

    Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.):
    Acrobat build version: Build: 23.6.20380.0
    OS: Mac Sonoma

    I assume this is a bug as no other programme works like that. In fact typing this now in this form and adding the accented character worked perfectly.
