  1. For speed and efficiency, the ability to;

    i) save form field layouts from one document as templates that can be overlaid onto any other document (and still then save-able as a document template).

    and/or;

    ii) the ability to replace the original document underneath form fields (i.e. upload an up to date PDF to replace existing) in 'Edit Template'.

    PURPOSE:
    We use multiple agreements that are almost identical, but with minor copy edits / clause tweaks following client feedback etc. Very time consuming to have to create a template from scratch every time we want to make a minor edit to…

  3. Unsuccessfully tried to change/modify the advanced metadata 'PRODUCER' of a PDF from Acrobat Pro DC. I would not accept the revised xmp file as a replacement.

  4. When using characters which are essential to Maltese script -- ċġħ, for example -- the font changes from Arial to a Serif font, which looks odd with the rest of the text.

  5. Steps:
    I have written up the steps in the last comment here:
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/create-pdf-from-web-page-uses-only-light-weight-fonts/m-p/11945480
    - make an HTML file from the provided code
    - make a PDF from this HTML file
    - see if your result is different from the attached PDF in the forum post

    Environment:
    Acrobat DC (CC) 21.0 on Mac OS X Big Sur 11.2.3
    Helvetica Neue typeface installed with system: /System/Library/Fonts/HelveticaNeue.ttc

    Expected:
    A regular (or even medium) weight of a typeface would be chosen.

    Observed:
    The lightest available weight of the typeface is chosen, making the resulting PDF unreadable. PDF attached to forum post is also attached…

  9. It would be a good idea if each comment in a PDF doc would be numbered. I sometimes have to reply comments and it would be helfpful if I could know how many comments remain to reply and/or edit.

  10. I'd like to be able to easily print one pdf multiple times on a single page without having to duplicate and merge the pdfs before printing. For example on the Preview program on a mac, its super easy to do this with a click of a button. No extra steps of duplicating and merging. Thanks for considering, Please please update!!

  12. When using the File Explorer to select multiple files then right clicking and choosing combine PDFs, it gives error "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license". If you try again after acrobat opens it works. If acrobat has already been opened since a restart it works as well.

  13. The font list on Mac Os Acrobat is in the standard font- see screenshot (usually each font name is shown in its style so you understand what it looks like more or less).
    On Acrobat on Mac Os in order to see what font looks like you need to apply it to the text in the document - so you literally need to apply 100 fonts to see what they are when looking for the right one.
    In short - there is no preview samples of fonts on the list like there is on Acrobat on Windows. I had to…

  14. I've just started using Adobe Acrobat DC, continuous release. I noticed when editing a document, if I select the drop down list of fonts, all of them show the exact same font type in the list. This is really unhelpful, because I don't know what any will look like.

    This leaves me with two options. One, choose a font, see what it looks like, and keep it; or if I don't like it go back, click the drop down list, and re-scroll all the way through to find the next font in line and try that one. If I don't…

  15. There needs to be a simple way to convert text to path. (The utility of this is begin able to use parts of the pdf file in illustrator without having the fonts.) Googling this shows there is demand for the feature. Currently the feature sort of exists in the "flatten transparency" settings, but it does not work correctly if there is no transparent feature in the pdf. The workaround is to add a watermark or other transparent object, THEN edit the flatten settings. Silly workaround for a common enough need. I'd call this a bug, since the flatten options clearly…

  17. It is completely mind numbing that this product doesnt work with Live Cycle Designer files. These are the PDF files that are used by the IRS. So I can not fill in a form from the IRS and save it. BUT Apple Preview works perfectly fine on these files. So my FREE PDF viewer works better than this Adobe PDF P.O.S. What a waste of a product.

  18. Since so many folks work at home with the usual 8 1/2x11 format printers, it's hard to print PDFs that are in 17x11 & 34x22 format. This includes the engineering, survey, Departments of Transportation drawings, maybe architects, and many others, like schedules and Gantt charts. We work with SCALE drawings and we'd sometimes like to print our usual landscape prints from the at-scale drawing format in 34x22 or 17x11 onto TWO 11x 8 1/2 prints, effectively splitting the drawing in two, down the middle. If we could get full-bleed, edge to edge, so much the better. This allows us to…

  20. Would be lovely if you could click on a checkbox and convert it to a radio button. I have to change these out all the time from scratch because Acrobat will make checkboxes instead of radio buttons
