deleting pdf files
I am a sports photographer. Mostly tennis. I might take 200 photos of a particular player. My intention is to sell the images to the players/parents. I have to send a PDF file of all the images for them to look at. When I send the file they may just copy the images, regardless of the fact I have put a logo over the images. Some people are happy with that. Some just keep the images with the logo over the top. It means I do not get paid. I want to be able to…

Acrobat Pro DC fails to recognize text with "Unknown error" repeatedly
I have a page that I have scanned 5 times using "PDF Producer: Adobe Photoshop for Windows -- Image Conversion Plug-in". This creates a valid pdf when exported as "Photoshop PDF/*.pdf", but repeated fails when Tools | Enhance Scans | Recognize Text is selected. I have repeated the scan numerous times, and have generated a fresh pdf using this process 5 times, with the same error each time. I have attached the pdf for use in bug reporting

print breaks
I would like to be able to insert print breaks (force next page to print on top page in duplex).
Currently, the only way to do this is to add a blank page, however, this looks very odd when viewing the electronic version versus the printed copy. It would be nice if there was a way to force certain pages to be treated as a first page for printing purposes (conceptually similar to how a page break forces the next line of text onto the next page)

The superscript specified when entering an annotation becomes a subscript in the annotation list.
OS: Windows10
Version: Acrobat DC continuous Release 2020.013.20074 (ja_JP)Step to reproduce.
1. Switch to the annotation tool and select the text on the PDF.
2. Start typing from the keyboard and enter the correction details to open a window and display the input details. Click Text Properties and specify a superscript for the text in the window.
3. When we press the post button, it will be reflected in the list of annotations, but the superscript part will change to subscript. This bug exists only on Windows. Superscripts are reflected normally on macOS.
Expected result
Superscripts are displayed normally…5 votes -
Editing Text
Hi
I produce this pdf file, so that at a later date i can change the date. I've selected the edit tool in adobe pro and when i start to type in the date i want, the text moves from the bottom of the page to half way up the page. (as you will see from the pdf file attached)
I am doing this on a windows 7 machine.
On the other pages i dont have a problem. The pages of pdf are set up the same way, so I'm unclear as to what the problem is with this page.

More Contrast Acrobat Bookmark Icon - Make the 'ribbon icon' more prominent for the selected page.
Rather than having the bookmark icon for the selected page 'slightly darker' give it higher contrast for easier navigation - see image

compare pdf
For ComparePDF, I hope there will be a way to make this side by side view switch to vertical. So I could be looking at comparisons this way (combined two screenshots below):
I'm looking at financials with small font, so each line of text is fairly long.
In Side-By-Side view, zooming out makes the text too small; zooming in makes half of each line out of view.

Bug report: Scan & OCR>Correct recognized text: corrected text length no longer matches underlying text
1) Open the attached file in Adobe Pro DC.
2) Click on "Scan & OCR"
3) Click on "Correct recognized text"
4) Toggle on "Review recognized text"
5) In the "Recognized as" text area, change "th~" to "those"
6) Push Apply
7) Select Menu>Export a PDF>text (plain) and export a file and look at it.Notice after the correction, "those" slightly overlaps the word to the right of it and no longer matches the length of the underlying text of the image. Before the correction, there was a space between "th~" and "of", but after correction and export to…

Long File and folder path file opening
When a file and path name exceeds about 255 characters, which we have recently breached with backup systems, our archive PDFs do not open in Adobe. However, if we open them in other programs, they will open fine, but we need to be able to edit them, which leaves us having to copy the files out of their long path into a shorter path, make the changes, and copy the file back. If other programs have the ability to open long file paths, then it should be able to do so in a 64 bit digital age.

sign in sucks ***
I have a work license, a personal license, one through my church, etc. Somehow, I can't create a simple PDF on a home computer without signing in half a dozen time. You have made it so miserable i'm ready to look for other solutions. Acrobat used to be awesome. it is now miserable and unusable.

taking a long time to render page elements
Acrobat Pro DC 2020 is taking a long time to render page elements. Mac Preview shows the pages fast, but Acrobat takes about a minute to show all page elements. Screen shot comparison (body copy pixelated for security):

Reader DC icons don't work, right click, top icons - page rotate, crop page, and others - W7/32
Right click, the icons at the top of the box for page rotate and crop result in an error message "Acrobat has encountered a problem. Some features may not work as expected." Others also result in this error message, it is VERY common. Accepting this via "OK" button causes a blank pop-up window to appear. To what point? It's blank!
These are silly errors that should have been sorted before this was released (and no one has bothered to fix). Users are being used as guinea pigs! If it's a beta release than users should have been told. Reality is…

Comments pane still lags in Acrobat DC
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- Open Acrobat DC
- Click the Comments pane button
Environment: MacOS 10.14.6; other Adobe apps active are Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Bridge
Expected result: The Comments pane should immediately appear.
Observed result: What I get instead is a spinning beach ball for way too long. THIS IS THE CASE EVEN WHEN THERE ARE NO COMMENTS!

Problems with new version
Two features essential to me are either gone or hidden so that I can't find them in the new version. They are important for me in my work as a translator.
In the previous version, there was a "windows" tab at the top that enabled me to open a second copy of the same file and then drag it so that the two copies appeared as separate tabs in a single Acrobat window. This enabled me to jump back and forth between two pages in the same file, for example between the text page I'm working on and the relevant…

Make "Organize Pages" better
In "Orgamize Pages", the functionality is horrible. Bookmarks don't work (they won't go to their point page and cannot be set)! Search doesn't work either (you have to exit to full view to find terms)!
I want to be able to see my searched term highlighted within the Organize Pages view AND I want to see a list with previews of searched-term with surrounding words AND I want to set and use bookmarks while having a birds-eye-view of the doc.
Nothing else works when in Organize Pages and the view is practically UNUSABLE. There is a TON of blank…2 votes -
Comments have very tiny text when selected
Have to copy text from Acrobat pdf comments constantly. It is impossible to read when the comment box is open (clicked to copy text). Why does it have to change size from the open comment column when clicked? Please fix this, makes jobs take twice as long as they need to.

The pasted image exceeds the maximum width of the page
The new features Suggested:
1) When the clipboard picture exceeds the maximum width of the page, the width of the picture is automatically adjusted to the width of the current page, and the height of the picture is scaled proportionally.
2) The width (or height) of the pasted picture can be adjusted, instead of the current one, the width and height can be adjusted simultaneously according to the original picture ratio.
Looking forward to your attention and improvement

Search is grouping results so that "next" button does not work as expected.
This does not happen on all documents, but it does on many. I can email a document to you privately if needed.
When using search, the results are grouped so that when clicking the "next" button to move to the next result, it instead moves to the next group of results. This also happens in the full advanced search (see screen shot). Match counts are incorrect and it's easy to miss matches when using the simple search to move through matches. We need the "next" button to take us to the next instance of the search term…
