Permanently Add Tool to Tool PanelI use the Accessibility tools every single day. However, I have to manually re-add it to the tool panel each time that I log on, unless I just leave the computer on and locked (and IT does not run an auto-patch and restarts my computer without asking). ter locked. Is there a way to set it add a tool permanently to the tool panel on a single computer (as with previous versions of Acrobat Pro)? Thanks. 2 votes

Adobe Does Not Understand Their UsersThere are so many parts of Acrobat that seem completely out of touch with how users actually use the software. Who in their right mind would make UI element states save in EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT? The bookmarks bar, the tools pane, the page view and scrolling method, etc. should all be part of the default software UI settings. I don't open the same PDF 20 times a day, so changing the view setting and then saving the document doesn't do anything for me. In fact, I mostly work with controlled documents, so I can't even save them if I… 1 vote

shortcut for measuring tool not workingI created a shortcut for the measuring tool within the floating widget; however, after the last update, this shortcut is not working. I have to go "All Tools" then select measuring tools in order for it to work. The kicker is the measuring tool is highlighted in the widget. 1 vote

Give option to make Hand Tool the default option instead of the Select ToolThe Select Tool is the default tool. I never use it and have never seen a need to use it. It makes the screen turn blue and wants to select things instead of letting me drag and move around the page to review large documents. I always have to stop what I'm doing and switch to the hand tool. I am opening and managing easily over 100 PDFs a day and having to switch at every new document is frustrating and time consuming. Adding this as an option would save so much time for users that need this as their… 18 votes

What the devil did you do to Acrobat?! You've butchered the standard menu and replaced it with some childish set of random buttons instead.Since the last update, I can't find the most useful tools because there's no longer a normal, standard "file, edit, ..." menu across the top... and I don't know if it's possible to get it back in a "Classic" form... if so, it shouldn't be hard to realize or see how to do it. You've made this an usable piece of ****. I'm spending more time looking for the tools I've used intuitively before, and getting my temper under control, than doing real work. GIVE ME BACK A STANDARD FORM MENU ON THE TOP, WITHOUT SEARCHING AND HUNTING FOR SUCH… 22 votes

This interface doesn't show me what I need! The new Acrobat looks lovely, but many of the tools I need are not there. I can't see what page I'm on in a document by quickly looking at the top of the screen; I can't have Comments and Pages open at the same time...these are things that I need to use the program! Thank goodness I was able to disable it! 16 votes

Fit page to windowNew update moved the fit page to window button to a hidden drop out floating toolbar. I use this tool and family of tools every time I am in Acrobat I should have the option of making always visible is the top docked quick tools toolbar like it was in the previous versions just the other day. 5 votes

When attempting to enter a text box in the top RH corner of a document the tool covers the area the document I am editingWhen attempting to enter a text box in the top RH corner of a document the tool covers the area the document I am editing. Have the tools we want to use permanently displayed revert back to version 9 format. 4 votesHi User, Thanks for reaching out to us.
The workaround for this is to click on the text properties icon bar to hide the properties so that you can easily see the text box.
Please let us know if this works for you.For the second ask, can you explain the issue again as we are not clear with the ask here.

New design is garbageSide panel page navigation are you stupid? who looks at the bottom right corner. at the very least let me choose what tools go where and the floating toolbar on the left is just lazy. finally if you are going to roll out a new one for all that is holy let me move my customizations with me. 14 votes

I HATE the latest Adobe AcrobatIf it ain't broke why "fix" it? The latest Adobe Acrobat is horrendous re: changes to the interface and functionality. Basic things like zoom function, where to access tools, or go to the next page have changed - why?! You're making people who have used Acrobat for years CHANGE the way they work, breaking workflow. It's slow to load and do most actions and hard to find things. I HATE it when Adobe moves things around like this. Please stop making arbitrary changes that break workflow for regular users. 28 votes

AI assistant buttonLike every other service, Adobe as well keeps making things increasingly difficult for people who are not neurotypical. Like this new AI button that SCREAMS in the right corner. Because of these kind of features, using these services (of which we pay a great deal for) is getting almost impossible. I really would appreciate the developers to take into account people whose brain simply does not work in a way that ignoring that HUGE colourful button in the corner is possible. Now that it is there, I cannot use Adobe Acrobat anymore without sticking a sticker to my computer screen… 61 votes

Customization for all default shortcut iconsIt makes no sense that customizing the tool bar is limited in that the default tools can't be deleted or even moved lower. Same goes for the side panel. Same goes for the navigation bar. Everyone uses the product differently, requiring/preferring widely varied views and tools. I don't see why adobe wouldn't provide full customization in order to better serve every user. Some of the default icons are ones I will absolutely never click on but I have no choice but to have and keep them in the prime and easiest to access locations on the page. 8 votes

Measuring Tool Keeps DisappearingWhy-oh-why does the measuring tool keep disappearing from my toolbar list down the right hand side of my screen.
I want it to stay there with all the other tools that stay there by default.
Why do you keep messing with an interface that should just work when I am signed in?2 votes

Get rid of the AI (artificial intelligence) pop-ups!!!This whole feature is a distraction. We cannot be so busy that we must now have artificial intelligence helping us with our jobs. The pop-up is always in the way; I can't turn it off no matter what I've tried from the recommendations, including reverting back to the "old" Adobe; the prior version of Acrobat is so old and has been out of use so long, now I'm trying to retrain where to find the simplest tools. I was happily used to using the newer version, until this AI piece was added in. Please get this out of here;… 37 votes

never offer summaryThere will be no time ever in which I will open a document in Acrobat Pro and want an AI summary rather than reading it. The entire point of opening is to read it, not your guess of what it says. I do not want this feature, I do not want it popping up and offering me ****** AI "tools" I don't need it and it slows me down to actually have to click past it to get my work done. Please disable all this AI slop by default. 25 votes

+create button is irritating. Please remove. With your recent SW, you not only filled both sides with your revenue addons, but you also put the "+create" button with all of the tabs. I tolerate your tool sidebars, but your "+create" button is IN THE WAY OF DAILY WORK!!! I am constantly miss-clicking it and having to deal with that tool getting in my face all the time. You make it worse by being hyper-sensitive to the mouse pointer moving across it and then opening a larger context window. It is IN MY FACE ALL THE TIME. Congratulations for making this a regularly irritating experience. Please get… 10 votes

Looks like Garbage, Painful to UseYour new interface is complete garbage. I have been using this software for years, and while I have been able to adapt to a lot of changes, you swapping the location of the bookmarks and tools is completely unwarranted and terrible. This is literally painful to look at. Who ever thought this was a good idea should go live in computer purgatory with that stupid Microsoft paperclip. 15 votes

Hide 'Enable Editing' Button on New AcrobatOn old Acrobat, when opening a document that claims compliance with PDF/A, a box would appear at the top of the program stating so along with an "Enable Editing" button. Although on a read-only document, I am unable to click Enable Editing; however, I could click the "I" information icon and have it dismissed. On New Acrobat, the same box appears with the same "Enable Editing" button and same "I" information icon, but clicking the "I" no longer does anything. Therefore on certain read-only documents, I am stuck with this blue box permanently at the top wasting screen real estate. 1 vote

Hyperlinks Spanning Multiple LinesHyperlinks that span more than one line create multiple OBJR tags.
Reproduce: Create file in InDesign with links that span more than one line. Export to PDF/open with Acrobat. Find tag. Link will have two OBJR tags (or more if the link spans more than two lines). This is a bad experience for users of assistive technologies.
Sometimes manually fixing tags (deleting old links and creating new OBJR tag) isn't sufficient and designer has to resort to editing in the content pane or even using the Actual Text override to get the link to be read by assistive technology properly.…11 votesHi,
As we checked on our side, this issue is related to the tagging functionality in InDesign. Please log the issue with them. Thanks
