  2. Needless to say, I print a lot from Acrobat. It bugs me constantly that when the print dialog comes up, it's too big to fit entirely on the screen. The actual "print" button is off screen on the bottom, and requires scrolling down to be able to click it. That should not be the case. Even more annoying is the fact that the dialog itself, although it has a scroll bar, is not responsive to my scrollwheel mouse. It absolutely should be.

    Hi,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. We have recorded it as bug in our database.

    Best Regards!

  3. The current limit of 10MB seems fairly small in today's age. Previous explanations that the document will be emailed and/or opened on mobile devices that can't handle large files is pretty much moot now, because both can typically handle larger files (say 25-40 MB).

  4. I want to be able to resize the comment list to a smaller size than currently available. Right now, the minimum width is much too big for my small laptop. It takes up three inches of the width of my screen space. The total width of the screen is 11.5 inches, which leaves not much for the actual document, especially if I'm looking at two-page spreads.

Even when I used a huge 25-inch wide screen I need as much space as possible to compare two documents side by side. The wide comment lists get in the way.

    (Both these screens…

I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using

  6. This has been reported on another thread and marked as solved - it isn't. I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro and am unable to edit .pdf's, which is precisiely why I bought it. The subscription simply isn't worth the money without this capability.

I have noticed some suggested solutions but these are highly technical and not something I would have access to do at work.

Could a solution be suggested - fast - as it seems as though this is quite a common error?

  7. I'm getting errors when reading PDFs. All different sizes, all different sources.

"There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (109)."

"A number is out of range."

"There was an error while reading a stream."

"Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading."

    "Out of memory."

It's a brand new Windows 10 machine with 8GB of RAM. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. How do I fix this issue? The program is essentially unusable at this point.

  9. Yes, you have a tool to underline, but not for undoing underlining. I have spent hours attempting to undo underlining, along with undoing bold. As secretary of a Property Owners Association, I NEED these.

  10. A Java Script Checkbox that makes a field visible or hidden based on the condition is not functioning properly. When first opening the form, the box does nothing. If I click on "Prepare Form" tool and immediately close, the button works as it should. If Adobe is closed and the form is reopened, the checkbox stops working again.

  14. The "Select object" tool is only available in the Pro version under "Rich Media". The tool is very useful for selecting text boxes and shapes. There is no alternative to the tool in the Standard version of Acrobat. Please make it or something similar available in the Standard version.

  15. Adobe should allow user to enlarge menu font sizes.

I often want to know what page number I’m working in, but must lean into the screen to visualize the tiny number font listed in the menu bar.

  16. This concerns the window for the Creative Cloud user interface. It always resets to some Adobe service that is being promoted such as Adobe Stock. This is annoying. Every time I start my computer I have to reset, first to Applications, and then again to installed applications. There appears to be no preference that will override this. I know this is very very minor, but after hundreds of repetitions of this experience, I just had to let you know how irritating it is.

  17. When printing from Chrome on Windows with Adobe PDF and then trying to highlight it in Acrobat Pro there is some strange problems. IT marks much more than it should. Se added examples.
AdobePDFchrome.pdf is printed with Adobe PDF and the Builtinchrome.pdf is printed with the built-in PDF in chrome.
In both files I have highlighted only the text DC but only the Built-In for chrome shows it correctly?

Data: Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 (Officiell version) (64 bit)

    Hi Marko,

Thank you for sharing this issue with us. We would like to know few more things :

    1. Is this issue happening every time you highlight a document printed by Adobe PDF?
    2. Is it working fine if we highlight any local PDF file?
    2. Have you tried updating Acrobat Pro and Chrome to the latest version?
    3. Please share the sample pdf files.

We have tried but unable to reproduce it with the latest Chrome(71.0.3578.98) and Acrobat Pro (2019.010.20064).

    Thanks,
    Swapnil Srivastava

  18. I don't understand what I'm doing to make this happen, but when I am typing using fill and sign the page starts zooming out when I type certain keys. It didn't do this before the last update. I've noticed it happens when I type 1 or 2. Is there some shortcut I'm calling without noticing? How can I make this stop?

    Hi,

We have made some fixes around this area. Can you please update to the latest version : Go to Help > Check for updates.

Do let us know if you still observe the crash after updating to the latest version (2019.010.20069).

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  19. I recently had an issue wherein some of my clients found that hyperlinks in the PDFs which I had sent them did not work. Two clients were on a Mac, opening the doc in Reader, another on a PC. I sent the PDFs to numerous different people and some could access links, others could not. The pdf was created using Indd cc 2018 and later also 2019. This was "solved" by a Tech Support Rep who advised me that Adobe doesn't guarantee usability of links in PDFs if they have been uploaded to a server other than the Adobe Cloud.…

  20. Form created in Designer 11, Using Acrobat XI Pro to extend file for users to fill-in forms using Reader DC or Std DC to save to server. After recent Reader update fields on forms that have a calculation have issues. When the file is closed then re-opened using ReaderDC the calculation fields are blank or zero. Win7 and Win10 PCs.
