  1. Hi, I'm using adobe version 2024.005.20320. I recently got this update and I don't like it. It is terrible. I cannot properly highlight text. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Same with drag to pan document. It doesn't always work. Scroll zooming does not work too, I have to go to physically press the

  2. I created a 2 page PDF using an HP Scanner. I saved the file as a PDF. If I open the PDF in Chrome or Edge, I can scroll to see both pages. But, if I open the PDF in Acrobat DC, only the first page shows and the page count shows 1 of 1. Any suggestions as to why?

  3. I compared Acrobat X with the current version of Acrobat: At X you have 20 comments in the window at glance and in the current version it's just 9 comments! If I have a document with 1000 comments I have to scroll much more than in X and makes my work slower than before.

    Please make more comments visible at a glance again!

  4. We use Box Drive and Clio. When I try to save directly to these from Adobe Pro there's no option to sort the folders by Date Modified. I therefore have to scroll through 2k+ folders to get to my recent cases. I find this to be a ridiculous oversight that it isn't an option, when I was able to do it in the free "preview" version of Adobe on my Mac. This needs to be resolved ASAP.

  5. Lightroom needs to bring back the function that allows you to organise your presets into folders. I currently have hundreds of presets from different creators and they're all jumbled up in a complete mess and I have to scroll through every single one to find the one I want. This needs to be prioritised as it's slowing down workflow for I imagine thousands of people.

  6. I use up and down arrows to scroll through PDF files. (I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024.002.20759 64 bit on windows). Empirically there appear to be two modes for this. In one mode, there is no blinking cursor and using the arrow keys is similar to using the scroll bar. However, if I click in the text pane, then there is a blinking cursor, and the arrow keys manipulate the position of that cursor.   7. Every change made with quick tools or tool bar freezes the PDF, takes 10 seconds and then blink screen once before allowing other changes.

    For example, If I want to highlight a text. I move over it with my cursor and it shows me the highlighted text. The screen freeze for 10 seconds, blinks and only then will it let me scroll down or choose another option or allow another highlight.

  8. Every time I open a new PDF Acrobat opens quickly and shows the first page of the pdf but then the whole app seems to freeze ... I can't move or minimize the window, I can't scroll through the document .. nothing. After about a minute the app will begin to work as expected with no further issues.

    This is incredibly annoying.

  9. As a new user of Acrobat DC, I combine 2 files and save the portfolio. When I open up my new combined file there is a column panel on the left that shows the 2 documents that I combined. I cannot scroll through my new combined document from page 1 to the end. Rather, I must use arrows to toggle between my 2 documents. What am I missing to see it as one new combined document? Thanks.

  10. Scenario: You attempt to comment on page n by rightclicking and using the comment function, while you are scrolled so far down, that page n+1 is already displayed as your current page.
    The Result: You create a comment marker on page n+1, however it is located in the same position that you had selected on page n.
    This is obviously not intended and probably a result of generating the page position of the comment by checking the "current page" of the document instead of using the page that was actually right clicked on.

    I have been using Acrobat Reader from Day 1 in the 1990s until today, and it remains my first choice for PDF documents.

    I often have 20-30 manuals open during my workday and I depend on the option to keep position in the documents so that when I open Acrobat Reader in the morning, I expect to be able to pick up where I left off.

    Lately (last year or so) Acroread has been losing my position in some but not all of the documents. And it does not retain the view (page size, 2 up) and very recently…

  12. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC a lot for my job, the fill and sign option, for about 5 - 6 hours a day. At least 2 times a day, randomly, I will try to access the fill and sign toolbar and as I scroll over the buttons, they just start disappearing. Luckily I have memorized the ones I need and can still save, shut the program down and reopen it. But, seriously....should I really even need to do that?

  13. I have a fillable form that was given to me that has a lot of text in one field. The text extends beyond the border established for the field and a scroll bar appears on the right hand side of the field to allow me to read it.

    I need to print the document with all of the contents in it but can't figure it out. Either I'm doing something wrong or there is a problem with the form or Adobe can't do it. Any help you can provide would be helpful.

  14. (mac) Before some recent update (same one that lost the scroll bars... still missing btw...), if you closed the all acrobat windows/tabs, the app would still run, and to open the main window again you'd click on the icon.
    Now, clicking on the icon does nothing. You have to either go into the menu with the application active and choose something that is likely to bring up a window, or open a document, or quit the app and open it again. None of those options are very good.

My job is to correct texts by using the "comment" function; my favourite function is sorting my comments by date, so that I can see what I did last.   16. I often receive PDF files from someone that has scanned them using a scanning photocopier. Sometimes alternate pages are upside down. i suspect this is due to an incorrect setting on the scanner. When I open the page manipulation tool, each time I select the little circle with the arrow beside a given thumbnail of a page, the page flips, but the tool then jumps back to page 1.   17. This box I'm typing in has no expansion triangle in the bottom right corner. Although it scrolls, the limited dimensions may be OK for ideas but are a hindrance for bug reporting. The entry space in the Acrobat Support Forums allows all the room one needs and allows the posting of images and video of anomalies. Yet the last couple of times I've reported a bug in Support, I've been redirected to re-report everything here and provide the Uservoice URL. If this is going to be a bug-reporting space as well as an "idea" space, it needs a full-featured editor.

    1. Open "Send"-tab in Adobe Sign
    2. Use the classic experience
    3. Upload about 10 to 15 files
    4. Try to sort it

    Environment:
    Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.4529)
    Microsoft Edge Version 126.0.2592.81 (64-Bit)

    Expected result:
    1. Files don't overlay the UI-elements
    2. File-container adds scrollbar and can be scrolled if attached files take up more space than the container is large
    3. Files can be sorted

    Observed result:
    1. Files overlay UI-elements (looks like overflow visible)
    2. No scrollbar is added
    3. Files can't be sorted in the part that overlays the other…

  19. I sign many documents that have multiple signature lines throughout the document. I read the first section and click sign ... no problems (#1). Then I read the second section. Once I'm comfortable with the text, I click to sign (#2) and it moves me back to my previous signature (#1). I have to scroll back down to the second signature line again and click to sign it again (my previous attempt did not sign, it just moved me backwards in the document). This is a problem in the new version that was not present in the old version: When switching between the normal viewing screen and the Organise Pages screen, the page being viewed on the normal viewing is not then highlighted on the Organise Pages screen. When going in the other direction, the page highlighted on the Organise Pages Screen is not then shown on the normal viewing screen.
