  1. I've just noticed that in the Combine Files panel, the thumbnails of the files I pull in are squished out of proportion. The thumbnails of the finished file (after I click "Combine") are just fine though - no issues with those. But the squished thumbs are very strange.

  2. I am having trouble printing PDF documents right now. When I attempt to print, my laptop immediately takes me to a print to pdf option even though I am selecting my printer as opposed to the print to pdf option. I really need this fixed quickly

  3. Updated today as prompted by Adobe. My redaction tool no longer works. When I go to apply redactions, I just get a white box with a spinning blue circle in it. Tried restarting, extremely frustrating as redactions and batestamping are the only reason I'm paying for an adobe subscription. Redactions worked beautifully on the version I updated from.

  4. I am trying to use Acrobat Fill and Sign feature to send documents to clients for signature. I go to send them and I get "Invalid JSON" as an error message. It kills to progress to the Fill and Sign process and brings me back to a fresh document. I am using this file created in Acrobat.

    I add two email addresses, add my own form language for the email description and body as I need to give info on other processes, and then click Continue and it gives the error message

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for reporting the issue and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I tired locally and was successfully able to send the file for Signature. Could you please confirm the following :

    1. Do you see the same error with every PDF file or with this file only?
    2. Do you observe the error with this file when you do not change the subject/body with your own language?
    3. Also are you using English or some other language for Subject/Body? Did you use any special characters?

  5. Before sending our contracts to customers, we need to lock all fields so that customers cannot edit or select the fields; or flatten the PDF.=. The only fields that we want active for the customer are signature boxes. In order to do this, we currently have to open the PDF in Apple's Preview... then export the file AGAIN as a PDF. Then open again in Adobe as it will now be a flat PDF file. Then we have to send the file to the client and manually insert all of the signature fields where necessary.

    This is a tremendous waste…

  6. I start filling pdf and it uses one font. Then I use some of this letters (č,ć,š,ž,etc.) and it changes font to some other. I dont care what font i use, but i look like ****** sending filled pdfs with 2 fonts. I dont want to use 2 fonts. please help

  7. The steps: Replace Pages, Save.

    Acrobat loses all the text, leaving only fillable fields.

    It doesn't happen for all PDFs.

    This is the third version of Acrobat that has this problem. Isn't it time to fix this bug?

    I have looked several times on the Internet for references to this bug, and have found nothing.

  8. When checking forms in the PAC3 checker, I'm always getting this error for all the form fields: Possible inappropriate use of a 'Form' structure element.
    In Acrobat (2020.009.20063 on MacOS X) I've done the accessibility check and the PDF/UA preflight without any problems, so the PDF should be ok.
    To fix the problem I'm manually assigning the attribute "Placement: Block" for each form field in the tags panel, which is a lot of work. Is it possible to add that attribute automatically when creating the form field?
    I could buy axesPDF QuickFix to fix the problem, but this should be…

  9. Combine four separate actions - copy, highlight, open pop-up note, paste copied text into note - into one keystroke action. Or alter the 'Add Note to Text' option to include the selected text within the note as opposed to it just being a highlight. This way the highlighted portion will be included in comments summary reports.

  17. When converting a web page in Edge (usually an invoice from an on-line purchase to PDF), portions of the text are converted to total jibberish. Converting the same page using the built-in Microsoft PDF converter works correctly.

  18. The new "Fill and Sign experience" being tested is a total fail. The Sign Yourself button is completely unresponsive and my saved signatures and initials are no longer available. The test has rendered Adobe Pro unusable for e-signing documents myself.

    We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Can you please provide us the following details :

    1. Does this issue happens with all PDF files or some specific PDF file. If possible can you please share a sample PDF with us.
    2. Details of your OS.
    3. Does Application goes to Not responding when you click on the Sign yourself button? You can follow the steps at : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html to generate the dump files.
    4. Are you not able to create a new signature/initial from the sign yourself drop down?
    5. It will be great if you can share a screenshot/video demonstrating the issue.

  20. When I have a heading that can be duplicated but a list of names that are different I run into an issue. The names I populate on the first page will automatically appear on the second page. Then when I change the names on the second page it will change the names on the first.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting the issue. I tried and observed that the issue is happening when you perform a Save As operation and not on a direct Save operation. Also the issue seems specific to this file.

    You can try this workaround if it helps. In the meanwhile we are looking into this issue and will inform you once we have new updates.
