  1. I cannot copy and paste any text into the message area. Its awful. I have to retype my instruction to my clients over everytime I send docs out. Also I can't place my logo or signature greeting at the bottom, makes me look unprofessional. If there is an option for this please do tell because I don't see it.

  2. I am a Creative Cloud user of multiple programs including Photoshop (no issues), InDesign (no issues), and others (no issues). However, a repeating error forces me to reinstall Creative Cloud, which is corrupted in some way that interferes only with Adobe Acrobat DC. After each new installation of CC, I can no longer create or edit PDFs. Error = "license or key is invalid or expired". Allowing tech support to access my computer remotely and remove the corrupted link works temporarily until I am once again forced to reinstall Creative Cloud. There's a bug in there somewhere!

  3. There should be a setting when creating a form in Acrobat Pro such that when a user opens it in Acrobat Reader and they click on the comment icon, that the comment list pane on the right side of the document does not automatically open up. This is confusing for some users. They should be able to open it up manually, but it should be possible to set it to not auto-open that pane.

  5. Hi,
in a Corporate environment the user often has to approve documents not only for itself but also on behalf of other colleagues.
This is why there should be more than 2 spaces allowances to add Signs

  6. It will be interesting to have as before a separate PDF Printer Driver Package to install separately on Print Server for example.

When using Citrix Publish Apps (1912 LTSR), impossible to redirect Adobe PDF local Printer.

  7. Prepare Forms has always had a 'Button' tool, which could have simple actions applied to it [eg. reset form, submit form]. I eventually found it in the 'Rich Media' tools, but there is no longer an option to assign actions. This is a fundamental function of preparing forms in Acrobat. Please put it back in the Prepare Forms tools and even if it's going to stay in the Rich Media tools – what's the point of having buttons that don't DO anything?

  8. I am currently in graduate school. I use adobe acrobat pro DC all the time to convert my classes powerpoints into pdfs. Once they are formatted as a pdf, I can take notes on them, and it sticks.
I just realized I have been doing it wrong. I have been using the Add Text option, an option within the fill & sign tool. While this has been most effective in taking notes on powerpoints and helping me study, there have been many issues with it.
The fill & sign tool is not made for quick note taking and texts. Adobe…

  9. The redact feature is really buggy, I was trying to redact text but the overlay text even set really small would go into two lines rather than one word and to select the redact paragraph was not user friendly. I instead just redacted it with the overlay white cover and then used the comment feature and wrote in redact

  10. In version 2021.001.20138 it's impossible to open XFA-based forms (sample attached).

    1. Open any XFA form.
    2. All you get is an modal message "No error". When you click [OK] then you'll see the "Please wait …" shell PDF of the XFA form, which is generally only shown by PDF viewer that don't support XFA.
    3. Tested on Windows 10
    4. Display contens of dynamic XFA form
    5. Nonsense error message "No error." and display of shell PDF.

The problem is the same in Acrobat Reader DC.

  11. The output preview ("op") window has a standard width that can not be underrun. As the window is very big, it would help if you could narrow the window more than it is possible at the moment. Therefore you would have more space on the monitor for your document itself. In my case with my older monitor, the window uses nearly one-third of the space of the whole screen and annoys me very often.

  12. This needs to be fixed. We are wasting a lot of time constantly be required to sign in to our account, often times on a weekly basis.
We have an annual subscription and this should not be happening.
Frankly I'm getting **** tired of it.
    FIX THIS!!!

  13. The scale ratio requires you to input decimals rather than fractions when measuring architectural scales, i.e. 0.125" = 1'-0" for 1/8" = 1'-0". However, after inputting the decimals, Acrobat rounds to the nearest 2 decimal places. So 0.125" becomes 0.13". Doing so makes all measurements off by .005". This is unacceptable in the architectural world. This functionality should NEVER round the decimals, and should house at least 3 decimal places to ensure accuracy.

This occurs on Mac and Windows, in every version of Acrobat and Acrobat Pro currently downloadable. It was tested by my team and internally at Adobe.

First of all I want to thank all of you guys you are doing a great job.

second, I know that we can attach a jpg file ,but you will have to leave the reader and open it and when you send it to others it won't open and I know that we can edit pdf to add images ,but sometimes there is no enough space in the page and its so hard to readjust the pdf so it looks normal again, so if we could to comment…

  15. I have a fully licensed and paid-for Acrobat DC 2015 program. The Adobe CC Photography plan has installed an 'update' that prevents me from using the program unless I pay $20 a month for a subscription to the new program. I have already paid for what I have and it satisfies my requirement once every few months to re-order pages in an Acrobat document. How can I get my paid-foir program back?

  16. I work a lot with 2-bit (black/white) files of music scores. Since there is not a lot of text, the OCR-based deskew doesn't always work. In the current version of Acrobat DC there is NO incremental rotate, and if you use the "Edit Using" function to get to Photoshop, the Arbitrary rotation functionality is unavailable. This means there is CURRENTLY NO WAY TO DESKEW MUSIC using any combination of Adobe products. This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

  18. Hello together,

since I switched to the latest macOS Big Sur 11.2 from Catalina, I'm noticing the following with Acrobat DC.
I would like to delete a print cut line on the PDF. To do this, I go to the Print Production tab and select Edit Object. Then I select the print cut line and delete it.
Well, the cut line does not disappear directly. Only when I zoom in or resize the window. It seems like the desktop doesn't register the change (delete punch) or only with a time delay. On Catalina the change was not so delayed.
    I…

  19. I am trying to log into Adobe Acrobat to combine files, it won't let me sign in. The mini window will only let me type in my email, it will not allow me to hit continue and pressing "enter" does nothing. I paid for the service and I can't even use it.

  20. Since acrobat pro dc 20135, and patch 20138, acrobat is not working with BPDX files to update a search index. I call acrobat.exe with a bpdx file passed as an argument, acrobat launches, and then the window appears as it did before attempting to update the index. Then message appears "fatal search engine error (-6) not able to find the file". I just went through an issue - after update 20135, with acrobat not being able to search a PDX file - saying file not found. Update 20138 fixed the issue with acrobat but I suspect the issue still exists…
