1. where is my cloud dox?

   Heres an idea: make it easy for people to tell you how this products is screwed up. for 4 hours my document cloud storage was disappearing one at a time from my 7 devices. then i couldnt upload anything to my doc storage cloud, now none of its even there! why do i have to chat about that? im furious! why cant i just send a fraggle rockin email about this? then someone send me an email back on how to fix it? i have no time to chat w you while i explain it and you eventually get it. why do i have to solve this problem on YOUR time? do me a solid- look up my email and tell me where the eff my documents stored on adobes cloud went! i need several of them now now now, sorry- more like 5 hours ago! i pay for that service so i can access dox at anytime- its kind of like the one thing that should NEVER go wrong! i only put stuff on the cloud if theres a chance im going to need it IMMEDIATELY. 2. STOP with the advertising/up-sell notifications!

   When I open a PDF, I expect to be able to interact with it as soon as it loads, not have to wait 15 seconds while a stupid up-sell overlay loads and then have to close that before I can actually READ the PDF. That **** should be in a newsletter, not in the **** app.

   Comment rplies are hidden by default and can not be changed. So when you hover over it or double click the comment. You do not see the reply. And so can get missed.

   Apologies for the trouble, can you provide the Acrobat version you are using. Also does Acrobat quits with a crash? if yes kindly provide the crash logs.

6. Cannot enter calculations for fields

   It is a Bug, not an idea.

   When trying to insert a calculation into a form field to show the new date (also with other simple calculations), for example

   var f = this.getField("Heute");
   f.value = util.printd("d.m.yyyy",new Date());

   I can insert it, but when clicking OK the field is empty and nothing calculates.

   There seems to be an error, snce this has worked befor – or I am doing it wrong, but I cannot see how.

   Any ideas?

7. Acrobat quit unexpectively

   With Mac os High Sierra Acrobat often quit unexpectively. Sometimes its quite impossible to check a pdf.

8. Choose pages option in Combine

   As with Acrobat 9 Pro, your new DC versions needs a "choose pages or select pages" option when combining multiple documents into one pdf. The old version easily allowed you to select the individual document, and enter that you wanted to include only pages 1-22, 56-68, 543. Only these pages would be included. With DC I was just told by your customer support team that I would need to expand the document, and scroll through what could be a 1,000 page document and hand select the pages I need. Will not purchase program if this is the only way to select pages.

   Hi Liz G,

   Sorry for the late reply.
   Selecting page range for combing is already present in combine feature of Acrobat.
   After adding the file switch to list view of combine and Select the pdf you want to choose mention the range and click on “Page Range”. choose your page range (eg 1-5,10-12 etc). Combine to get desire result.

   By default auto-update feature is turned ON, but you can infact turn it OFF.

10. Invert page order

    I suggest creating a new function to the "organize pages" that would allow to invert the order of pages. Very useful if I'm reading in Japanize

11. Make sort by groups collapsed as the default behavior

    When I sort comments: by type, author, color, page, etc, the groups are always fully open. If I'm sorting by a particular group, I want to target something within a group. If I have a lot of comments, they scroll past the end of the comment pane. So EVERY TIME, I have to collapse the groups. At the very least, make the name of the groups BOLD somehow, so that I can see which group it is more easily. Also, I miss the little twirl down triangle, That UI was more intuitive. I don't like the ellipses.

Since we need not only the recognized text, but also font information and text position, your OCR technology as integrated into the Acrobat DC provides the best quality for our needs, but unfortunately, there seems to be absolutely no possibility to automate the OCR process? Your mobile app seems to access some cloud api, since there you can make a picture with your phone and get the OCRed PDF within seconds from the Adobe servers, but the API is not public (at least up to our knowledge). Please let us know, if there is any way to automate the OCR process (we come with a document scan, you give us the OCRed PDF or XML etc.).

13. BUG: DC PRO crash while highlighting and comments on scanned hand written notes document

    Brand new Win 10 Surface Book with everything updated including Acrobat. When highlighting and adding comments to a scanned handwritten document, DC PRO crashed and hours of work were lost as the file I was working on was not in the temporary saved files. In troubleshooting, I found that auto-save to temporary files was not turned on in preferences. I am used to working with MS Word which automatically saves every document you have opened and changed and I assumed Adobe would do likewise. I have not had a crash like this on DC PRO like many others have reported but after reading the reports I will be saving the file I am editing myself every 5 minutes along with the temporary file auto save which is now activated. It seems absurd that an expensive program like this does not allow recovery of documents in event of a crash. NONSENSE! I would send an error report but none was even generated. How do you expect to prevent problems like this in future if the program does not even produce an error report? Again, pure nonsense.

14. Add option to include Name and Email on sent docs

    Add option to include Name and Email on sent docs. Not just email. Then the name will be auto inserted into the signature and person does not have to type their name. They only have to click to sign. It is very cumbersome to have to type your name and sign. Docusign and many other systems do this. Adobe only one that doesn't allow you to enter name

15. Please add Pinning of Bookmarks to LHP on Acrobat DC (Classic)

    Please add the Pinning of Bookmarks/Pages on the left hand pannel to Adobe Professional DC (Classic).
    We have end users who scan thousands of pages a day and find this to be an unacceptable waste of time.

16. Error message "Unknown error" when trying to edit

    Acrobat Pro DC loads the attached PDF file correctly but when try to edit it gives the error “Adobe Acrobat has encountered an unknown error”.

17. Acrobat Pro DC's AcroRd32.exe may not close when loaded through the ActiveX PDF Reader object

    One of our clients is experiencing issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. We have an Internet Explorer/ActiveX application in which a user can view PDF files through Internet Explorer's 'Adobe PDF Reader' ActiveX control.

    When the user closes the control, Acrobat DC's AcroRd32.exe will close a moment later. If the user opens another PDF document too quickly after closing the first one, this new instance of AcroRd32.exe will not shut down properly even after closing the control.

    Adobe Reader DC does not have this issue, but there it appears related to the 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' checkbox under 'Security (Enhanced)' in the preferences. When this checkbox is disabled, Adobe Reader DC will display the same issue. However, this checkbox doesn't exist in Acrobat Pro DC.

    What can we do to prevent this from happening for our customers that use Acrobat Pro DC?

20. Adobe "Browse for file/folder" function is poorly designed

    in the new versions of Adobe, the browse for folder function - to open or save a file - is useless. Contrast it to every other conventional windows application, looking more like Windows Explorer where you can easily navigate to a folder, subfolder, file - but in Adobe, it immediately requires scrolling down, then selecting, scrolling down more, selecting a subfolder, etc.
