  1. A few versions ago, Acrobat/Portfolio had options on how to present your portfolio, Carousel was one option I used when combining all our company literature for our salesmen. The New Acrobat DC (Professional) doesn't have that and wish it did. It gave the portfolio a nice professional look to it, a feature I would expect from Adobe.

  3. The Japanese version of Acrobat pro has "承認用に電子メールで送信" function in "Send For Comments".

In that function, email is sent by each steps of approvement.
but at the final approvement, the following two mails are sent.
    1. The xxxx.pdf is completed to approve and sent to @.cp.jp
    2. The xxxx.pdf is finally approved.

I think the 1st email is not neccesary on the final approvement.

So please change not to send the confirmation email on final approvement.

  4. The Japanese version of Acrobat pro has "承認用に電子メールで送信" function in "Send For Comments".

In that function, I can choose email address by clicking CC button.
But the chosen email address is not imported.
The CC box is still empty.
I have to write the email in the CC field.

    Please fix it.

  6. Does Adobe Acrobat Reader DC work on Android and I pad tablets? If so, how is it acquired as I have a subscription for a desktop for Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC. Also would be convenient to talk to a human in your company as your current customer service is dismisal

  8. In previous versions, when combining files in Adobe Acrobat, it was easy to tell immediately whether the portfolio option was ticked.

Now, it is hidden under the 'Options' gear icon. Acrobat remembers the last setting so it is impossible to say what it might be at any given time without clicking the gear icon to check.

This slows down workflow and is needless when there is plenty of room on the toolbar to show this information and is a step backwards from previous versions where this option was immediately visible.

    Please re-instate the old behaviour.

  9. I cannot vote for the hundreds of other suggestions that suggest this same thing!!! Adobe personnel have closed them too quickly. However, I would like to be able to create a PDF from a word document (or any other document type) and have linked documents (of all types) appended to the pdf the way Acrobat does for "Create a PDF from a website" options. This is not just a "nice to have" this is a MUST HAVE and if I find a competing product that already does this, I will buy it and cease my use of Acrobat Pro.

  10. Bug report re Output Preview/Color Warnings/Show Overprinting

When 'Show Overprinting' is toggled on it displays the results in the selected colour on the page being viewed. However, when you navigate to the next page frequently no results are displayed. When you navigate through the rest of the document, results are sometimes displayed, often not.

The only way to get 'Show Overprinting' to display consistently and correctly is to toggle it off and back on for every single page.

  11. Every online merchant offers multiple payment methods, including Credit or Debit Cards, PayPal, Apple Wallet, etc. In every case of card use there are 5 things required by Banks today. 1 Name on Card 2. Card Numbers
    3. Expiry Date 4. CVC number on the back of the card. 5. Address associated to the card .
Adobe does not allow for the CVC nunber and most of the time, my cards are declined, for security reasons. If this continues. I will change to another PDF software,
    Thanks Carl

  14. I use hyperlinking a lot (in DC too). It works well for me, but often Adobe Acrobat DC stops working - freezes, and I need to restart the programme

  16. I've been converting .ai to pdf by dragging onto Acrobat DC. By doing this, I don't need fonts or linked images. Had a file that gave me the error: "Acrobat pdf conversion could not be completed. This could be due to a network error or if there is no valid Acrobat online service membership."
Other .ai files convert just fine, but this one file it doesn't work. I dragged onto Acrobat Pro 11 and the file converts just fine. It's curious it works on an older version of acrobat but not DC.

  17. Adobe Acrobat does not have this feature available yet.

    ie: https://cloud.acrobat.com/send

    Needs the following features online:

Preview GIF animations & Preview videos online.
Right now you can only view content as a static JPG you have to download all assets in order for the client to preview files.

This creates a redundant step for a client especially if they are not tech savvy.

Gifs have to be reopened with a browser & videos need to be viewed on the clients video player.

If the link is already online not understanding why you need to download & reopen in a browser…

  18. Please make this feature optional per document, its very useful in some cases but a right pain when not required i.e. large documents containing scanned text.

please, please, pretty please can this be sorted?

  19. I just found out that my Adobe Pro 10, purchased in 2011, is no longer supported by Adobe. I was never notified that was the case. If Adobe had notified me I would have bought an upgrade. Wouldn't it be a good idea to send an e-mail to subscribers so they could spend money upgrading?

  20. Using DC Pro and my quick tool button for encryption does not work mostly, and is sporadic at best. i open the file select the security icon on the quick tools and if it allows me to use it, it is fine. most of the time,i will select the icon and the #2 selection and then nothing happens, no further pop up screen. I go back in to select the icon and the features are greyed out, forcing me to go the long way around to add the password.
