multi core support adobe acrobat pro DC
I see that Adobe Acrobat Pro DC only uses one core of the many cores today in PC.
For example if I use OCR or improving documents, it takes a lot of time. Page per page is done using only one core.
Please update the software that it uses more cores (like adobe premiere does). This will drastically improve the performance and our efficiency.

Adobe makes the top bar with 'File Edit, View, E-Sign, Window, Help disappear.
Adobe makes the top bar with 'File Edit, View, E-Sign, Window, Help disappear.
I have to keep hitting F9 to make it return. Please stop it. I want those choices to stay put on the screen. When the bar disappears, I can't move the window to a new location on the desktop. Hitting F9 is constantly a burden while having Adobe open, and it does not always work consistently.5 votes -
eSign doesnt WORK!!!!
Literally the only useful thing about Adobe Acrobat Pro is the hecking e-Sign. It used to be nice, now it doesn't work at all, neither with the desktop nor web application. Desktop doesn't react at all when pressing the e-Sign and web just shows the spinner forever.
Why would anybody pay for this **** when the only useful feature doesnt even work...3 votes -

Terrible Updates
How about not auto updating without asking us first or allowing us to roll back,
Your latest update ruined my whole day and I am still stuck,Now files that I send many times a day cannot be sent.
The eSignature side no longer works.
Tech support barely speaks English.
Is there a better option than Adobe?

Customization for all default shortcut icons
It makes no sense that customizing the tool bar is limited in that the default tools can't be deleted or even moved lower. Same goes for the side panel. Same goes for the navigation bar. Everyone uses the product differently, requiring/preferring widely varied views and tools. I don't see why adobe wouldn't provide full customization in order to better serve every user. Some of the default icons are ones I will absolutely never click on but I have no choice but to have and keep them in the prime and easiest to access locations on the page.

After I export a pdf as images and combine the files, I'm not allowed to save the combined file.
After exporting a pdf as images and combining the files. It won't save the combined file. When I hit "save" and choose a location it doesn't save and the save icon stays lit. This only happens with images I export from Acrobat. I can combined PDFs perfectly fine. I have Windows 11

Adobe Acrobat - Confusion due to too many magnifying glass icons
There are too many icons in Adobe Acrobat that use a magnifying glass. As a result, I can't find the important/most commonly used icons like zooming in/out and the 'Find' option. Are that many different zoom options really needed, and if they are then maybe do a better job of using a variety of icons and hide the lesser used ones by default. Another option would be to provide one zoom icon on the toolbar and then when you click on that button, it provides a drop-down menu, to choose which specific zoom. There definitely needs to…

update "new design" with known functions and buttons
Hey there, my company uses Acrobat DC to view Electrical drawings, So we are used to have buttons for next/previus Page and for next/previus view. The new design is to slim i cant activate the buttons. This is an issue my users cant remember all short cuts for all programms. So a short cut is not a workaound for us.
Would it be possibile to reesteblish the buttons? If this is not intended please let me know than i just start testing other PDF-players.
I liked Acrobat but no hard feelings if i and my coulegues are not youre targeted…2 votes -
Allow activation on 3 devices simultaneously for Acrobat.
Allow simultaneous license activation on 3 devices. Limit it to Acrobat, or Acrobat Reader. Have the end user register their 3 devices.
As of 2020, many people work remotely and on multiple devices: tablet, laptop, desktop. Further many people switch between the two very rapidly - for example: An Architect may review designs on the desktop, switch to a laptop for a meeting and contract signature, leave the laptop at the office, and take the tablet to the field (with no internet/reception) to make in-field review. The software is known to close/freeze in order to check-in/validate online &…

Cannot save if file is being previewed in Windows File Explorer
On the Windows 10 desktop, if your view option in File Explorer is set to have a preview pane and the file you're working on is selected and being previewed, Acrobat will throw a dialog window that says: "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder.".
The preview pane is causing Acrobat to assume the file is in use, which technically it is, but this is a bug that shouldn't cause a file saving error. Selecting another file in File Explorer fixes…

Complaint
This latest update of Adobe Acrobat is horrible. The new layout is disorienting, not at all intuitive and I can't find anything anymore. The tool bars and other side sections now take up so much space that I have no space in which to read. The floating tool thingy on the left side obscures text that I want to see. Who was this designed for and how do I revert back to the previous version of the program?

Bug: Adobe Acrobat Pro closes/crashes during OCR
Adobe closes immediately after clicking Recognize Text in the Scan & OCR tool or Optimize Scanned Pages in the Optimize PDF tool. This occurs on the Windows 10 desktop version. I've tried checking for updates (already up to date) and repairing the installation.

Idea of a possible update
It would be very helpful if you would enter text sizes of 11 and 16 in the comments section.

I downloaded the free trial and in the browser, it tells me I have 6 days left in the trial, but when I open the program on the desktop, it tells me that my trial expired.

Could the forced "Updates" be disabled.
We are supporting a real time product that needs only the Acrobat Reader DC as one of its components.
No new "cool features" and "enhancements" like "collaborations" are required.
Adobe updates were turned OFF and no problems.
Then Adobe hacked each of the installations with its "updates".
We cannot replace the Adobe Acrobat Reader.1) How to block/remove "collaboration" and the Adobe Acrobat Reader "updates" for ever?
2) If hacking someone's System considered to be unethical and illegal - why ignoring the "No Update" option and forcefully pushing the undesired updates is ethical ?

Include Supersedence information in Catalog Updates for SCUP
We have successfully implemented the Catalog for Adobe Acrobat and Reader in SCCM 1806 and systems are responding well to updates. Upon trying to create an Automatic Deployment Rule to only push the latest full available update to my systems, I come across the issue where the Supersedence information is not filled in on the update bundles that are provided.
Having this information filled in will allow us to use Automatic Deployment Rules, so that we can do it fully automated.

Bug: Edit a PDF menu is blank, no tools displayed (Windows)
After the most recent update a few days ago, there are 4 tabs at the top: All tools, Edit, Convert, and Sign.
When I click on the Edit tab, the right hand menu area is blank. No edit tools are displayed.
I have added the "Add text" feature to the floating shortcuts tool bar that came with the update. However, when I click it to add text, the left hand area is blank with none of the options to do things like select font size displayed, and I can't add these to the shortcuts bar, so most features are…
