  2. Tried forwarding using Microsoft Outlook, even though the file is listed in Adobe when the email attachment is added and you try to open Adobe says it cannot find the file.

    The idea of using Cloud Storage as a default is a bad idea, i do not want items going trough Cloud Storage.

  3. Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
    Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?

  5. Please give an option to disable or set as default 'me' for your new tool which you have forced everyone to use 'fill and sign'. You obviously have not considered your users who have to open hundreds of forms and having to select this unnecessary option every single time.

  6. When sending out a document for review via Adobe DC, an email is generated that notifies the recipient of the review. The email notification defaults to PST. Please include an Adobe Document Cloud Account Preference option that includes an option to set a time zone so the local time zone is accurate when deadlines are emailed to the recipient.
    A time zone setting is available in the preferences for your signature settings but not for the document review.

  7. For some weird reason I probably tried Acrobat Pro DC but always had Acrobat. Since the trial expired I keep getting an error message saying I cannot access the features I normally used to even though I could have before this new Pro DC thingy!

  8. Please make a selection to define a standard printer.

    I have two printers in use with my MacBook Pro.

    1x label printer

    1x inkjet printer

    Adobe Acrobat always uses the label printer and not the default printer.

    In the system settings, the default printer is the inkjet printer.

    All programs, regardless of whether they are Office or system programs, recognize this device, but not Adobe.

  9. Sharing documents via Acrobat is unstable.

    I quite often open the 'Shared by you' tab to have it load indefinitely and never show documents. Occasionally it gives me the message that there are no shared documents.

    Furthermore, often once I do finally open a shared document, I see the message 'Loading shared comments' indefinitely.

    The whole process seems unreliable, slow and full of bugs.

  10. Disable "Show Online Storage" by default. The extra window it forces open is a total waste of time, and there is no way a sane person would ever guess that that you would have to go to Preferences General, and uncheck something called "Show Online Storage" to eliminate the waste of time that it is when trying to save documents.
    Disable by default, or move the functionality elsewhere.

  11. Acrobat DC Pro Field Transparency tick box missing. Mac 10.13.4

    Prepare form makes fields with transparent Fill/Boarder.
    Create a check box. Boarder black / Fill White by default. Go to properties / Appearance to change. Open colour pallet. Transpanrecy option no longer there.
    Spoke to tech support. On for an hour on my screen. Windows version fine their end so defo Mac bug with High Sierra. They gave me a Jscript to work around but only works on single fields at a time.
    NEEDS SORTING FAST PLEASE!

    Running fresh install of desktop Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I frequently have multiple large (100+ page) documents open while working with other applications (Office suite, browser). When I navigate to a pdf I need to reference the document has gone blank even though pages are still there.   13. I have a selection (arrow) type of cursor set as default. In the full screen mode it changes to hand tool (which I don't mind). But when I exit from full screen mode, cursor is still in hand (pan) mode. It should switch back to the selection tool.

  14. Admin Console's current Auditing system is fairly surface-level, it would be good to have more advanced auditing abilities. I believe every page that can be edited should have some kind of logging implemented and viewable on the
    audit.
    Example: We had some users who were being kicked out every 30 minutes because the default setting on one admin console which we didn't even know they were assigned to, this should have been set to the default "don't log out ever"

  15. It would be helpful to have Adobe Pro 2020 default to the PDF icon when inserting a PDF as an object and then displaying as an icon in Microsoft Word.

    It is possible to search for the icon and set it manually but it will always default back to C:\Windows\System32\ole32.dll, making the user have to manually set the icon every time.

  16. While the fact that Adobe provides McAfee security for free as part of Acrobat is nice for those that want it, those of us that don't should not be forced to have it installed. Personally I hate McAfee. I use a different company for my computer/internet security and it's expensive, so when McAfee self-downloads and declares itself the default security system on my computer it makes me very unhappy.

    Basically I just wasted a bunch of time and money because I thought I had the Yahoo search redirect virus on my computer. Turns out even though I had uninstalled McAfee…

  17. Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) Purview Labels show on Adobe reader by default upon install for Classification only labels.
    When you are in Adobe Reader by default it does not show if there is a Sensitivity Label applied unless it has encryption. Would be good to have this on by default for all companies so when I share Confidential content they know this is labeled as such even though encryption is not there.
    It seems the feature is there because I can make 2 Registry edits and it now shows there is a label and I get the option to change…

  18. How about moving all of the buttons with useful features out of the bottom right corner? I'm not sure how this is a surprise but when I receive a notification, email, TEAMS message, update message, every single one of them obscures all the buttons that have been inexplicably placed in one of the only high-traffic corners of a screen when using an application.

  19. eye tracking tool is used in cameras. if user agree to be tracked, document can be linked to camera of laptop or tablet or mobile phone. so document reading becomes more interactive. this information is stored in the document and this tracking info can be tagged to document and emailed to acrobat document creator (teacher). who can analyze this data, will determine that you have read the document or not, where you felt the difficulty and it will help him to plan the lesson/ flipped class room session. it can be used for assessment of learning in…

  20. When PDF documents are being shared via Adobe Share (f/k/a Track & Send) it appears with a California Time Stamp, not the Date/Time from the sender, this needs to be corrected as date/time stamping is very important.
