  1. I am a Lecturer and I regularly mark scripts. It would be great of we could assess (mark) online on a pdf. There is not many online assessment tools out there. Learning is fast moving to the online space and being able to mark a pdf document will be excellent. I attached a file explaining detail of how it should work

  2. Hi, I found an annoying ongoing issue. I use my daily tools box set (left side of the program window, when the document is opened). But without any reason, it's time to time reset by default and again and again, I must collect my new own...
    The next one is about the tools line on top of the window it's seen before you do not open any document (in the Home tab), the same issue...

  3. The previous version of Acrobat commenting was simple and intuitive. You place your cursor and start typing for "insert", highlight and type automatically "replaces", highlight and delete automatically deletes. The new interface is slow, cumbersome, unintuitive and forces you to constantly change tool.

    Bring back contextual typing. I've downloaded an older version since this version is useless for comments.

  4. A dynamic date stamp tool that does NOT show the user's name and also does NOT show the time would be very helpful especially now while working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. My physical custom date stamper is in the office. We need a date but do not need my name or the time stamped on documents we receive. I was asked this morning to remove an Acrobat date stamp because management does not want my name on the date stamp.

  5. edited: After some browsing, is this true that it's a subscription-based option for users not to view this "floating toolbar"?

    Scenario is to open or make a document; the all tools menu pops out over the screen.

    request is to look In "Preference > General", there should be a new check box and indicating a user that can loads the app without "All Tools" or any tooling menus going to load without user's interaction. With user's interaction, on the screen after app is loaded, Notice the X button close these tools menus, but buttons above for tool menus exists.…

  6. Acrobat needs an eraser tool, much like the one provided in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. I work with old pdf images of recorded documents dating clear back to the 1800's; these documents have a lot of photographic "static", shadows images left by the camera which took the image photo, and these items need to be erased to give the document better readability. It is hard to describe without watching the process. If you want a demonstration, contact me and you can log into my computer and watch my process.

  7. All I need to do when reading a pdf is turn it from the two page 'standard' to a single page scrolling. This gets the file to the right size so that I can read it.
    This used to be on the top bar, View, and select the option. I can't find where you have hidden it, and neither the help nor the search tools brings it up as an option. Why have you made it so hard to do a basic operation that should be standard?

  8. Hello,

    I fill out a TON of documents as a freelancer and this software just is missing some simple things that would make my life so much easier. Can we please just get a drag and drop fill option for todays date under that tab next to the signature? This would save me so much hassle alone.

    Anyways, PLEASE PLEASE make this easier for people who are filling out documents as well as creating them. I feel like there are so many tools to create documents but none for the people filling them out.

  9. Acrobat Pro has stopped processing BPDX files again. This has been working for me for more than a year, and suddenly stopped working after 18 October 2022 (approximately Acrobat version 2022.003.20263).

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an Acrobat catalog index file; e.g. C:\Flare Destinations\MasterTerminal-PDFs\JMTIndex.pdx.
    2. Create a a BPDX file named C:\Flare Tools\PDFIndex.bpdx with the contents "C:\Flare Destinations\MasterTerminal-PDFs\JMTIndex.pdx /build"
    3. Run Acrobat from the Command Prompt with:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" "C:\Flare Tools\PDFIndex.bpdx"

    Environment:
    Windows 10 Pro 21H2 OS Build 19044.2130 and Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2022.003.20263

    Expected Result:
    Acrobat Pro will open and build the PDF…

  10. A customer described how he uses multiple colored pens to mark up printed drawings and wants to be able to do something similar with the Acrobat commenting tools. He requested the ability to setup multiple pen thicknesses and colors for easy access, similar to the way PowerPoint allows the creation of multiple pen styles (see attached).

  12. Behavior is on Windows 7 | Acrobat Pro XI version 11.0.23

    When running OCR (English and Italian) previous drawing markups (Free Form Tool) and highlights are corrupted. Free forms were rotated 90 degrees and translated, while highlights were moved up about 2.5 lines. I attached a word document with screenshots of the behavior. This behavior messed up highlighting work by a professor at Indiana University.

  14. The new toolbar isn't great but I can live with it. However, it FREQUENTLY protrudes over the document when you use a tool with a submenu or the type tool with the font and color options. This is very bad, especially when adding a comment in the margins. Since it is possible to move the toolbar, why not make it possible to orient it horizontally at the top or bottom of the page? That way, it won't obstruct lines in the middle of the document that happen to be close to the edge.

  15. Can you please fix the issue with Measuring Tool? Cannot change ratio and scale. Purchased license just for that function and now it just disappeared. Checked all settings and the only way to use it is to go back to Old Version.

    Instead of all that AI **** that I tried and proven to be useless - please keep existing functions as they were!

  16. When creating a form in Acrobat Pro DC, fields set to be read-only and locked can still receive focus while they should be skipped and their contents be unselectable. This happens even when the PDF is saved as Reader Extended with "enable more tools", regardless of whether the resulting PDF is opened in Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader (DC)

  17. Description of desired feature & Why the feature is needed

    Dear Mr./Mrs.

    I and my collegues created a custom stamp on Excel and this stamp has text fields and a text field for the signature. Kindly look attached file. We would like to work with our custom stamp on our invoices and on our delivery notes within our workflow. However we couldn't insert texts into the text fields and couldn't add a signature when we add this stamp on one of the invoice using Acrobat DC.   19. I routinely check, review, mark up records. I also use the markups to keep track of changes. Word documents are unacceptable because I need to keep a permanent record that work was done.

    PDF Exchange editor has a tool that lets me draw a polygon, and set the color blend mode so the polygon acts like a hilighter. I can use this to flag something that is an issue, use different colors to identify the type of issue, and whether or not it has been addressed/resolved.
