  2. When I prepare a form (Mac), I want to be able to choose the font size for all the text fields instead of having it default to Auto. I also want to be able to batch change font size in multiple text fields instead of having to do it one by one. Thanks for listening!

  3. As of February 2021, when typing text into a field with font size set to Auto, the text does not show to the signer as having autosized itself. It appears as the same size, but if there is more text than will fit in the space of the field, an ellipsis appears at the end and the text shows as cut off. It does appear autosized correctly when the final document is created (after all parties have signed). But users consistently report back a problem when they see that the text appears that it will be cut off in…

  4. In previous versions when selecting text, the menu that shows up would stay open and the text would stay selected if Ctrl+C was pressed.

In the most recent update, the menu now closes and the text is deselected. This kills workflow, please change it back to the original functionality.

  5. Highlighting Troubles -►Make the hit block smaller ►or the hitbox the same size as the highlighted text.

Issue - When highlighting text very close to adjacent highlighted text, the highlighted text becomes selected instead of Adobe allowing the curser to select unhighlighted text to be highlighted. Trying to select the unhighlighted text is very difficult. I have to zoom way into the text to highlight it, this takes up a lot of my time when checking through a thousand lines of a document.

  6. The process for adding alt text is rather onerous, especially for pdfs created from jpegs or other image files. It requires typing in all of the text and doesn't provide for an easy way to separate out sections of a pdf, as in a poster with a varied layout, such as a biographical poster with a photo, titles, subtitles, etc.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future.

  7. All out comments are done with text boxes, text callout boxes, lines and arrows (as opposed to the sticky-note style comment). When we select any of those tools, they stay selected, i.e. when I draw a callout box and type, then click off of it, all I do is create yet another callout box. I have to click the arrow at the top of that pane to deselect it, then click AGAIN to manually move or resize my box. Previous Adobe version, did not "stick" when I selected a text box or callout box or an arrow or line from…

  9. stop taking over and exporting my Microsoft Word office documents saved in pdf form. When using my Word office then saving docs to pdf they are now opening in adobe acrobat dc. I use to be able to save my docs in pdf form, open them with my microsoft office and add signatures and write text on them through that program. Now when I save a document it AUTOMATICALLY is converted into an adobe pdf and opens in adobe dc WHICH I DO NOT WANT! I should have the OPTION on choosing which program opens my pdf. If…

  10. Have to copy text from Acrobat pdf comments constantly. It is impossible to read when the comment box is open (clicked to copy text). Why does it have to change size from the open comment column when clicked? Please fix this, makes jobs take twice as long as they need to.

  11. Using a form, one can easily insert images and they will automatically resize when using Adobe Acrobat on a computer; however, this same features does NOT work when using the Adobe Acrobat app on an iPhone. Could you please add this feature to the app as it would be very helpful for inserting pictures into a form and having them automatically resize? I would use this feature for construction site inspections, and I imagine other people would find it helpful too if they didn't have to resize an image each time it was inserted. Thank you for your consideration…

  13. When the "Create Links from URLs" feature is turned on, Adobe is creating invalid links over existing links when the text of the link wraps.

Please refer to the attached image example.

In this example you can clearly see the following link:
    https://energycodeace.com/site/custom/public/reference-ace-2013/index.html#!Documents/14whatsnewfor2013.htm

However, as you can see in the example, the link is very long and wraps the "2013.htm" portion of the link to a new line. The document already contains a link for the whole URL but the "Create Links from URLs" feature is appending a new URL from only the first line of text. This is…

  14. If i have a bunch of pdfs that i want to convert to forms it would be great if we could make a style template that would be applied to the group of documents, a default that sticks instead of having to choose the font size, font face, and alignment etc for every document ...
also when the document opens i might want to select a group of "multi-page documents" to batch process and tell the interpreter to only make the first page into a form, retain the original formatting of the rest of the pages or…

  15. When assigning the roles signer / approver there is an history option where AdobeSign showes previous used mailadresses. With the CC field in the new experience this option is no longer available. To my opinion this is a bug but support team is saying a new feature request is neccesary. Please make sure the functionality is available befre march 2025 as from that date you planned to only use the new experience.

  17. Form created in Designer 11, Using Acrobat XI Pro to extend file for users to fill-in forms using Reader DC or Std DC to save to server. After recent Reader update fields on forms that have a calculation have issues. When the file is closed then re-opened using ReaderDC the calculation fields are blank or zero. Win7 and Win10 PCs.

  18. When I enter text comments (comment --> add text comment), I can type onto the page as usual, but when I click away the comment becomes grayed out or transparent, so it is difficult to read without clicking back on the comment. I have explored all settings and have not been able to turn this off. I would like to have my text comments remain full color.

  19. After running OCR and then running correct, it sometimes doesn't recognize the entire word or a whole character and there's no way to override the incomplete recognition to ensure the entire word is corrected or to correct the partial recognition. If the user could override that recognition and select the full word or character, then correct it to be accurate. Then it would be fabulous if the program would automatically rerun to find similar configurations and offer to correct them throughout the entire file and show the results similar to an advanced search, to complete a quick survey and have…

  20. When trying to type with Add Text Comment on PDF document, Acrobat Stuck actually gets into an endless loop. You can close the document but type process is continuing. This is exit since around 6 months. I am sharing a video from the issue, you may watch with voice. I did uninstall and install the Acrobat, results was the same.
