1. Matching fonts is unbelievably glitchy

   I have edited a previous document almost identical to the one i am now and it worked decent. now i try it agian and some how no matter how hard i search i cannot find a matching font. so all my edits stick out like a sore thumb. it should auto match, and as i delete text it does, then when i add text, it reverts back to some other default font... this is beyond frustrating. but hey, at least theres an ai to make some suggestions..... 2. bug full screen exit

   BUG – macOS exiting FULLSCREEN MODE when switching tabs

   when i change tabs in the same acrobat window it automatically escapes out of full screen. Both acrobat and my mac are updated to the latest version.

3. Double sided failure

   Double sided printing prints on short side no matter what option I choose or my paralegal, on a separate machine, chooses. No problem using Preview. Acrobat is now useless to us.

4. Duplicating tags

   The process for creating an accurate and PDF/UA proficient structure for example a list involves <L> -> <Li> -> <Lbl>, <LBody>. This is for ONE list item and a list rarely consist of just one list item so the three tags have to be created for each one. To get these items you need to right click, choose List item, click OK, right click choose Label, click OK, right click choose List item body, click OK, drag and drop List item body into <Li> and then drag and drop <LBody> into <Li>. This is just for the structure, then you also have to fill all tags with the correct data. Creating a single list item can take well over a minute. The time it takes in its inefficiency is one issue I have with this, but primarily it bugs me how incredibly tedious this is, and how stupid the Acrobat app seems to do what it's designed to. I see you did have a ticket for copy + paste of tags back in 2020, and that you "had your eyes on it" or something like that. Apparently absolutely nothing has happened in this area and truth be told I'm quite confident nothing will happen after me pointing it out yet again. But hey, "hope", am I right?

5. Acrobat Standard crashes when trying to scan.

   My info:
   - Acrobat Standard, not sure where to look for version but I think it's the latest
   - Windows 11 Home, 10.0.26200 Build 26200
   - Epson ET-3850, connected by Ethernet not wi-fi
   - Scanning works with Epson's scan utility

7. Why have you made it more difficult to add highlights to pdf's?

   Each time I try to highlight, it automatically takes me to a previous highlight. I have to switch back to the selection tool, re-select the text to highlight, then click the highlight tool (sometimes several times) before highlighting again. It seems to require more button clicks, if I've used the comment tool previously. Seems each new update to adobe makes it more difficult (more button clicks) to annotate pdfs and features are being removed or harder to find.

8. Cloud Upload on Acrobat Desktop for Mac not working

9. Error in placement of combining diacriticals

   I use combining diacriticals from font Cambria Math, specifically U+031F and U+0320. These have rendered properly in previous versions of Acrobat. The current version improperly places some, but not all, of the combining diacriticals. This error in placement affects both screen display and print from the PDF. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

   I am attaching two 1-page PDFs exported from my page layout application. One preserves the glyph codes, the other was set to "rasterize everything". Direct your attention to the last paragraph, following "rectangle of interest". The rasterized output properly places all four combining diacritical glyphs, while the normal output improperly places the diacritical w.r.t the 'f'. This error is repeated on the next line of text.

   I have examined the Unicode sequence in the page layout application, and the combining diacriticals properly follow the letters they are to combine with. I do not have access to the PDF internal format to confirm how they were exported.

10. Adobe PDF Converter Printing Preferences need to stop resetting after update

    There is an existing similar request/report from 2021 that has yet to be addressed, but I voted for it and will post this to help it along

    I am trying to use the Adobe PDF printer with Driver Adobe PDF Converter in a production environment. I have set up an Adobe Output Folder, unchecked “View PDF results”, unchecked “Rely on system fonts”, and set up a custom Paper Size. I have set these using Print Management, both the Printing Defaults and the Printing Preferences.

    I am told on the Community forum that whenever there is an Acrobat update these settings are reset by design, and I would like that config to be maintained after an update at the very least.

    There is an existing similar request/report from 2021 that has yet to be addressed, but I voted for it and will post this to help it along

11. Opening a new window in another tab for the same PDF

    There is no direct option to open a new tab for the same file. This helps in comparing different parts of the document. Such a formula written in an appendix at the end has the variable legend in the body of the document in the reference and abbreviation section. I need to see both of these sections in different tabs. If I do this by opening in another instance and drag it over to the original window. It stays there for some time and then Acrobat reader crashes.

12. Add dark mode into liquid mode

    The version of Adobe Acrobat I’m currently using supports dark mode, which works great during normal reading. However, the problem starts whenever I switch to Liquid Mode. As soon as Liquid Mode is enabled, the interface and document background turn white again, which completely defeats the purpose of using dark mode in the first place. Since I spend a lot of time reading PDFs on my phone and tablet, especially at night, the bright white screen becomes really uncomfortable on the eyes.

    I really like the readability and reflow features of Liquid Mode because they make PDFs much easier to read on smaller screens, but it’s frustrating that dark mode doesn’t seem to carry over into that view. I’ve tried looking through the settings to see if there’s an option I missed, but so far I haven’t found a way to keep both Liquid Mode and dark mode enabled at the same time.

    So now I’m wondering if this is just a limitation of Adobe Acrobat itself, or if there are other PDF reader apps out there that support both features together. Ideally, I’m looking for a PDF reading tool that offers a proper dark mode while also including a reflow or liquid-style reading mode for easier mobile reading. Has anyone found an app that does both well? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

13. keyboard shortcut for page display tools

    Wasn't sure if this should go under UI or Accessibility, but... I often need to change the view of pages (single, two-page, scrolling, no scrolling).

    It would be helpful if this could be toggled with keyboard shortcuts instead of having to click them in the quick tools bar.

    If this is already possible, I'd greatly appreciate if someone could let me know how!

14. Simplify the software and focus on making PDF handling fast

    I think the software is trying to do too much at once. It feels slow, overly complicated, and the file sizes are often unnecessarily large. I work with PDFs every day as an architect, so I’m not new to this workflow.

    From my perspective, PDFs are mainly for sharing drawings digitally or printing them. We already use CAD software for creating and editing. I don’t personally need advanced PDF features like drawing, measuring, or heavy editing tools built into the viewer.

    I understand that other professions rely on PDFs for forms, signatures, annotations, and document management, so I can see why those features exist. Still, the overall experience feels clunky and difficult to navigate.

    My suggestion would be to simplify the software and focus on making PDF handling fast, lightweight, and easy for digital sharing, rather than trying to compete with full-featured editing platforms like Adobe Acrobat.

16. Feature request - Add preflight profiles of type kpfx and newest GWG preflight profiles (2022)

    The validation / preflight profiles needs to be up to date.
    Therefore the Acrobat pro Cloud service should include newest GWG profile (2022) - and user should be able to add new kpfx files in future.

17. I would love to see the possibility for a multi-login.

    I would love to have the ability to log in with two different accounts at the same time and use them side by side. At the moment, it’s not possible to be logged into two separate Adobe accounts simultaneously. I work as a self‑employed professional and have my own account, but I also work with a client’s account. This means I have to switch between both accounts multiple times a day.

18. Acrobat PDFMaker silently fails saving to DFS redirected/mapped folders unless Acrobat Privileged Location registry path uses the DFS namesp

    Adobe PDFMaker from Microsoft Word intermittently fails when saving PDFs to DFS-backed network paths. The PDFMaker progress bar gets near completion, then closes with no error message and no PDF is created.

    The source Word document opens normally, and the user has confirmed write permissions to the destination folder. The issue occurs with DFS/mapped network locations and redirected folders.

    Acrobat has Protected Mode and Enhanced Security enabled. Adding the folder through the Acrobat UI under Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > Privileged Locations does not always store the path in the form that PDFMaker appears to use. In some cases, Acrobat appears to resolve the DFS namespace or redirected folder to the backend file-server path instead of retaining the user-facing DFS path.

    PDFMaker only became reliable after manually correcting the Acrobat trusted-folder registry entry so that the privileged location matched the DFS namespace path exactly. Mapped drive locations you can select but the redirected desktop is not mapped so editing the registry to correct the azure files name to the dfs namespace allowed it to work and reliably create pds. Why can't we have a freeform path?

    Key evidence:
    The registry path involved is:

    HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\TrustManager\cTrustedFolders\cAlwaysTrustedForJavaScript

    Example working values use the DFS namespace format:

    \domain.example\dfsroot\groups\
    \domain.example\dfsroot\home\username\my documents\
    \domain.example\dfsroot\home\username\desktop\

    Example problematic values may use the resolved backend storage target instead:

    \backend-fileserver.example.com\share\home\username\desktop\

    Expected behavior:
    Acrobat/PDFMaker should honor the DFS namespace or mapped network path selected by the user, or it should consistently trust both the DFS namespace path and the resolved backend target.

    Actual behavior:
    PDFMaker silently fails near completion unless the Acrobat privileged-folder path in the registry exactly matches the DFS namespace path used by the user.

    Environment details to include:

    Acrobat version: 2026.001.21563
    Microsoft Word version: 16.0.19929.20172
    Windows version: 25H2 build 26200.8457
    DFS namespace used: Yes
    Redirected folders used: Yes
    Backend storage type: DFS target / SMB / Azure Files / other
    Endpoint security present: Yes

    Impact:
    Users cannot reliably create PDFs from Word directly to DFS-backed network or redirected folders using Adobe PDFMaker. The failure is silent and intermittent, making it difficult to diagnose.

19. You know what would save time? Not having the program crash because of the AI features.

    Ever since the AI features were added to Acrobat Pro, the program is super laggy and crashes more frequently. I've "disabled" AI, but we all know that doesn't actually disable anything. I can't tell you how many time the program has crashed or not loaded my document quickly because it is visibily trying to get the AI pop-ups to load first. The fact that the popup always say "Save time with a document using AI Assistant" just adds insult to injury.

20. Improve accessibility checks/fixes

    Acrobat Pro should be able to find all accessibility errors and suggest a fix for each one, with a button to fix it, similar to find/replace in a document. When I use Acrobat Pro, it finds some of the accessibility errors, but no option to fix them. When I put it into PAC for the final check, it finds more errors so I am spending hours on each document that our agency posts online.
