  1. Acrobat will sometimes generate a pop-up that says "Update completed!" with two options: "Restart Now" and "Cancel". Naturally, I assumed that "Restart Now" meant restart Acrobat.   2. While installing Photoshop and Lightroom today, the installation screen showed that I had an existing install of Acrobat DC. I've never heard of Acrobat DC... so I assumed it must be part of the Acrobat system - and I elected to update the installation by pressing the "update" button.   6. Adobe should fix this (Desktop Service) supporting application for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from taking up so much memory as a background process. Currently about 240 MBytes of memory. If all it is doing is checking the licence, why does it need so much space??!

  8. Fill & sign is not available on the downloaded version of Acrobat on my new computer, despite being on the latest version on my old one. I have tried adding it to the tool bar (using the pen nib icon), but it does not show when I save the toolbar.
    This means that the only option to sign documents through the desktop version is via a certificate which requires one to sign up to a paid subscription option, or by creating a digital certificate which is long-winded and time-consuming.

  10. What's the best way to resolve this?
    Update failed. "Problem with licensing module"?

    Uninstall Acrobat Pro DC from the CC Desktop App and reinstall?
    Tried to use the Update feature in the Help menu of Acrobat Pro DC and that failed.

  11. Whose good idea is it to move the bookmarks to the right side panel with no options to move it to the left?   12. When Replace Text is selected and a relevant portion of text is highlighted, a comment box doesn't automatically open up. If I choose this icon my aim is to replace the text, so why wouldn't a pop-up open automatically (or at least have an option to turn said feature on in settings/preferences)? Annoyingly, I need to right click and manually open the pop-up. Please fix or explain how I enable this feature.

    I would like to see an update to the ADMX/ADM files for Adobe DC and other versions. It is a little bit of a hassle to try and find all the features and what can be done from an administrative space by looking through pages and trying to think of what we want and what can be done. The ADMX files that I was provided by support are really out of date and do not have things like turning off cloud storage.   15. I hope Adobe will re-think the requirement to sign in after an update is applied to Acrobat. From an enterprise change management perspective we are required to notify 4k+ users every time we need to update Acrobat, that's a whole lot of email just because they will have to sign in again. 99 days makes a whole lot more sense. Let whatever cookie is set persist across updates please!

  18. A week or so ago, I went to prepare Adobe documents as per usual. Apparently an update was done. This update has severely slowed down my productivity. When I combine pages to create a document, I have to wait for Adobe to recognize the pages. Once that happens, I have to click on "save". Then I'm required to re-name the document (click and drag over the name given by Adobe) and click "save".   19. In Adobe Acrobat DC Comments, the Lock icon adds unnecessary space to the already inefficient spacing (even without the lock, for some reason a lot of extra spacing was added). Is there a way to compress the spacing and/or remove the lock icon, which was never shown in previous versions of Acrobat? If not, the result of our company switching to acrobat DC is a reduction in productivity.
