  2. Permanent crop tool that actually removes cropped content. Masking content does not work for PDFs that need to be later uploaded online. It botches thumbnail creation and causes files to be unnecessarily large.

Sorry fot the inconvenience caused to you.
You can crop the file by following below steps.
    1) Open a pdf
    2) Click on edit pdf
    3) Select option Crop Pages
    4) Now select the desired area and click enter
    5) Now you can select your desired settings for crop, click ok and save your file.

  3. Would be great to be able edit the portfolios files layout once saved and move the files around or change the order by dragging them to where you want it rather then by the choices provided I think it was called freeform or something like that. I use to be able to do this with Adobe X, with DC I can't. Really am not liking the latest version of Adobe, wish I could go back to my old version.

    Thanks,

  4. I want to set the "DEFAULT" for the initial view for all pdf documents that I create. I am sick and tired of setting the "initial views" for each and every PDF that I create. Please program a preference that automates the way to set a users preference for creating files with a preset initial view.

  5. I paid $190 (inc. tax) on June 26 for Acrobat Pro DC - yet every time I open Acrobat, there's a little circle in the lower left hand corner saying "subscription expired" with a "buy" button beneath it - I want to know I have what I paid for!

  7. Under the prepare form area, you can add form fields. However, you can't rotate the field box. It always stays straight. I would like to be able to rotate it based on the direction of the image/text in the project.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

There is a huge market requirement for this feature and we are struggling with it currently.

  13. The program needs an eraser (I've been telling Adobe techs this for years) If you need an example, download a trial version of Bluebeam Revu. Take a look at their crop, eraser, cut and flatten tools. You guys need to step up your game!

  15. I would like to know why Hardware Rendering has been disabled when the option "Enable Protected Mode At Startup" is checked. Why is hardware rendering a security issue?

To me this is a serious bug. You have crippled Adobe Acrobat for 3D delivery by forcing this on users.

If you find a PDF file that has ANY javascript in it are you not only disabling the javascript but also disabling hardware rendering?

I can kind of understand disabling javascript, although all that functionality should be able to be sandboxed. You, Adobe Developers, have full control over all the methods exposed…

  16. Currently Acrobat Pro DC recognizes Chinese and Japanese (and probably Korean) in left-to right horizontal format, but does not handle vertical text reliably. The apparent reason is that in edit mode text areas are always defined horizontally. An explicit configuration option for vertical text would fix this. The attached file if a pdf scan of the first section of a recently published Japanese book.

  19. Hello- (Feature request) May I suggest the ability to add a custom email contact etc. signature? (The address & contact one, not the legal or digital one). Our user was trying to send PDFs, and while it opens her mail (Gmail) the signature part doesn't get added on. From what I gather, it is because the programming interface and user interface can't talk to each other, they are seperate streams, maybe? (see link to similar, below)

Anyway, if they can't communicate, maybe add the possibility of a custom email address / contact one, in a future release?

    The closest I…

  20. I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - this is a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable. I want Acrobat to detect the check boxes and automatically add them instead of manually adding 100 checkboxes, taking way too much time.
