1. New Simplified Appearance

   Go back to the old layout appearance as this new one sucks. You have taken what once just lived in the old file menu bar, hen taken it and shifted repeatable functionalities to the right hand side bar in the previous "new layout", but this "new simplified" layout takes that and now gives you two side bars and almost no functional "settings" adjustments you can make all from one place. You have decentralized all the settings, options, and tools thus making it look more sparse but in actuality making it less simplified.

   Do better.

   Don't change the appearance and functionalities and call it simplified when you havemade it harder than just having everything in the top file menu bar.

   This is poor design, poor engineering, and lacklustre coding, and in keeping with Adobe's continual efforts to thwart actual usability without paying for functionality and use.

2. Open multiple files in separate windows, not as tabs in single window.

   New Acrobat UI no longer has the option to open to open multiple files in separate windows and defaults to multiple files as tabs in one window. I found the option of great use with older versions. Please bring back this option.

3. I HATE the interface - I hate it I hate it I hate it!

   The GIANT icons! The in-app sending that doesn't work! The childishness of the design and interface! The distance from the powerful controls that I have come to use and count on from decades of using Acrobat pro and seeing it grow in capacity and power.

   I open this, save a document, send a document, reset the screen again to show thumbnails, I curse you all.
   
   How can it be both harder to use and more childish?

5. Add Search Function/Box to Cloud File Storage Services (e.g. Box, Dropbox, Onedrive)

   We need the ability to query a Cloud storage account for a present folder (and the ability to create a new folder) when opening or saving files directly from Adobe Acrobat.

   Since it seems Adobe uses the same infrastructure for all cloud storage systems, if this is implemented for one company, I'd imagine it'd be entered for all compatible ones (Box, Dropbox, Onedrive, etc.).

   We already have this functionality in the Microsoft Office integrations of these same cloud providers, so using Acrobat significantly slows the process of opening or saving files from the cloud when one has to go through the file hierarchy (instead of a simple search function).

7. AI Summary banner "x" does not work. I do not want to see this banner and the feature for removing it is not working. I do not want an AI su

   The "x" button for getting rid of the AI Summary feature is not working. This is dumb. It takes up space. It's distracting. I don't want to use AI if I don't have to because (a) there are real privacy concerns that have not been ameliorated, and (b) the amount of energy consumption is wasteful and bad for the environment. I want my kids to have a chance to live in a world where most people have access to clean water, and AI is like 10,000 steps backwards on this. One inquiry in ChatGPT for example, uses several 16 oz bottles of water that can never be purified. AI is in that way so insulting and terrible, yet every program is pushing it in our faces like it's harmless. It's not harmless. These banners are distracting. The button to get rid of them does not work, and further, it should be easier to disable it completely or at least disable the pop-ups. Get it out of here. I'm not paying $21.99/month to be served ads by my software for how to more quickly destroy the environment. outrageous.

8. Get rid of the AI (artificial intelligence) pop-ups!!!

   This whole feature is a distraction. We cannot be so busy that we must now have artificial intelligence helping us with our jobs. The pop-up is always in the way; I can't turn it off no matter what I've tried from the recommendations, including reverting back to the "old" Adobe; the prior version of Acrobat is so old and has been out of use so long, now I'm trying to retrain where to find the simplest tools. I was happily used to using the newer version, until this AI piece was added in. Please get this out of here; it is counter-productive. Thank you!

9. Scroll bars missing on Acrobat DC September 2023 (masOS)

   It is extremely frustrating that the scroll bars are missing on the September 2023 release of Acrobat DC - they re-appear on a mouse click, but do not respond to Wacom pen. So to scroll through a PDF, the pen has to be put aside. This is slowing down my work considerably, and there has been a lot of frustration expressed in the Adobe Support Community, especially among Wacom users. This is not a behaviour that we can be expected to "get used to" or "love", as it has not been designed with the user in mind.

10. Go back to the last interface please!

    The new version is horrible. Definitely was not created to save time, but to waste it instead. I have wasted so much time in the last couple of days trying to find workarounds to the options that are now gone! What happened to "Undo"? Now if a mistake is made, the whole document has to be deleted and started over. Also, the "fill in forms fields" doesn't stay open so when a document needs several marks, it has to be re-opened every time, which is annoying. And don't get me started on documents that you have to enable editing! None of the fill in form field options work. I'm not bothered that things are in different locations, but why did you do away with needed/critical features? I've been trying to find what I need in the settings, but what I need isn't in any of them. I am very upset that I can no longer use Adobe to do my job. Very saddened and disappointed. Please do NOT take away the previous interface because we all still need to do our jobs!

11. Configure Digital Signatures Without Mouse

    The dialog to configure a digital signature currently requires the use of a mouse. If the steps cannot be completed with a keyboard alone, the interface is not accessible.

12. Save/Save new PDF not working

    Save. 'Save as'. CMD + S. It doesn't matter how I attempt, I cannot save regular PDFs from inside Acrobat. I have to create an 'optimized PDF' in order to save any of my work inside of Acrobat. I have been loving the functionality of the new Acrobat, but now I can't even save. Very frustrating.

13. AI Assistant – Don’t bother me while I’m off!

14. Floating toolbar

    Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
    Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

15. Annoying Pop-ups

    I'm sick of the annoying pop-ups that happen EVERY time I open Adobe. I'm seriously considering finding another alternative to Adobe since I don't need most of the functionality anyway. People are busy and want to get their work done without these constant annoyances. Please fix this or give us an option to turn it off or you will lose business.

17. enable scrolling - please

    View>Page Display > Enable scrolling. Make it easy to change the default for this OR even better please make enabled scrolling the default view. Who on this earth doesn't want to enable scrolling? Please tell me what kind of business person that is who likes the pages to keep jerking around as you get too close to the bottom of the screen when enabled scrolling is not enabled. Tell me! Probably seismologists.

18. Add comments to PDFs in Microsoft Teams (or OneDrive or Dropbox)

    Working in Microsoft Teams it is needed to be able to make comments in the same PDF-file (online) like we can do in Word and Excel-files, so the team can see each others comments, and add their comments in the same PDF (without having to download and upload, which will result in several PDFs, and will not be very efficient).

    Where did the zoom tools go? They used to be visible in the main tool bar... I mean, I get there are other ways to zoom in and out of my pdf, but why remove such a common functionality? Please bring them back.

    Hi,

    Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
    We have not removed the zoom tools from the main toolbar and those are already there.

    I assume you might have undocked the Toolbar so you may be getting a black floating window over the document area which would be having the zoom tools.

    I would request you to kindly Dock it back to the Main toolbar by clicking the rightmost icon from that floating window.

    Also, if this is not the case i would request you to kindly do a right click on your main toolbar and select “Reset Toolbar” from the context menu. (This way your main toolbar will get back to the default state which would anyways be having the Zoom tools.

20. Acrobat CC excessive Ram usage

    Acrobat CC has suddenly started using excessive amounts of RAM to the point that it is paused and has to be quit and restarted. This also happens if left alone with no files open.
    Having pitstop plugin open or not makes no difference. This is on an imac retina 5k late 2014 with 16gbs ram and only started happening Sept 1 2017, Acrobat CC has been installed for at least a year with no issues (and other versions before that have not had this issue).
    The RAM usage seems to increase much more quickly if it is an image heavy file open but still happens after a time even if a small vector file is opened, and happens over a couple of hours if no files are open.
    Currently I have to restart acrobat at least hourly (usually more often) or all of the software open will be paused and I have to restart the computer.
    There is a thread about this on the adobe forums with several others reporting the same issue.
