  1. One moment, I was using Acrobat to review and edit page proofs for a medical journal I handle and the next moment all my customization was gone! No toolbars, nothing I need to do my job. All gone! Additionally, the new layout is HUGE and unwieldy. I want to be able to sort through several PDFs to compare pages and revisions. Now, I have one page taking up the middle of my screen and this giant blank workspace all around it. Where did everything go? Why did Adobe completely change everything after years of a familiar, but ever updating application?…

  2. The new version of Acrobat is the worst program I have ever seen in any category. I dont usually use vulgar language, but the long list of 4 letter words available would be the only way to fully describe the latest user interface. Everyone makes mistakes, but the entire team that is responsible for this product should be fired. All tools and details needed to navigate and manipulate a file were so easy prior to this useless version.

  3. Why it is impossible to have editing options as they were previously? Can a 'Classic view' be added for those of us older than 5?
Everything in this new 'charms' based UI is fussy and time-consuming. I've been using Acrobat since its inception and now I'm having to relearn nearly everything. WHY?
It wasn't broken, so the need to 'fix it' has created a frustrating experience.

  4. PLEASE stop making this thing pop up at me. I do not want it. Every time I open a document it bugs me to "summarize" it or give me info on it, but the info it gives is incorrect, wrong, and purely made up. It's a stupid, useless tool built on stolen data. Stop shoving it down my throat. I have no need for a inaccurate summary of anything!! What benefit is that?

  5. I'm sick of the annoying pop-ups that happen EVERY time I open Adobe. I'm seriously considering finding another alternative to Adobe since I don't need most of the functionality anyway. People are busy and want to get their work done without these constant annoyances. Please fix this or give us an option to turn it off or you will lose business.

  7. Roll back your update and don't make us use this awful, unintuitive, garbage new user interface. It is horrible, you have done an awful job of soliciting average user feedback.

  8. The new user interface / page design is terrible! The new tool and zoom locations make mouse movements awkward and less fluid. Please change it back. There was nothing wrong with how it was.

  10. Return the Acrobat interface to something professional, similar to InDesign, Photoshop, etc, instead of the childish and dysfunctional mess.

  12. I'm required to fill in a lot of forms with my signature and the date. And since the date always changes, I edit my signature image in PSD and then bring it in to Acrobat and make (or edit) a stamp. But in Acrobat the process of editing a stamp with a new image is grueling! ... 10 steps! (see attached).

  13. The most recent update to how pages function is not user friendly. The scroll bar has virtually disappeared. I must continually re-enable it for every document. Very frustrating.

  14. Hate the new layout and design, everything is now back to front and upside down in terms of trying to find things.

Why could you not keep the same design and just upgrade the features.

As the old saying goes don't fix what is not broken..........

Hate the new design and to say it is meant to be user friendly is a joke.

  15. It would be helpful to determine how best the User from our Enterprise ID Plan uses Adobe Acrobat Pro DC application if a report that could be generated to brief the usage statistics for a period of past 60-90 days.

It would also be helpful for us to MANAGE/RE-ALLOCATE the license to a CORE USER instead of Poor Usage User

  16. Why are there limited commenting tools for PDF shared reviews uploaded to Document Cloud? This would be a perfect option for our organization if all the commenting tools were available (i.e., "stamp" tool, "attach file" tool).

  17. When macs left unattended and Acrobat pro running the application increasing consumes CPU time and memory. Coming in the next morning my machine is extremely slow to respond. This is happening on two mac machines I use.. one Sierra 10.12.6 and one High sierra. Both machine regularly use MS office applications and Saffari and Chrome browsers. Both utilize Mcafee. Acrobat will not close unless being forced to do so.

  18. Create shortcut on Home page to "Create PDF from Scan". A lot of users primarily use Acrobat to create pdfs from paper. It shouldn't take 4 mouse clicks to get this done. Also, there is now no way to use keyboard shortcuts to effect a scan. Alt-F-R-S is as far as one can go because the new blue Scan button does not have a keyboard shortcut.

  19. As of version (mac) 23.6.20320.0, the vertical scroll bars were removed, as confirmed by your support team.

Why oh why? This breaks workflows. Please add them back, or minimally add a preference to enable them.

(Note that they sometimes appear temporarily, but then disappear.)

  20. The new update seems to be SO SLOW and crashed on me twice.
I was unable to figure out how to employ the delete-an-item function in "Edit" (by dragging over a section and clicking delete) in the new format and switched back to the previous format to be able to do this. Super annoyed.
