  1. When combining multiple single-page PDFs into one large PDF, Acrobat steals window focus every few seconds. Acrobat is repeatedly seizing window focus and popping back on top of the other windows.

I would like to continue work while Acrobat works, but I can't. Instead, acrobat grabs the mouse and keyboard back every few seconds. This renders my computer completely unusable while Acrobat is running.

    To replicate this bug:

    1. Select 50 PDF files.
    2. Right-click and choose "Combine in Acrobat"
    3. Inside Acrobat, click "Combine".
    4. Return to work.

While you are trying to work, Acrobat will continue to steal focus and push it's…

  2. Problem: when combining multiple PDF files into one PDF, the result will be a variety of unprintable characters.
    1) EACH individual PDF file appears fine (both on the screen and when printed). There are NO unprintable characters within the PDF.
    2) CAN combine say 5 to 15 PDF files. All Fonts & characters appear fine (within the combined PDF). WILL also print OK. NO unprintable characters.
    3) Now try to combine about 35-60 PDF files into ONE PDF file (NOT good). The COMBINED PDF will display on the SCREEN unprintable characters (€ = square box) on nearly every page!
    Occurs…

  3. I need several people to sign a release form. I'd like to put the email addresses (there are 38 in this example) in and have Adobe Sign send a form to each recipient. THIS IS NOT MULTIPLE SIGNATURES ON ONE FORM. It is ONE signature on ONE form sent to MANY people.

  4. Documents such as petitions are often numbered. This is so a set of identical documents assigned to different people can be tracked, to ensure that all pages are accounted for. Being able to print a unique sequential number in the footer of each page would be a tremendous enhancement. For example, if I were printing 500 pages of a 2-page document in duplex mode, I would want a serial number to appear on the footer of the first page in this sequence: 1001, 1002, 1003.....1499, 1500.

  5. Import a jpg from phone. Creates pdf so big i have to mess with zoom continually. Adobe used to just have it as a single page view regardless. What am I missing?

  6. In versions before Acrobat Pro DC you could scroll through advanced search results with the down arrow. Now you must select and click on the entry, a HUGE time waster and annoying step backward in Acrobat's functionality.

  7. What users need in the new interface...

Fellow users, please add or vote up the features that are most critical for you.
(Interface-related only, not new features or utilities.)

    ONE:
A totally customizable set of toolbars — left, right, top, and bottom of the application window, and also on a side monitor.

    — User determines which toolbars are visible.

    — User can dock or float them anywhere, including on a second monitor that's outside the application window.

    — User chooses which tools are in each toolbar.

    — User chooses whether each tool/utility is represented as an icon only, icon +…

  8. I am using MacOS Big Sur 11.6 and Acrobat Acrobat version 2021.007.20099.

The attached "Ful Score" PDF is displayed properly on the screen by Acrobat, but Acrobat prints it badly. I also included two screenshots, a *.png of Acrobat's display of the PDF (which looks OK) and a pdf produced by scanning a physical printout of that same PDF printed by Acrobat, which shows that Acrobat prints the file really badly.

The PDF was produced by Sibelius. I might say Sibelius was at fault for producing a bad PDF (probably with layers, but I'm not sure of the internals), except…

  9. Pdfs created from Microsoft Word using Acrobat PDFMaker sometimes omit entire paragraphs of text. This has been happening sporadically and unpredictably since the Sept 14 update. Pdf output has become unreliable. In all but one instance among the cases detected, the paragraph that disappears is adjacent to a graphic object--either a line or an image. The missing text is not being covered up by any other object; the text is actually not present in the pdf. A few very inconvenient workarounds are available if the omission is detected: (1) Re-create the affected page by itself instead of outputting the…

  10. Save App Info anywhere else aside from in the Windows Credential Manager. Overpopulation of Windows Credentials is causing my CFO's Adobe software & Microsoft software to completely fail to load. MS software profiles are also getting corrupted as a result. Since the Microsoft software is critical for daily work, this may force us to stop using Adobe entirely.

  12. The text recognition has not improved in decades, and the OCR has never been able to make the text represent in a way that is easy to work with, making dozens of microadjustments on a single line, so that editing a scanned doc becomes a useless idea. Maybe provide better suggestions about what the intent of the page was supposed to be resulting in smaller files? How hard can it be to turn an image of a table into a dataframe anyway????

  13. It would be nice if the tagging structure followed text that is copied/pasted and/or exported/imported from one PDF into another one.

  15. In Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28.03.2017), distill the following:

    %!PS
    /StrokeCode {1 setlinejoin gsave 0 setlinecap 24 setlinewidth 0 setgray stroke grestore 1 setlinecap 9.6 setlinewidth 1 setgray stroke} def
    144 72 moveto 144 144 2 copy 72 144 curveto
    72 144 moveto 144 144 2 copy 144 72 curveto
    StrokeCode
    showpage

The moveto should start a new sub-path; display of that point should be determined by setlinecap not by setlinejoin. Alas, Distiller causes it to be determined by setlinejoin.

  17. General User Feedback

    1. There needs to be a direct feedback button. The AI feature is beta and it is too difficult to provide quick feedback. I had to search, chat, and end up in the general feeback area. If you are going to test something beta, make a dedicated feedback button/link direct in the AI box.

    2. This was released way to early, the AI can't help with what it labels scanned documents or images. That is most pdfs already. Second, I have tested this with first generation pdfs and the AI will still say it is incapable. Almost 9…

  18. 最新版的快照工具在編輯中找不到,在工具清單也沒有顯示,除非使用搜尋欄才會顯示以點選啟動,這影響到處理大型影像的工作效率,請盡快修正

For the latest version Acrobat (23.6.20320.0
), Snapshot is no longer listed in Edit and not able to be found in Tools, unless trigger it via the search bar, working efficiency is impacted for dealing with some large image, could you fix it asap?
