  2. Preflight Prepress Profile, Sheetfed Offset (CMYK and spot) no longer warns of glyph width issues

    I noticed that Acrobat DC's Sheetfed Offset preflight profile no longer warns of fonts with glyph width issues. Unfortunately, I became aware of this after misprinting book covers due to this issue. Although the font Georgia-Italic previews fine within Acrobat, it outputs as shown within Finder's preview. Acrobat X1 and several other preflight applications flag this issue but Acrobat DC does not.

    Based on my tests, version 1 of this particular font must be exported from InDesign with the subset fonts option at 100% (rather than the recommended 0%). Although I know how to fix the issue, I need Acrobat…

  3. Single-Key Accelerator Does Not Work For Comments

    Header says it all...have to click on the comment tool on the side to
    add comments.

  4. Frustrating that I can't sign a doc someone else has already signed. I'm back to printing and signing with a pen and scanning again.

    Frustrating that I can't sign a document that someone else has already signed. I'm back to printing out and signing with a pen, then scanning back in, very cumbersome and exactly what I am trying to avoid by paying for adobe. Please amend to allow signing, perhaps with the other signatory's permission?

  5. Acrobat desktop ver 20.012.22043 doesn't run in the beta version of macOS

    I understand that you don't support beta OS versions, but it crashes with a document open whenever I do anything. Print, Save, Edit, etc. Also true in Reader. Reported to Apple, also. This will need to be fixed soon or your customer service people will be very unhappy.

  8. default unit inches

    The default unit setting for a fresh installation or a new updated version of Acrobat is always on Inches. even though my system is set to metric and I'm in Europe.

    It would be great if Acrobat would choose a default unit that fits the system settings or regional standard.

  10. You screwed up the bookmarks They no longer will go to the zoom level I set when i set them further when I set to inherit it does not

    The bookmarks are no longer inheriting the zoom level. Even when set to do so. This started three days ago. Clicking on the book mark does nothing but let me edit the name. It does not seem to move to the place, it certainly does not inherit the zoom. Which diminishes the value of the feature immeasurably.

  11. Signed/ Completed document storage customization in Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud web version and application

    You can add folders under the "Your documents" but not under the signed/ complete documents under "All Agreements".(you also cannot move signed/completed documents into the folders you created under "Your Documents"). I have hundreds of signed agreements and I have to pull old ones back up frequently. Trying to find one in that mess is very difficult.

    Also, you cannot filter completed documents by title or keyword, only by date.

  12. (A way to) Disable (animation of) plan information in tools panel

    At the bottom of the tools panel information is located about my adobe plan.
    The issue with this information area is, that it is animated. When opening Acrobat, this area is fist empty, then it pops up information about adobe cloud and then changes to information about my plan.

    This is the only part of the GUI that's "animated". This is very distracing, as a GUI should - without user input - only be "animated" if there is something important going on.
    For daily work (which might include opening and closing acrobat a lot) the information presented there is not…

  13. Keep me signed in

    I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Windows 10 computer. This software makes me log back in. I would tell you how often but this is inconsistent on my computer sometimes it goes a month but this week I have signed in twice. When I have to log back in it closes everything I'm working on which is a huge inconvenience.

    In Acrobat Pro DC, print Production menu - Convert Colours - selection of pages only available from ...- to ... If multiple page selection with comma separation is available, then work flow would be faster.

    stop taking over and exporting my Microsoft Word office documents saved in pdf form. When using my Word office then saving docs to pdf they are now opening in adobe acrobat dc. I use to be able to save my docs in pdf form, open them with my microsoft office and add signatures and write text on them through that program. Now when I save a document it AUTOMATICALLY is converted into an adobe pdf and opens in adobe dc WHICH I DO NOT WANT! I should have the OPTION on choosing which program opens my pdf. If I choose…

  16. Please make this feedback reporting system much, much, much simpler. I was expecting a window to appear where I can just type in my issues.

    Make feedback simple. Like it used to be for software. Just click on a feedback button in the application and type your feedback. This web based, second party system is absurd.

  17. No license warning if system clock is incorrect

    Only show license warning (there's an issue with your system clock...), if the date isn't correct for more than 1 day or so. Every month, when billing my clients, I change the local date and time to the 31st of the previous month (even if it's already the 1st or 2nd of the following month), so that I have the dates of the last month on the bill. So the system-clock-warning is really annoying and forces me to switch back and forward the clock all the time.

  18. Bug: Leading space in auto-generated form field name blocks script manipulation

    In "Prepare Form" form fields are sometimes auto-generated with names that contain leading space e.g. " _2b". These fields looks innocent in user interaction. But when one want to manipulate them in javascript, they are listed out in getNthFieldName() yet invisible in getField(), thus blocking the automation.

    Solution 1: allow leading/trailing space in getField()
    Solution 2: trim field names in form field auto-generation

    Implement both would be best.

  19. Send File By Email Tab - Blank. Not able to attach to email to send file

    The program has been freezing multiple times in the last week just opening a document. The Send By Email envelope has changed to the top right corner of the document in the last week as well. Clicking on the envelope opens up a blank screen with no options to attach to email. I use this function many times a day to submit bids.
