Latest updates to Adobe Acrobat Reader - PATHETIC!!!!!
Why take away the option of a permanent menu bar at the TOP of the screen. (Folks would REALLY like it if they had the choice of enabling / disabling a permanent MENU bar over a drop down list...)
Yes, the drop down list is good for some, but many of us DESPISE it!!!! We want the permanent menu bar.
The newest UI is not the greatest and a good number of us want tool bar option on the far RIGHT anyway...
And also, it seems the newest UI iteration DOES NOT honor the users' desire of opening Adobe WITHOUT…10 votes -

Wheel scrolling on bookmark pane is mandatory. Without it navigation through document is difficult. Also creating links to internal document is hampered.

Quick Access to tools actually used like new document and organize document.
I am unable to add tools like "new document" and "organize document" if I try to add them it gives me useless options under these categories and not the task I use regularly. Especially with "organize" you don't want a giant unneeded sidebar taking up space, really poor design.,

Adobe Acrobat DC Pro is powerful; however I find it impossible to save my frequently used tools. They move or disappear.
A quick access toolbar (see the one available in MS Word) is essential for me. Acrobat X/XI had something like it, in that my frequently used tools always would be in the same place. I did customize the tools in my Acrobat DC Pro, and arranged the order the way I like them- at least three times. Nonetheless, my customized tools don't appear at next use.

keep stamp toolbar open or add as a shortcut in quick tools
If you go from document to document stamping, you have to open the stamp toolbar every time. It would be useful to be able to add a particular stamp to the quick tools or to be able to keep the stamp toolbar open and not have to keep opening it.

Stop changing my tool preferences!!!!
Stop changing the preferences users have set on the tools bar on the right side of the screen. I don't know what triggers it, but every couple of months, the tools revert back to your defaults. I only have the tools that I use in that area - some of which are NOT in your defaults - and having to go back and find all of them, and then reorganize them is wasting my time because IT WAS ALREADY SET TO MY PREFERENCES!!!!

Screen freezes with every change made in the PDF with Quick tools
Every change made with quick tools or tool bar freezes the PDF, takes 10 seconds and then blink screen once before allowing other changes.
For example, If I want to highlight a text. I move over it with my cursor and it shows me the highlighted text. The screen freeze for 10 seconds, blinks and only then will it let me scroll down or choose another option or allow another highlight.

What tools can help convert Thunderbird files into NSF format?
Several reliable tools can help in the efficient conversion of Thunderbird files to NSF format. Out of these, EmailSoftwares Thunderbird to NSF Converter is one of the most recommended, providing seamless and safe migration while retaining the email properties, folder hierarchy, attachments, and formatting. It performs batch conversion, allows email previews prior to migration, and offers data filtering for selective conversion. Fully compatible with Lotus Notes and the Windows operating system, it is an easy-to-use tool for both technical and non-technical users. The free trial version lets one scan and preview Thunderbird mailbox data before full conversion.

new update makes work inefficient
This recent update is extremely frustrating. It dropped off tools that were in my toolbar previously (page view/zoom options disappeared) and I had to figure out how to get them back.
Not only is the comments bar is now uglier/bulkier, when you have sorted comments to not include ones marked as completed it no longer dynamically removes the comments you mark as you go. You now have to go back and clear your comment filter and reapply "none" to hide completed comments.
To add insult to injury, there is no longer an option for other versions in ACC, so I…

Acrobat text-edit comment functionality improvements needed
1) In the old comment pane, there was text that accompanied each entry identifying it as an underline, strikethrough, replacement, or insert. Now, the text identifier is gone and we only have an arcane symbol. This is awful. I work with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat and this only makes it more difficult for them to understand the nature of my comments. Please bring back the text labels that identify comment pane entries as underlines, strikethroughs, replacements, or inserts.
2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat on a collaborative team of a dozen people, right? I use…

What technological tools do you consider most important in protecting human rights?
I had the opportunity to use digital services during a campaign to support the rights of people from vulnerable groups. At the time, I was involved in a case involving the unfair dismissal of an acquaintance, and we were seeking a platform where we could collaborate and attract media attention. On the website https://freedomforallamericans.org/tech-solutions-human-rights-campaigns/, I came across a selection of solutions that help coordinate actions and quickly disseminate information. There, I found a service that makes it easy to collect signatures and send them to the authorities. It seemed like a simple form, but when we saw dozens of…

Better customization of the toolbar in acrobat pro 2020
Add ability to hide all unnecessary buttons from the toolbar. If the window is reduced to the size of a DinA4 page almost the whole toolbar is used up by the start and all tools tab and the share and login button. This is a huge disruption to the workflow. I earlier versions this was not an issue with options like creating custom toolbars

Add Feature like Adobe Command-Line Tools (*.exe) for Merging Multiple Files into 1 PDF
Would like for Adobe to have command-line tools (*.exe) for use in batch scripting or any languages for merging multiple documents into ONE PDF file so the task can be scheduled to run nightly... This would be an awesome tool opposing being forced to use the GUI (a manual process).

Bring back the old Interface
Th new userinterface is all over the place. We have a big grey unused border at the right and some random icons and tools at the left. It's not possible to move te tools from the left to the right, so theres always a toolbox above the pdf I want to read, while the right border is half empty. This is horrible, non-efficient and really annoying while reading.

Cannot save if file is being previewed in Windows File Explorer
On the Windows 10 desktop, if your view option in File Explorer is set to have a preview pane and the file you're working on is selected and being previewed, Acrobat will throw a dialog window that says: "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder.".
The preview pane is causing Acrobat to assume the file is in use, which technically it is, but this is a bug that shouldn't cause a file saving error. Selecting another file in File Explorer fixes this…

Adobe Acrobat DC x64 Unified Installer - hide/disable PDFMaker functionality while in 'Reader' mode
Requesting Acrobat DC x64 be updated to enable PDFMaker functionality across applications for a user ONLY if the full functionality of Acrobat Pro is activated by sign in and license validation; and disabled, hidden or greyed out when the user signs out of Acrobat and is in 'Reader' mode.
When using the Adobe Acrobat DC x64 Unified Installer the PDFMaker add-ins for Office products (Word, Outlook, etc) are automatically enabled, however, users that are in 'Reader' mode cannot use these features (Save as Adobe PDF, context menus to convert or append Outlook mailboxes to PDF, etc) and receive an error…

Right-click > Mark as Checked
In Acrobat 9, it was very easy to mark a comment as checked. You simply right-clicked on it and chose "Mark with Checkmark." Alternatively, there were also two different places in the Handy Commenting Toolbar to mark the comment as checked.
Sadly, in Acrobat X and going forward, the right-click > Mark as Checked feature was removed, as was the handy Commenting toolbar. So now the only way to mark something as checked is in the giant comment list (which is now by default vertical, as opposed to horizontal.
Instead, Acrobat has moved the only option for commenting over to…

Mapping the center mouse button to different tools
when pressing the center button on the mouse currently it allows 4 way scrolling option. It would be better for my use if it could be mapped to the hand tool instead of always having to switch back to the hand tool(for left click)
