  1. Add continuous page number across portfolio pdfs (not one by one)

    hey all,

    i have a problem, when i add header then add page number to portofolio , adobe add page number for each pdf alone (from 1) and next pdf start from 1 again, is it possible to have continuous pages number across all portfolio pdfs.

  4. Side Tools should be default & Menu Dropdown should show options without having to click on open

    Return Menu Tools to the Side where they belong. They are next to useless now. Put actual menu items under the menu drop-downs instead of extra steps to open what should be a drop-down. Sorry - I hate the new look. Hate it. I should not have to navigate away from a page I'm working on in order to get to tools. I should not have to spend half an hour to discover you apparently no longer have this option. Security tools, if still in existence, should be obvious.

  5. Do NOT delete custom calculation script when another option is clicked

    When I have entered a custom calculation script for a form field and accidentally click one of the other options in that tab or accidentally click to the Validate tab, my whole script just disappears, which is infuriating. Why can you not just leave the script there as is, but obviously don't apply it if another option is clicked. Perhaps a user would like to test different Calculation/Validation options without having their work erased. I am so sick of losing hours of work simply because I mis-clicked.

  6. Acrobat on macOS consistently CRASHES silently: DATA LOSS while saving a file

    1. Open Acrobat Pro DC on macOS 10.14.1
    2. Scan a document
    3. Select "Save" command
    4. Select folder
    5. Switch to Finder

    Result: Acrobat is no longer running. Scanned file lost. No crash report dialog is initiated.

    AGM: 4.30.83
    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.42216

    The system log shows a bunch of AdobeAcrobat errors: "UNIX error exception: 17" but the app spews so many messages into the log that it's hard to determine which are relevant and where the problem actually starts.

    there is a good example for highlighting in the app Bookshelf.

  8. add a shortcut key to execute an Action Wizard or make it available in the top menu or screen. Currently many clicks are needed to start it.

    My next question is to be able to close the file which was transformed by the Action Wizard, but CTRL+W is okay as well.

  10. send as attachment

    The new unified share experience really slows down our workflow and adds unnecessary steps. Please implement a shortcut/button so that we can go back to one click or one keyboard shortcut to attach to email.

    I created a PDF from Illustrator and I opened the file. It gave me this error message: "Cannot extract the embedded font [font name]. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

  12. Add a shortcut for return the place after click a link

    There are many links for references list in science paper, but it is really make me upset to click a link then jump to the end of a paper and then searching in paper where I just have read.

  15. Having isues with adobe acrobat pro not displaying the PDF correctly it displays it in some dumb format that I cant read

    not displaying the text correctly. but when i copy and paste the text into a different window or program it copies correctly. something is weird. happens about 3 out of 10 times when I output a PDF.

  16. default font color for text boxes changes to last used color instead of staying the user defined "mark as default" color

    When changing an existing text box font color from the default color to a different color, the next time I open and use a text box, the font color is whatever color I last used.

    This is a nuisance, make it stop, if I set up a 'set as default' the font color for any 'new' text should stay that color, no matter if I change the font color later or not.

    The font color has different meanings (Actionable inputs) associated with the colors, when the action has been accomplished, I change the font color, this doesn't mean I want…

  17. FIX: Rich Media Button. Needs Transparent Line and Fill Option!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hurry Fix!

    I need to make transparent buttons with HTML links in most of my documents. Someone forgot to program this in the DC version.
    Create a square button and set the line and fill to transparent. Please fix! It is causing a host of issues for us.

  18. Selecting text in comments is absolutely maddening.

    I use annotated pdfs all day every day to get client edits and apply them in InDesign. I can't tell you (but I will attempt to try) how maddening it is to simply copy text from a comment box to paste into InDesign. Why can I not simply select the text?! I have to double click on the text that I want to copy, which opens a white box around the text. If I then double click again to select the text (without moving the cursor) it closes the box without copying the text! Instead of simply selecting the text…

  19. Crashing When Opening Files

    PDF's when opened will sometimes crash the whole Adobe Acrobat Pro program. They open afterward, but the event viewer shows a fatal error of some kind. I copied four of these into the attached text document.

    We would need more details on steps to reproduce the issue. And do you experience it on Win or MAC or both.

    Share the version of acrobat you are using. You can do so using the link -https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

    And also share the test PDF file using forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further.
