Redesign the Idiotic UI design
Adobe Photoshop has 70 tools. Acrobat has about half the number of tools as Photoshop. In Photoshop, a user doesn't have to load tools. All are accessible from the Tools panel and menu commands in the Windows menu. In Acrobat one has to load tools from the Load Tools Window. Also in Photoshop one can configure a personalized UI design and save the Workspace. In Acrobat one can spend a few hours configuring the Workspace (for example one designed for working on forms) then the user begins to work on other activities (say comment & review). To…

New page layout format
The latest page layout is so confusing. Why did you do this to us?! It's one thing to update looks and add/subtract features. But you swapped sides. Now all editing tools are on the left and navigation (bookmarks etc.) are on the right. Why do this? That just slows us down and confuses us when we are used to it being editing on the right and navigation on the left. There doesn't seem to be a purpose in swapping them except to torment us. Perhaps you can add a preference in settings where we can make the layout as we…

Searches
Return back to prev search tools, especially new window with search results listed. And provide user choice tools on the toolbar across top.
I spend so much more time trying to use newest ver. that I am looking for a better pdf reader solution...you screwed up the most useful tools.4 votes -
AI Removal
I think we can all agree that your AI pop-up is the most annoying and useless "feature" on Adobe. As you can see, several cases have been opened against it, and ALL the cases have been upvoted. How much longer til y'all actually get rid of it? Since we're talking about annoying pop-ups, can you also find a way to disable the pop up when I copy text? I just need to copy some quick data into another spreadsheet and every time I select the text I have your stupid pop-up to Generate an Image, Simplify, Define, or Ask your…

open new window
Hello Adobe support,
I cannot find the setting to deactivate "open documents as a new tabs in the same window" (I want a new window for each!) under [preferences > General > Basic Tools] anymore since the latest update. Please can you let me know where I can turn this off? I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader MUI (23.003.20244).
Thank you and regards,

Role Customization and additional Collaboration/Markup tools
We are currently in the process of modernizing our internal approval processes and have a number of forms that have been converted from excel worksheets into PDF forms. These forms when submitted, need to step through and be signed by a number of reviewers before final approval by the company Director.
Our process is very collaborative and quite often, signers/reviewers have additional information that needs to be added to the document as it passes through different departments.
With the way our forms currently work with Adobe Sign, whenever a change or addition needs to be made, the sender has to…

layout is TERRIBLE in the current version the UI couldn't be more difficult to use, little to no concern for rapid workflow or customer use
This needs to be massively cleaned up. Tools don't work intuitively, workflow is choppy at best. Understand new functionality is being added, but, the smooth fit-for-purpose flow the older versions had where you can get in and out, get your job done is massively broken so badly that we all actively avoid using the tool as much as possible until we have absolutely no choice. It feels like it's trying to become a destination that sinks a massive amount of time. I want my tools to be quick, easy, efficient and get out of them and on with my core…

When attempting to enter a text box in the top RH corner of a document the tool covers the area the document I am editing
When attempting to enter a text box in the top RH corner of a document the tool covers the area the document I am editing. Have the tools we want to use permanently displayed
revert back to version 9 format.
4 votesHi User, Thanks for reaching out to us.
The workaround for this is to click on the text properties icon bar to hide the properties so that you can easily see the text box.
Please let us know if this works for you.For the second ask, can you explain the issue again as we are not clear with the ask here.

Crop tool
Can Adobe PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY - add the crop tool back to the main set of tools (All tools) so I dont have to constantly remind myself where the heck it is? Why did Adobe bury the lead? The crop tool used to be front & center and now its hidden in a tab. I'm forever searching for it on the rare occassion I need to crop within Acrobat.

Provide a way to remove/move Request for signatures button in Office Home ribbon
In a recent update, Adobe Acrobat added 2 buttons in Microsoft Office applications to "Request for Signatures" and "Create and Share Adobe PDF".
This integration doesn't appear in the Ribbon or in the Add-ins list, so currently there is NO way to remove/move those buttons. It is a significant problem when you work with documents side by side or in lower resolution displays because they take too much space in the ribbon and force other more important buttons/groups to collapse/hide.

Keyboard shortcuts to reorder items in the tags panel (Accessibility Tool)
Please add keyboard shortcuts to reorder items in the tag panel.
Currently, a user must drag and drop tags in the Tags panel to change the reading order. It is easy to drag and drop items in the wrong place.
To recreate this problem:
1.) Open a tagged PDF
2.) Open Accessibility Tools
3.) Open Tags Panel
4.) Attempt to re-order itemsIt would be extremely useful to be able to do the following
With a tag selected, I want the ability to do the following with the keyboard:-Move the tag up
-Move the tag down…9 votes -
Latest user interface
Bring back the interface where all tools are at the top. In the latest interface various functions are spread out amoung the upper left corner, the top right corner, the bottom left corner, and then some more in the menu bar at the top. Um, who thought this was a good idea?

Customization for all default shortcut icons
It makes no sense that customizing the tool bar is limited in that the default tools can't be deleted or even moved lower. Same goes for the side panel. Same goes for the navigation bar. Everyone uses the product differently, requiring/preferring widely varied views and tools. I don't see why adobe wouldn't provide full customization in order to better serve every user. Some of the default icons are ones I will absolutely never click on but I have no choice but to have and keep them in the prime and easiest to access locations on the page.

Home Tab interface
In the Home tab there should be the following main tools listed:
- Open (Document)
- Create PDF
- Combine filesThose are what we use the most.
My Home is showing Organize Pages, Fill & Sign, and Protect.I don't use those.
Or, you can add the tools bar to the Home so I don't have to switch to the tools tab.

Permanently Add Tool to Tool Panel
I use the Accessibility tools every single day.
However, I have to manually re-add it to the tool panel each time that I log on, unless I just leave the computer on and locked (and IT does not run an auto-patch and restarts my computer without asking).
ter locked.
Is there a way to set it add a tool permanently to the tool panel on a single computer (as with previous versions of Acrobat Pro)?
Thanks.

What the devil did you do to Acrobat?! You've butchered the standard menu and replaced it with some childish set of random buttons instead.
Since the last update, I can't find the most useful tools because there's no longer a normal, standard "file, edit, ..." menu across the top... and I don't know if it's possible to get it back in a "Classic" form... if so, it shouldn't be hard to realize or see how to do it. You've made this an usable piece of ****. I'm spending more time looking for the tools I've used intuitively before, and getting my temper under control, than doing real work. GIVE ME BACK A STANDARD FORM MENU ON THE TOP, WITHOUT SEARCHING AND HUNTING FOR SUCH…

New design is garbage
Side panel page navigation are you stupid? who looks at the bottom right corner. at the very least let me choose what tools go where and the floating toolbar on the left is just lazy. finally if you are going to roll out a new one for all that is holy let me move my customizations with me.

This interface doesn't show me what I need!
The new Acrobat looks lovely, but many of the tools I need are not there. I can't see what page I'm on in a document by quickly looking at the top of the screen; I can't have Comments and Pages open at the same time...these are things that I need to use the program! Thank goodness I was able to disable it!
