  1. During troubleshooting scenarios we periodically need to save a problematic PDF file as a PS file to regenerate it with the distiller. As a result, the bookmarks are lost. We would like to see an option to export bookmarks from a problem PDF file and be able to import them into a working PDF file. We understand there are 3rd party solutions that can achieve this but we work with highly sensitive data and would prefer an Acrobat native solution that would be available in Acrobat 2017 Classic and Acrobat DC.

  2. Recently we had a user report that when he tried to open excel file by double clicking, excel 2013 came up blank. After doing some troubleshooting, we found the adobe acrobat 2017 is causing the issue. It may have caused by Adobe PDFMaker com-addin in acrobat 2017. Once adobe acrobat 2017 is uninstalled, the issue went away. I am suspecting the recently windows update on the Microsoft office may have contributed. I have the older version Adobe acrobat DC 2015 did not have this issue. Can someone please look into this issue and release new fix/update to fix this problem?

  3. The attached Output.pdf renders the image differently in AcrobatPro to non-Adobe PDF readers (eg, Safari). There is a faint light grey line, about 13 pixels wide, down the right edge. If you "Browse Internal PDF Structure" you can see the grey pixels as fe rather than ff in the JPEG stream, so it seems as though the PDF JPEG decoder has an off-by-one error.

    I've also attached Original.jpg which shows what the image should look like. It doesn't have the grey line, as you can see by loading it into, eg, Photoshop. If you convert it to a PDF using…

    Can you please provide us the following details :

    1. Version of your Acrobat. Go to Help → Check for Updates.
    2. Does the crash happens with every file or a specific PDF. If possible can you share the PDF file at sagrover@adobe.com.
    3. Are you on Win or MAC? Also can you tell us your OS version.

  5. Acrobat coms to a halt and get spinning wheel (on Mac) whenever anything is copying, moving, etc in the Mac finder, especially over VPN. Also keeps crashing.

  6. Cannot replace a partial word. Have Find - whole word unchecked. As soon as I add something to Replace, Whole word checks and goes gray. This was marked as Resolved but it is not.

  9. Currently the Adobe Acrobat add-on for Microsoft Outlook leverages the "received date" to timestamp the messages. It would be nice to have the option to use the "sent date" of the message instead for the timestamp. There are instances during email migrations where the top level received date header gets updated to the new mail system it got migrated to. When that happens, the received date changes on the message in Outlook.   10. If I want to CROP a page, I can do so by simply right-clicking the page under "Organize Pages." Resizing the pages should be just as simple; it should not require a visit to pre-flight or other hoop-jumping.

  11. It would be very useful to be able to scroll 2 pdfs simultaneously as in office tools.
    Best would be to be able to scroll side by side with the possibility to do it Synchronously or not (in case of different number of pages).

  12. We would like to have the possibility, just like with OneDrive 4 Business, to restore deleted files for a User or by a User if deleted in the Document Cloud.

    At this moment, as soon as the file is deleted in the document cloud there is no turning back.

    It would be great if there would be such a feature enabled like lets say save deleted data for 30 days in a trashcan were users can restore it if deleted by accident.

  14. Problem: A PDF-file of 7600 pages. Selecting all even pages in Tools/Manage Pages. Then deleting all even pages except the first or last one. That takes on my iMac with newest DC version over 45 minutes. On a 10 years old PC with Acrobat version 5 it takes less then 3 minutes. That is 15 times faster! This bug needs to be fixed.

  15. Acrobat Pro DC latest version on Windows 10 (latest). after creating about 20 pdfs it catches out simply closing acrobat. Have same problem on multiple PCs. Has been happening for 6 months or so. Before that I could create 100s without a problem.

    Thanks for sharing the steps. We are aware of a similar issue with OneDrive files and are working on fixing it.
    Can you check if you can convert Office files kept in OneDrive by right-click menu and the PDF gets created. Does the Office app remain open or does it get closed?

  16. Anytime I have a document with a higher number of pages open and "output preview" tool open at the same time, all of Acrobat becomes unresponsive and you have the spinning pinwheel. Can the output preview tool be limited to checking on the visible page, so I don't have to wait 30+ seconds between every action for the tool to re-process the whole document?

  17. After updating to this version, on startup the application displays an empty dialog box and completely freezes, forcing you to quit the application in Task Manager. Repair, uninstall/reinstall, clearing temp files all did not work.
    Starting application on the administrator account allowed it to go through the dialog box which had to do with resetting default apps then allowed the application to startup and run correctly on the limited user account.

  19. I installed adobe reader touch in my windows 10 laptop, i am unable to login to my account,there is no option for log in.
    I need to access a PDF (with notes)made in one device that can be continued in another device, for which i need to log in to adobe so that both my devices are connected.
